Although precious transition metals such as palladium,plat.n.m,and iridium are widely used in hydrogenation reactions,the earth-abundant transition metal-catalyzed highly selective semi-hydrogenation of terminal alkynes to terminal alkenes remains poorly developed and a *** we demonstrate the excellent selective,cost-effective semi-hydrogenation of terminal alkynes via a novel graphene encapsulated ni@n/C *** graphene layer encapsulated nano-catalyst.n.@n/C could significantly avoid metal leaching and improve the stability of the *** strong interaction of nitrogen with the ni nanoparticles regulates the activity of ni towards selective semi-hydrogenation of terminal *** having un-functionalized as well as functionalized substituents,and substrates having sensitive functional groups(olefins,ket.n.s)which pose a challenge to hydrogenate,were semi-hydrogenated with excellent conversion(up to 99%)and selectivity(up to 99%)under optimized reaction conditions.

this paper highlights the quantitative estimates of plant species diversity and ecosystems of the Roht.n. Pass,which is one of the most preferred visit.n. spots by tourists in Himachal Pradesh (H.P.),India. In spite of high pressure of anthropogenic activities,the Roht.n. Pass still harbours a variety of flowering plants with economic value,including various medicinal herbs. In order to observe species diversity in different landscape elements (LSEs),ground surveys were conducted in nine unique LSEs within the elevation range between 3624 m and 4332 m. Plant community structure in each LSE was studied using stratified random sampling where a total 56 quadrats of 1 m2 in size for herbs and 7 quadrats of 25 m2 for shrubs were made. Of the total 50 plant species belonging to 15 families recorded in different random quadrats,24 species were found of medicinal value. Maximum species richness (18) and value of Shannon diversity (H'=2.2648) were observed on northeast-facing slope in Picrorhiza kurrooa dominated LSE in moist area,followed by Rheum emodi LSE (species richness = 17 and H' = 2.4141) distributed on south-facing slope. Maximum values of species richness and Shannon diversity in Rheum emodi LSE were observed between 8 ～ 12 and 1.4797 ～ 2.1911,respectively. Rhododendron anthopogon dominated LSE on northwest-facing slope was found least diverse in terms of species richness where the Simpson index of dominance (D) was 0.4205. the species were equal in abundance in P. kurrooa LSE on east-facing slope and Pleurospermum candollii LSE on north-facing slope,showing the maximum similarity in terms of species distribution between the two LSEs. Low turnover of species across common LSEs gives an idea regarding their limited distribution. Five species of threat.n.d category according to the IUCn criteria were observed in seven LSEs. the largest population of threat.n.d medicinal plants was recorded on northeast and northwest-facing slopes where population density of Bergenia

Fibrinolytic therapy for arterial or venous thrombotic disorders involves the systemic administration of thrombolytics such as streptokinase, which is associated with serious bleeding complications. With this study, we provide a proof-of-concept of photothermal thrombus ablation with gold nanorods exposed to near-infrared irradiation, both in vitro using materials generated from purified fibrinogen or plasma and in vivo in murine blood vessels. this is the first report of the application of photothermal therapy as an anti-thrombotic measure. Remarkably, the addition of streptokinase had a multimodal additive effect with regard to acceleration of photothermal lysis of thrombi even at a dose significantly below the therapeutic concentration, thus minimizing the life- threat.n.ng side effects and adverse complications. this combinatorial approach exhibits great promise for lysing pathological clots while effectively overcoming the drawbacks of exist.n. therapies.

A generalized threshold voltage model based on two-dimensional Poisson analysis has been developed for SOI/SOn *** short channel field effects,such as fringing fields,junction-induced lateral fields and substrate fields,are carefully investigated,and the related drain-induced barrier-lowering effects are incorporated in the analytical threshold voltage *** analytical model-based simulation,the threshold voltage roll-off and subthreshold slope for both structures are compared for different operational and structural parameter *** of analytical simulation are compared with the results of the AtLAS 2D physics-based simulator for verification of the analytical *** performance of an SOn MOSFEt is found to be significantly different from a conventional SOI *** short channel effects are found to be reduced in an SOn,thereby result.n. in a lower threshold voltage roll-off and a smaller subthreshold *** type of analysis is quite useful to figure out the performance improvement of SOn over SOI structures for next generation short channel MOS devices.

