目的:报告诺卡式菌属感染引起的盘状角膜炎病例1例。方法:病例报告。结果:患者,男,13岁,无角膜接触镜使用史,在小溪里游泳后,右眼疼痛伴视力下降2wk。最佳矫正视力:右眼6/30(0.2)。检查发现角膜基质存在形态规则的旁中心盘状浸润伴炎症反应。角膜敏感度下降。最初角膜刮片镜检行革兰氏染色阴性,棘阿米巴角膜刮片和培养阴性。诊断为病毒性盘状角膜炎,给予口服阿昔洛韦和局部使用激素眼药水。2wk后患者视力恶化伴角膜损伤加重,再次角膜取材刮片行革兰氏染色提示诺卡式菌属感染,按经验局部给予3g/L加替沙星眼药水后,临床效果明显。治疗6mo后,视力达到6/6仅在角膜中心留有少量角膜混浊。结论:诺卡式菌属感染延误诊断可以导致病情恶化。如果采用正确的治疗,诺卡式菌属感染引起的角膜炎可以恢复良好,仅留少量瘢痕,获得较好的视力。

This research investigates the arsenic concentrations in 96 soil samples from a regency in Indonesia using a statistical *** samples were collected from three depth layers(topsoil[10e20 cm],subsoil[50e60 cm],and deep soil[90e100 cm]),with each layer consisting of 32 *** analysis using SPSS was employed to analyze potential arsenic sources based on the proximity of study locations to geothermal system areas,land use,distance from industry,and the presence of study locations on fault *** findings indicate that the potential source of arsenic contamination in the soil are suspected to be associated with geothermal system activities and the presence of soil samples on fault *** arsenic concentration in locations near to the geothermal system(5-10 km)was 45 times higher(OR=45,95%CI=45e362.57,phigher in study areas situated on fault zones(OR=3.828,95%CI=1.507e9.719,phe research suggests that arsenic in the soil may also originate from anthropogenic activities,such as agriculture and industry,as the highest concentrations were found in subsoil or topsoil layers compared to deep *** variation in arsenic concentration from highest to lowest in agricultural soil layers was subsoil>topsoil>deep soil,whereas in residential soil,it was subsoil>deep soil>*** arsenic concentration variation at near distances from industrial areas was topsoil>subsoil>deep soil,contrasting with medium to far distances from industry(subsoil>deep soil>topsoil).Therefore,these findings can be utilized to prioritize remediation efforts and provide input for future research on arsenic contamination in the region.

Objective:To produce a technique for the growth of Campylobacter jejuni in aerobic condition Methods:Different combinations of reducing agents were tested in brucella broth and the growth turbidity was compared with tubes containing normal broth *** environment was also provided in a petri plate seeded with Campylobacter culture by pouring 3 different concentrations（10%,5%and 2.5%） of five reducing agents along with bacto-agar in the lid which was used to cover and seal the culture *** reducing agents were also added in broth in concentration of 0.25 mg/mL of each with different ***:In lid agar technique,Campylobacter jejuni growth appeared in all three concentrations of reducing agents, that is 10%,5%and 2.5%after 24 hours of incubation but the best results were observed in 10% *** colonial and morphological characters were not affected when the organisms were grown by this ***:It was found that reducing agents enhance the growth of ***/*** combination of FeSO4,Na2CO3 with h3BO3 worked as ideal mixture for the aerobic growth of *** technique is more economical as compared to commercially available media in the market and can be used for the oral facultative and microaerophilic bacterial growth in laboratory.

Understanding the nature of hydrophobicity has fundamental importance in environmental *** spherical silica nanoparticles(diameter=369±7 nm)as the model material,the current study investigates the relationship between the alkyl chain network and *** alkyl silanes with different chain length(triethoxymethylsilane(C1)***(octyl)silane(C8))were utilised separately for the functionalisation of the *** contact angle and inverse gas chromatography results show that the alkyl chain length is essential for controlling hydrophobicity,as the octyl-functionalised nanoparticles were highly hydrophobic(water contact angle=150.6°±6.6°),whereas the methyl-functionalised nanoparticles were hydrophilic(i.e.,water contact angle=0°,similar to the pristine nanoparticles).The homogeneity of the octyl-chain network also has a significant effect on hydrophobicity,as the water contact angle was reduced significantly from 148.4°±3.5°to 30.5°±1.0°with a methyl-/octyl-silane mixture(ratio=160:40µL·g^(–1) nanoparticles).

