Psychological impact of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) social distancing mandates on trauma survivors

Objective:Despite recognition that coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic created an unprecedented impact on global mental health,information on the psychological health among trauma survivors during the COVID-19 pandemic is *** sought to examine psychological outcomes among individuals with preexisting traumatic experiences during ***:We sampled 1242 adults in the mid-Atlantic region of the United States under a state-issued Phase 1 stay-at-home mandate to examine associations between pre-pandemic trauma exposure as measured by the Brief Trauma Questionnaire(BTQ)and anxiety and depression,as measured by the Patient Reported Outcome Scale Anxiety and Depression(PROMIS-A and PROMIS-D).Results:Pre-pandemic trauma exposure among the sample was reported,with 281(22.6%)participants identifying as experiencing one trauma,209(16.8%)reporting two,and 468(37.7%)reporting three or *** reported experiences of trauma increased,so did participant anxiety and depressive ***-way Analysis of Variance indicated that reported trauma was significantly positively correlated with anxiety(Pfindings highlight the immense psychological toll of the COVID-19 pandemic,specifically with individuals who were previously exposed to *** health officials can encourage physicians,employers,and universities to screen patients,employees,and students to assess previous trauma,psychological functioning,and risk *** between physicians and mental health providers including psychiatrists,psychologists,counselors,and social workers to provide evidence informed rapid coordination of care can better meet the global mental health crisis that is arising as a result of this unprecedented global trauma.

用于润滑油评价的发动机试验结束后,拆解发动机并对核心部件进行评分的方法,已在润滑油性能评价中得到广泛应用。由于部件评分具有主观性,故需要通过标准方法规范部件评价项目与评分计算方法,实现主观评分的客观化,从而保证部分评分的一致性。通过部件评分结合客观的部件测量以及油样理化测试分析,可以更全面的反映发动机状态及润滑油性能水平。文章回顾了国内外润滑油发动机试验中部件评分方法、分类和项目,重点介绍了活塞沉积物评分和油泥评分,分析了汽油机油和柴油机油产品规格中的部件评分考核项目的质量指标,为我国自主润滑油标准体系的发动机台架测试提供参考。

Background:Pulmonary sarcomatoid carcinoma(PSC)is a rare and aggressive subtype of non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC),characterized by the presence of epithelial and sarcoma-like *** molecular and immune landscape of PSC has not been well ***:Multiomics profiling of 21 pairs of PSCs with matched normal lung tissues was performed through targeted high-depth DNA panel,whole-exome,and RNA *** describe molecular and immune features that define subgroups of PSC with disparate genomic and immunogenic features as well as distinct clinical ***:In total,27 canonical cancer gene mutations were identified,with TP53 the most frequently mutated gene,followed by ***,most TP53 and KRAS mutations were earlier genomic events mapped to the trunks of the tumors,suggesting branching evolution in most PSC *** identified two distinct molecular subtypes of PSC,driven primarily by immune infiltration and *** Immune High(IM-H)subtype was associated with superior survival,highlighting the impact of immune infiltration on the biological and clinical features of localized ***:We provided detailed insight into the mutational landscape of PSC and identified two molecular subtypes associated with ***-H tumors were associated with favorable recurrence-free survival and overall survival,highlighting the importance of tumor immune infiltration in the biological and clinical features of PSCs.

A strategy is presented for the machine-learning emulation of electronic structure calculations carried out in the electronically grand-canonical *** approach relies upon a dual-learning scheme,where both the system charge and the system energy are predicted for each *** scheme is shown to be capable of emulating basic electrochemical reactions at a range of potentials,and coupling it with a bootstrap-ensemble approach gives reasonable estimates of the prediction *** method is also demonstrated to accelerate saddle-point searches,and to extrapolate to systems with one to five water *** anticipate that this method will allow for larger length-and time-scale simulations necessary for electrochemical simulations.

An Investigation of Creep Resistance in Grade 91 Steel through Computational Thermodynamics

This study was conducted to understand the relationship between various critical temperatures and the stability of the secondary phases inside the heat-affected-zone(HAZ)of welded Grade 91(Gr.91)steel *** IV cracking has been observed in the HAZ,and it is widely accepted that the stabilities of the secondary phases in Gr.91 steel are critical to the creep resistance,which is related to the crack failure of this *** this work,the stabilities of the secondary phases,including those of the M23C6,MX,and Z phases,were simulated by computational *** cooling and Scheil simulations were carried out in order to understand the phase stability in welded Gr.91 *** effect of four critical temperatures—that is,Acl(the threshold temperature at which austenite begins to form),Ac3(the threshold temperature at which ferrite is fully transformed into austenite),and the M23C6 and Z phase threshold temperatures—on the thickness of the HAZ and phase stability in the HAZ is ***,the simulations presented in this paper explain the mechanisms that can affect the creep resistance of Gr.91 steel,and can offer a possible solution to the problem of how to increase creep resistance at elevated temperatures by optimizing the steel composition,welding,and heat treatment process *** simulation results from this work provide guidance for future alloy development to improve creep resistance in order to prevent type IV cracking.

Sexual dimorphism in cranial shape and size in geomyoid rodents:multivariate and evolutionary perspectives

Geomyoid rodents provide a great study system for the analysis of sexual *** are polygynic and many inhabit harsh arid environments thought to promote sexual *** fact,there has been extensive work published on the sexual size dimorphism of individual populations and species within this rodent ***,little work has been undertaken to assess the evolutionary patterns and processes associated with this sexual *** use multivariate analyses of cranial measurements in a phylogenetic framework to determine the distribution of size and shape dimorphism among geomyoids and test for Rensch’s *** results suggest that sexual dimorphism is more common in geomyids than heteromyids,but it is not in fact *** is evidence for variation in sexual dimorphism across ***,in many taxa,geographic variation appears to overwhelm existing sexual *** find support for the repeated independent evolution of shape and size dimorphism across geomyoid taxa,but we do not find support for an association between size and shape *** is no evidence for Rensch’s rule in geomyoids,whether at the superfamily or family ***,our findings suggest that there is no single explanation for the evolution of sexual dimorphism in geomyoids and that,instead,it is the product of numerous evolutionary *** studies incorporating phylogenetic relationships will be necessary to paint a more complete picture of the evolution of sexual dimorphism in geomyoids.

BACKGROUND The impact of age on outcomes in cardiogenic shock(CS)is poorly described in the pre-hospital *** assessed the impact of age on outcomes of patients treated by emergency medical services(EMS).METHODS This population-based cohort study included consecutive adult patients with CS transported to hospital by *** linked patients were stratified into tertiles by age(18-63,64-77,and>77 years).Predictors of 30-day mortality were assessed through regression *** primary outcome was 30-day all-cause *** A total of 3523 patients with CS were successfully linked to state health *** average age was 68±16 years and 1398(40%)were *** patients were more likely to have comorbidities including pre-existing coronary artery disease,hypertension,dyslipidemia,diabetes mellitus,and cerebrovascular *** incidence of CS was significantly greater with increasing age(incidence rate per 100,000 person years 6.47[95%CI:6.1-6.8]in age 18-63 years,34.34[32.4-36.4]in age 64-77 years,74.87[70.6-79.3]in age>77 years,Pf 30-day mortality with increasing age *** adjustment,compared to the lowest age tertile,patients aged>77 years had increased risk of 30-day mortality(adjusted hazard ratio=2.26[95%CI:1.96-2.60]).Older patients were less likely to receive inpatient coronary *** Older patients with EMS-treated CS have significantly higher rates of short-term *** reduced rates of invasive interventions in older patients underscore the need for further development of systems of care to improve outcomes for this patient group.
