The efficient separation of acetylene(C_(2)H_(2))from carbon dioxide(CO_(2))and CnH_(4)(n=1 and 2)to manufacture high purity C_(2)H_(2)and recover other light hydrocarbons is technologically important,while posing significant ***,we reported a new TiF62−anion(TIFSIX)pillared metal-organic framework(MOF)ZNU-5(ZNU=Zhejiang Normal University)with ultramicropores for highly selective C_(2)H_(2)capture with low adsorption heat through gate opening based molecular sieving ***-5 takes up a large amount of C_(2)H_(2)(128.6 cm^(3)/g)at 1.0 bar and 298 K but excludes CO_(2),CH_(4),and C_(2)H_(4).Such high capacity has never been realized in MOFs with molecular *** breakthrough experiments further confirmed the highly selective C_(2)H_(2)separation performance from multi-component gas mixtures.3.3,2.8,and 2.2 mmol/g of C_(2)H_(2)is captured at ZNU-5 from equimolar C_(2)H_(2)/CO_(2),C_(2)H_(2)/CO_(2)/CH_(4),and C_(2)H_(2)/CO_(2)/CH_(4)/C_(2)H_(4)mixtures,***,2.6,2.0,and 1.5 mmol/g of>98%purity C_(2)H_(2)can be recycled from the desorption *** high working capacity,low adsorption heat,as well as good recyclability,ZNU-5 is promising for C_(2)H_(2)purification.

Monolithic bulk metallic glass and glass matrix composites with a relative density above 98%were produced by processing Cu_(46)Zr_(46)Al_(8)(at.%)via selective laser melting(SLM).Their microstructures and mechanical properties were systematically examined.B2 CuZr nanocrystals(30-100 nm in diameter)are uniformly dispersed in the glassy matrix when SLM is conducted at an intermediate energy *** B2 CuZr nanocrystals nucleate the oxygen-stabilized big cube phase during a remelting *** presence of these nanocrystals increases the structural heterogeneity as indirectly revealed by mircrohardness and nanoindentation *** corresponding maps in combination with calorimetric data indicate that the glassy phase is altered by the processing *** the formation of crystals and a high overall free volume content,all additively manufactured samples fail at lower stress than the as-cast glass and without any plastic *** inherent brittleness is attributed to the presence of relatively large pores and the increased oxygen content after selective laser melting.

Pelvic ultrasound is the first-line examination for the diagnosis of ovarian cysts. When coupled with doppler, it allows the diagnosis to be directed towards the benign or malignant nature of the cyst. These benign tumors are frequent in pubertal period. We report a descriptive study in 35 patients aged between 18 and 32 years of age who received a pelvic inflammatory etiology assessment. The purpose of this study was to show the place of pelvic ultrasound in the diagnosis of ovarian cysts.

Strong evidence supports the concept of immunosurveillance and immunoediting in colorectal cancer. In particular, the density of T Cd8+ and Cd45+ lymphocyte infiltration was recently shown to have a better prognostic value than the classic tumor node metastasis classification factor. Other immune subsets, as macrophages, natural killer cells or unconventionnal lymphocytes, seem to play an important role. Induction of regulatory T cells (Tregs) or immunosuppressive molecules such as Pd-1 or CTLA-4 and downregulation of antigen-presenting molecules are major escape mechanisms to antitumor immune response. The development of these mechanisms is a major obstacle to the establishment of an effective immune response, but also to the use of immunotherapy. Although immunotherapy is not yet routinely used in colorectal cancer, we now know that most treatments used (chemotherapy and biotherapy) have immunomodulatory effects, such as induction of immunogenic cell death by chemotherapy, inhibition of immunosuppression by antiangiogenic agents, and antibody-dependent cytotoxicity induced by cetuximab. Finally, many immunotherapy strategies are being developed and tested in phase I to III clinical trials. The most promising strategies are boosting the immune system with cytokines, inhibition of immunoregulatory checkpoints, vaccination with vectorized antigens, and adoptive cell therapy. Comprehension of antitumor immune response and combination of the different approaches of immunotherapy may allow the use of effective immunotherapy for treatment of colorectal cancer in the near future.

To understand the molecular characteristics of China human rabies vaccine strains, we report the full-length genome of the aG strain and present a comprehensive analysis of this strain and almost all available lyssavirus genomes （58 strains） from GenBank （as of Jan 6, 2011）. It is generally considered that the G protein plays a predominant role in determining the pathogenicity of the virus, to this end we predicted the tertiary structure of the G protein of aG strain, CTN 181 strain and wild type strain HN 10 based on the crystal structure of Vesicular stomatitis virus （VSV） G. The predicted RABV G structure has a similar topology to VSV G and the ectodomain can be divided into 4 distinct domains dI - dIV. By mapping the characterized mutations to this structure between China vaccine strains and their close street strains, we speculate that the G303（P-H） mutations of CTN181 and HN10 causing d II 3d change may be associated with the attenuated virulence in both strains. Specifically, the two signature mutations （G165P and G231P） in the aG strain are withinβsheets, suggesting that both sites are of structural importance.

A novel Mg-based bimetal reagent(Mg/Cu)was used as an enhanced reductive system to degrade insensitivemunition 2,4-dinitroanisole(dNAN),a contaminant found in *** ofdNANwas significantly impacted by dissolved oxygen and studied in anoxic and oxic bimetal systems(i.e.,purging with N2,air,or O_(2) gas).degradation occurred through sequential nitroreduction:first one nitro group was reduced(ortho or para)to form short-lived intermediates 2-amino-4-nitroanisole or 4-amino-2-nitroanisole(2-ANAN or 4-ANAN),and then subsequent reduction of the other nitro group formed 2,4-diaminoanisole(dAAN).The nitro-amino intermediates demonstrated regioselective reduction in the ortho position to 2-ANAN;Regioselectivity was also impacted by the anoxic/oxic *** O_(2)-purging dNAN degradation rate was slightly enhanced,but most notably O_(2) significantly accelerated dAAN *** also further degraded only in the oxygenated Mg/Cu *** of dNAN byproducts to the reagent occurred regardless of anoxic/oxic condition,resulting in a partition of carbon mass between the adsorbed phase(27%-35%)and dissolved phase(59%-72%).Additional surface techniqueswere applied to investigate contaminant interaction with *** functional theory(dFT)calculations identified preferential adsorption structures for dNAN on Cu with binding through two O atoms of one or both nitro groups.X-ray absorption spectroscopy(XAS)measurements determined the oxidation state of catalyticmetal Cu and formation of a Cu-O-N bond during *** desorption ionization mass spectrometry(LdI-MS)measurements also identified intermediate 2-ANAN adsorbed to the bimetal surface.