Objective:To provide in vitro evidence for antidiabetic activity through potential inhibition of α-glucosidase enzyme,glucose diffusion and enhancement in the wound healing using methanolic extract and fractions from hibiscus sabdariffa ***:The inhibitory action of methanolic extract and fractions of such fruit on aglucosidase enzyme and glucose movement through in vitro assay assessment was *** activities on wound healing were tested using the scratch ***:Ethyl acetate fraction at 50 mg/m L concentration exhibited significant aglucosidase inhibition(95.79 mg/m L) with P he same concentration,the methanolic extract as well as other fractions revealed lower α-glucosidase inhibition and higher glucose diffusion retardation across the dialysis tube than the *** acetate and butanol fractions displayed notably higher glucose diffusion inhibitory activity of 5.21 mmol/L and 5.2 mmol/L,respectively as compared to methanolic extract and n-hexane fraction of 6.58 mmol/L and 6.49 mmol/L,***,compared to other fractions the methanolic extract and ethyl acetate fraction manifested proliferative effect at the incubation time of 6 h during the wound healing ***:It is established that methanolic extract and fractions from *** *** can inhibit the α-glucosidase enzyme and glucose movement as well as influence the wound healing activity positively.

N-4-（bromobutanoyl）-N＇-（o-, m- and p-tolyl）thioureas 3a, 3b and 3c respectively, were synthesized by the reaction of 4-bromobutanoylisothiocyanate with p-, m- and o-toludine. The products were characterized by IR, and NMR spectroscopic techniques. The two carbonoylthiourea isomers N-（4-bromobutanoyl）-N＇-（3-methylphenyl）thiourea （3b） and N-（4-bromobutanoyl）-N＇-（4- methylphenyl）thiourea （3c） were obtained in crystalline form by recrystallization from DMSO. X- ray crystallographic studies showed that both compounds 3b and 3c crystallize in triclinic system with space group ofPi. The molecules adopt trans-cis configuration with respect to the positions of 4-bromobutanoyl and tolyl groups respectively, against the thiono C=S bond across their C-N bonds The configuration is attributed by the intrahydrogen bond between the carbonyl oxygen and amide hydrogen atoms. Both crystal structures are stabilized by N-h…S intermolecular hydrogen bonds to form dimers and arranged along the b axis.

Objective:To analyze the effect of selected plant product against several bacterial which commonly causes oral *** was hope that in future,this product will become the remedy for treatment of oral infection and with the hope that it can substitute ***:A total of 5 species of oral bacteria from American Type Culture Collection(ATCC) were employed in this study(***,***,***,*** and *** ).Three types of natural plants crude extracts were used(garlic,curry leaves and cloves).Bactericidal and bacteriostatic effects of these herbs were ***:It was shown garlic had antibacterial effects on all *** Minimal Inhibitory Concentration(MIC in g/mL) of garlic towards S. aureus,***,***,*** and *** were 0.3,1.8,1.2,0.5 and 1.8,respectively. There was significant difference among the MIC of garlic on tested *** was more potent toward ***. The curry leaf solution on the other hand,did not show any zone of inhibition in all bacteria plates but adversely showed enhanced growth of those *** had shown its antibacterial effects on *** and *** clove was more potent toward *** with the MIC of 0.45 g/*** was more sensitive to clove compared to *** ***,it was more sensitive to garlic compared to clove. Conclusion:The antibacterial activity of garlic and clove crude extracts shown in our study further confirm these natural plants’potential usage in therapeutic use for oral diseases or *** could be the platform for the interested party to do research and development on it and to produce oral health products which are more affordable for lower economic income groups and with fewer side effects as seen in synthetic drug.