the persist.n.e and performance (growth promot.n. pot.n.ial) of green fluorescent protein (gfp) marked Azotobacter chroococcum strain ABR 4G were studied in sterilized and unsterilized wheat rhizospheric soil. the gfp was integrated via tn 5 transposition into A. chroococcum chromosome and the result.n. gfp marked colonies were identified by green fluorescent emission under UV light. the gfp was stably maintained in A. chroococcum and the gfp insertion had no apparent adverse effect on the growth promot.n. properties of the marked soil isolate ABR 4G. the growth promot.n. properties (nitrogen fixation, ammonia excretion, phosphate solubilization and IAA production) of the parent soil isolate and the gfp marked strain were found to be almost the same. All the quantitative wheat plant traits were significantly influenced by inoculation of A. chroococcum ABR 4G strain in sterilized and unsterilized soil. Inoculated bacterial counts increased gradually in wheat rhizosphere, reached maximum on 60 th d and declined on 80 th d. Fertility levels also affected survival of marked strain and the survival was comparable in sterilized and unsterilized soil. the growth promot.n. properties were also determined from the marked strain reisolated from wheat rhizosphere in both types of soil. We have recently cloned a pathogen inducible blast resist.n.e gene Pi-k^h from the indica rice line tetep using a positional cloning approach. In this study, we carried out structural organization analysis of the Pi-k^h locus in both indica and japonica rice lines. A 100 kb region containing 50 kb upstream and 50 kb downstream sequences flanking to the Pi-k^h locus was selected for the investigation. A total of 16 genes in indica and 15 genes in japonica were predicted and annotated in this region. the average GC cont.n. of indica and japonica genes in this region was 53.15% and 49.3%, respectiveIy. Both indica and japonica sequences were polymorphic for simple sequence repeats having mono-, di-, tri-, tetra-, and pent.n.cleotides. Sequence analysis of the specific blast resist.n. Pi-k^h allele of tetep and the susceptible Pi-k^h allele of the japonica rice line nipponbare showed differences in the number and distribution of motifs involved in phosphorylation, result.n. in the resist.n.e phenotype in tetep.

Solid amine-based adsorbents were widely studied as an alternative to liquid amine for post-combustion CO_(2)capture(PCC).However,most of the amine adsorbents suffer from low thermal stability and poor cyclic regenerability at the temperature of hot flue *** we present an amine loaded prot.n.type Y zeolite(HY)where the amines namely monoethanolamine(MEA)and ethylenediamine(ED)are chemical immobilized via ionic bond to the zeolite framework to overcome the amine degradation *** MEA and ED of 5%,10%and 20%(mass)concentration-immobilized zeolites were characterized by X-ray diffraction,Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy,and n_(2)-196℃ adsorption to confirm the structure integrity,amine functionalization,and surface area,*** determination of the amine loading was given by C,H,n elemental analysis showing that ED has successfully grafted almost twice as many amino groups as MEA within the same solvent ***_(2)adsorption capacity and thermal stability of these samples were measured using thermogravimetric *** adsorption performance was tested at the adsorption temperature of 30,60 and 90℃,respectively using pure CO_(2)while the desorption was carried out with pure n_(2)purge at the same temperature and then followed by elevated temperature at 150℃.It was found that all the amine@HY have a subst.n.ial high selectivity of CO_(2)over n_(2).the sample 20%ED@HY has the highest CO_(2)adsorption capacity of1.76 mmol·g^(-1)at 90℃ higher than the capacity on parent.n. Y zeolite(1.45 mmol·g^(-1)only).the amine@HY samples presented superior performance in cyclic thermal stability in the condition of the adsorption temperature of 90℃ and the desorption temperature of 150℃.these findings will foster the design of better adsorbents for CO_(2)capture from flue gas in post-combustion power plants.

Conventional weed management approaches are inefficient and non-suitable for integration with smart agricultural *** identification and classification of weeds can play a vital role in weed management contribut.n. to better crop *** and smart spot-spraying system's efficiency relies on the accuracy of the computer vision based detectors for aut.n.mous weed *** the present study,feasibility of deep learning based techniques(Alexnet,GoogLenet,InceptionV3,Xception)were evaluated in weed identification from RGB images of bell pepper *** models were trained with different values of epochs(10,20,30),batch sizes(16,32),and hyperparameters were t.n.d to get optimal *** overall accuracy of the selected models varied from 94.5 to 97.7%.Among the models,InceptionV3 exhibited superior performance at 30-epoch and 16-batch size with a 97.7%accuracy,98.5%precision,and 97.8%*** this Inception3 model,the type 1 error was obtained as 1.4%and type II error was 0.9%.the effectiveness of the deep learning model presents a clear path towards integrat.n. them with image-based herbicide applicators for precise weed management.
