Customizable,portable,battery-operated,wireless platforms for interfacing high-sensitivity nanoscale sensors are a means to improve spatiotemporal measurement coverage of physical *** a platform can enable the expansion of IoT for environmental and lifestyle *** we report a platform capable of acquiring currents ranging from 1.5 nA to 7.2μA full-scale with 20-bit resolution and variable sampling rates of up to 3.125 *** addition,it features a bipolar voltage programmable in the range of-10 V to+5 V with a 3.65 mV resolution.A Finite state Machine steers the system by executing a set of embedded *** FsM allows for dynamic,customized adjustments of the nanosensor bias,including elevated bias schemes for self-heating,measurement range,bandwidth,sampling rate,and measurement time ***,it enables data logging on external memory(sD card)and data transmission over a Bluetooth low energy *** average power consumption of the platform is 64.5 mW for a measurement protocol of three samples per second,including a BLE advertisement of a 0 dBm transmission power.A state-of-the-art(soA)application of the platform performance using a CNT nanosensor,exposed to NO_(2) gas concentrations from 200 ppb down to 1 ppb,has been *** sensor signals are measured for NO_(2) concentrations of 1 ppb,the 3σlimit of detection(LOD)of 23 ppb is determined(1σ:7 ppb)in slope detection mode,including the sensor signal variations in repeated *** platform’s wide current range and high versatility make it suitable for signal acquisition from resistive nanosensors such as silicon nanowires,carbon nanotubes,graphene,and other 2D *** with its overall low power consumption,the proposed platform is highly suitable for various sensing applications within the context of IoT.

Human dental enamel forms over a period of 2 4 years by substituting the enamel matrix, a protein gel mostly composed of a single protein, amelogenin with fibrous apatite nanocrystals. self-assembly of a dense amelogenin matrix is presumed to direct the growth of apatite fibers and their organization into bundles that eventually comprise the mature enamel, the hardest tissue in the mammalian body. This work aims to establish the physicochemical and biochemical conditions for the synthesis of fibrous apatite crystals under the control of a recombinant full-length human amelogenin rnatrix in combination with a pro- grammable titration system. The growth of apatite substrates was initiated from supersaturated calcium phosphate solutions in the presence of dispersed amelogenin assemblies. It was shown earlier and confirmed in this study that binding of amelogenin onto apatite surfaces presents the first step that leads to substrate-specific crystal growth. In this work, we report enhanced nucleation and growth under conditions at which amelogenin and apatite carry opposite charges and adsorption of the protein onto the apatite seeds is even more favored. Experiments at pH below the isoelectric point of amelogenin showed increased protein binding to apatite and at low Ca/P molar ratios resulted in a change in crystal morphology from plate-like to fibrous and rod-shaped. Concentrations of calcium and phosphate ions in the supernatant did not show drastic decreases throughout the titration period, indicating controlled precipitation from the protein suspension metastable with respect to calcium phosphate. It is argued that amelobtasts in the developing enamel may vary the density of the protein matrix at the nano scale by varying local pH, and thus control the interaction between the mineral and protein phases. Of all known small molecules targeting human immunodeficiency virus(HIV)capsid protein(CA),PF74 represents by far the best characterized chemotype,due to its ability to confer antiviral phenotypes in both early and late phases of viral ***,the prohibitively low metabolic stability renders PF74 a poor antiviral *** report herein our medicinal chemistry efforts toward identifying novel and metabolically stable small molecules targeting the PF74 binding ***,we replaced the inter-domain-interacting,electron-rich indole ring of PF74 with less electron-rich isosteres,including imidazolidine-2,4-dione,pyrimidine-2,4-dione,and benzamide,and identified four potent antiviral compounds(10,19,20 and 26)with markedly improved metabolic *** to PF74,analog 20 exhibited similar submicromolar potency,and much longer(51-fold)half-life in human liver microsomes(HLMs).Molecular docking corroborated that 20 binds to the PF74 binding site,and revealed distinct binding interactions conferred by the benzamide ***,our data support compound 20 as a promising antiviral lead.

The redox potentials of xanthate/dixanthogen (dithiocarbonate/di dithiocarbonate, DTC/(DTC) 2) and trithiocarbonate/di trithiocarbonate (TTC/(TTC) 2) couples have been measured for the potassium salts. The spectroscopic characteristics of these sulfide mineral collectors were determined by FTIR and UV analysis. Electrochemically controlled contact angle measurements at a pyrite surface provided the basis to analyze the effect of the functional group ( O Cs 2 versus s Cs 2) on the hydrophobic surface state. Results from this preliminary examination are discussed with respect to the nature of collector adsorption and the pyrite flotation response.

A series of KY3F10 nanophosphors doped with Gd3＋, Ce3＋ and Eu3＋ ions were obtained with the use of a co-precipitation method. The resulting products were white precipitates, consisting of spherical particles with diameter about 150-200 nm, which was confirmed using transmission electron microscopy （TEM） technique. Powder X-ray diffraction （XRD） and energy dispersive X-ray analysis （EDX） measurements confirmed appropriate structures of the nanoparticles obtained. spectroscopic properties of the prod- ucts were examined on the basis of the measured excitation/emission spectra and luminescence decay curves. The synthesized sam- ples showed orange-red luminescence, characteristic for Eu3＋ ions. The reaction process was performed in required alkaline pH ad- justed with the use of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid （EDTA） and potassium hydroxide. The samples containing large amounts of Gd3＋ dooant ions exhibited a tendencv to form nroducts with different momhologies.

The KLOE experiment at the φ-factory DAФPNE has measured the pion form factor in the range between 0.1 〈 Mππ^2 〈 0.85 GeV^2 using events taken at √s = 1 GeV with a photon emitted at large polar angles in the initial state. This measurement extends the Mππ^2 region covered by KLOE IsR measurements of the pion form factor down to the two pion production threshold. The value obtained in this measurement of the dipion contribution to the muon anomalous magnetic moment of △αμ^ππ= （478.5±2-0stat±4.8syst±2.9theo）·10^-10 further confirms the discrepancy between the standard Model evaluation for αμ and the experimental value measured by the （g-2） collaboration at BNL.

Real-time geospatial information is used in various applications such as risk management or alerting ***,the rise of new sensing technologies also increases the demand for processing the data in real ***’s spatial data infrastructures,however,do not meet the requirements for real-time *** OpenGIs®Web Processing service(WPs)is not designed to process real-time *** has some major drawbacks in asynchronous processing and cannot handle(geo)data streams out of the *** previous papers,we introduced the GeoPipes approach to share spatiotemporal data in real *** implemented the concept extending the Message Queue and Telemetry Transport(MQTT)protocol by a spatial and temporal dimension,which we call *** this paper,we demonstrate the integration of the GeoPipes idea in the WPs interface to expose standardized real-time geoprocessing *** proof of the concept is illustrated in some exemplary real-time geo processes.
