In this study,the main properties of the hydraulic jump in an asymmetric trapezoidal flume are analyzed experimentally,including the so-called sequent depths,characteristic lengths,and *** particular,an asymmetric trapezoidal flume with a length of 7 m and a width of 0.304 m is considered,with the bottom of the flume transversely inclined at an angle of m=0.296 and vertical lateral *** corresponding inflow froude number is allowed to range in the interval(1.40f1f this jump are compared to those of hydraulic jumps in channels with other types of cross-sections.A relationship for calculating hydraulic jump efficiency is proposed for the considered *** f1>5,the hydraulic jump is found to be more effective than that occurring in triangular and symmetric trapezoidal ***,when■mes>8 and■>5,the hydraulic jump in the asymmetrical trapezoidal channel downstream of a parallelogram sluice gate is completely formed as opposed to the situation where a triangular sluice is considered.

Bandgap tuning using rare earth metals as dopants in ferrite-based photocatalytic materials has received a lot of interest because the fermi 4f energy of these metals generates a sub-energy state in the bandgap generated by the overlapping of fe-3d and O-2p ***,dysprosium-doped cobalt-nickel mixed ferrite(d-CNfO)and its graphene-reinforced composite(d-CNfO@G)were prepared and an ideal photocatalyst material for azo dye mineralization was proposed.A cost-effective combination of wetchemical and ultrasonication methods was used to prepare the doped and composite *** characterization methodologies were used to scrutinize the optical,compositional,structural,morphological,and photocatalytic characteristics of as-prepared *** X-ray diffraction analysis identified the spinel phase's(cubic)structure,while the electronic spectroscopy examination confirmed the prepared samples'rod-like *** UV/visible absorbance spectrum shows the higher light harvesting behavior of the d-CNfO@G in the visible *** mineralization performance of the dCNfO and d-CNfO@G composites was analyzed using Congo-red(an anionic dye),a well-known azo *** d-CNfO@G sample removes Congo-red dye at a rate almost 2.4%faster than the d-CNfO *** experiment involving trapping free radicals indicates that hydroxyl radical play s a crucial role in dye *** the d-CNfO@G catalyst is magnetic and can be isolated easily from the photocatalytic system,it shows an awkward cycle activity of more than 96%after five mineralization *** asprepared d-CNfO@G composite is proved as an excellent option for azo dye mineralization because of the combined impacts of rare earth doping,graphene reinforcement and nanotechnology.

The exchange of oxygen (O2) and carbon dioxide (CO2) within an incubator has a significant impact on embryonic development (Ed) and hatching processes. This study examines the influence of non-ventilation (NV) conditions during the first ten days of incubation at high altitudes on Leghorn hens hatching eggs. five hundred four hatching eggs were equally divided into three treatment groups and placed in twelve incubators (R = 4). The first group was subjected to standard ventilated conditions (V) during the setting phase. The ventilation inlet holes of the remaining incubators in the NV treatments were closed with either micropore (M) or polypropylene (P) tape, referred to as NVM and NVP groups, respectively. These two different airtight settings were intended to allow for a gradual rise in CO2 naturally generated by the embryos. Results indicate that carbon dioxide concentration gradually increased during the first half of incubation, reaching 1.42% in the NVM group and 1.20% in the NVP group, while the V condition group remained at 0.15%. from 10 days of incubation onwards, normal V conditions were restored in all incubators. The highest hatchability of fertile eggs (HfE) was shown by the NVP group (55.7%), followed by the V (52.6%) and NVM (38.6%) groups. The NVP group showed a greater yolk-free body mass (YfBM) from 10 days of incubation until the hatch basket transfer. NV conditions during the first 10 days of incubation at high altitude produced higher YfBM with gradually decreasing yolk sac mass. In comparison to the NVM and V conditions, the particular NVP condition showed a beneficial impact on the quality of hatched chicks. Sustaining NVP condition (1.2% of CO2) throughout the first half of incubation at high altitude generated the optimal environment in the incubator ensuring the best hatchability results. Objectives: This study aims to evaluate the level of X-ray doses used in childhood’s head as Local diagnostic Reference Levels (LdRLs) in computed tomography (CT) at a university hospital in Côte d’Ivoire. The diagnostic Reference Level (dRL) have been set up and used to prevent unusually high radiation doses used in radiology departments and is therefore an optimization tool for practices and procedures in medical X-ray imaging for the radiation protection of patients. Methods: A prospective study of volume CT dose index (CTdIvol) and dose length product (dLP) was performed on images of childhood’s head obtained from a CT-scanner of 64 bars equipped with the tube current modulation capability and manufactured by Hitachi Medical System. 122 CT-scan data from 55 childhood’s head were analyzed. The scan data were stratified in four age groups: Results: The 75th percentile of CTdIvol and dLP (set as LdRL) obtained with respect to the stratified age groups are: 22.5 mGy and 452.5 mGy∙cm, 27.7 mGy and 690.6 mGy∙cm, 28 mGy and 722.4 mGy∙cm, 33.6 mGy and 736.8 mGy∙cm respectively. These outcome values increase with respect to the age of pediatric patients and are comparable to dRLs values obtained internationally. Conclusions: Obtaining good image quality while using low dose in children’s head computed tomography for radiation protection require to setup more surveys in Côte d’Ivoire for regional and national dRL. We proposed through this survey LdRLs in terms of CTdIvol and dLP, comparable to international dRLs values. This survey will be strengthened by additional surveys in order to obtain national dRLs for the radiation protection of the child patient in Côte d’Ivoire.

This study aimed to assess the microbiological quality of tiger nut (Cyperus esculentus L.) products sold in Ouagadougou and Bobo dioulasso. The microbial load of tubers and tiger nut milk was determined using ISO 4833-1 (2003) standard (total mesophilic aerobic flora), Nf ISO 7954 (1998) standard (yeasts and molds), and ISO 4832 (2006) standard (total coliforms, thermotolerant coliforms). The results showed that tiger nut tubers had an average microbial load between 4.86 ± 7.03 × 106 UfC/g and 1.82 ± 2.30 × 107 UfC/g for total mesophilic aerobic flora, from 4.34 ± 10.6 × 105 UfC/g to 3.52 ± 4.54 × 106 UfC/g for yeasts and molds, from 2.23 ± 2.25 × 105 UfC/g to 1.41 ± 2.16 × 105 UfC/g for total coliforms and from 1.83 ± 2.03 × 105 UfC/g to 7.0 ± 10.8 × 104 CfU/g for thermotolerant coliforms. for tiger nut milk samples, the average microbial load varied from 3.48 ± 2.98 × 106 CfU/g to 2.80 ± 5.69 × 107 CfU/g for total mesophilic aerobic flora, from 5.00 ± 7.21 × 104 CfU/g to 1.88 ± 3.31 × 105 CfU/g for yeasts and molds, from 4.58 ± 10.4 × 104 CfU/g to 6.31 ± 9.17 × 105 CfU/g for total coliforms and 7.00 ± 7.00 × 103 CfU/g to 2.87 ± 5.86 × 105 CfU/g for thermotolerant coliforms. This study revealed that the tubers and tiger nut milk sold in Ouagadougou and Bobo dioulasso had a high microbial load which could lead to the degradation of these products and food poisoning for consumers.
