Cardiac aging is evident by a reduction in function which subsequently contributes to heart *** metabolic microenvironment has been identified as a hallmark of malignancy,but recent studies have shed light on its role in cardiovascular diseases(CVDs).Various metabolic pathways in cardiomyocytes and noncardiomyocytes determine cellular senescence in the aging *** alteration is a common process throughout cardiac ***,the involvement of cellular senescence in cardiac injuries,including heart failure and myocardial ischemia and infarction,has been ***,metabolic complexity among human aging hearts hinders the development of strategies that targets metabolic *** over the past decade have linked cellular senescence and function with their metabolic reprogramming pathway in cardiac aging,including autophagy,oxidative stress,epigenetic modifications,chronic inflammation,and myocyte systolic phenotype *** addition,metabolic status is involved in crucial aspects of myocardial biology,from fibrosis to hypertrophy and chronic ***,further elucidation of the metabolism involvement in cardiac degeneration is still ***,deciphering the mechanisms underlying how metabolic reprogramming impacts cardiac aging is thought to contribute to the novel interventions to protect or even restore cardiac function in aging ***,we summarize emerging concepts about metabolic landscapes of cardiac aging,with specific focuses on why metabolic profile alters during cardiac degeneration and how we could utilize the current knowledge to improve the management of cardiac aging.

Sufficient survey data are required to describe the stochastic behaviors of live ***,due to manual and on-site operation required by traditional survey methods,traditional surveys face challenges like occupant resistance,high costs,and long implementation *** study proposes a new survey method to access live load data online and *** samples are acquired from multi-source,open-access and dynamically updated data on the *** change intervals,geometrical dimensions and object quantities are obtained from transaction information,building attributes and virtual reality models on real estate websites,*** object weights are collected from commodity information on e-commerce *** integration of the aforementioned data allows for the extraction of necessary statistics to describe a live load *** proposed method is applied to a live load survey in china,covering 20040 m^(2),with around 90000 samples acquired for object weights and load *** survey results reveal that about 70%−80%of the amplitude statistics are attributable to 1/6 of the total object types.

Application of a microscopic optical potential of chiral effective field theory in (p, d) transfer reactions

The microscopic global nucleon–nucleus optical model potential(OMP)proposed by Whitehead,Lim,and Holt,the WLH potential(Whitehead et al.,Phys Rev Lett 127:182502,2021),which was constructed in the framework of many-body per-turbation theory with state-of-the-art nuclear interactions from chiral effective field theory(EFT),was tested with(p,d)transfer reactions calculated using adiabatic wave *** target nuclei included both stable and unstable nuclei,and the incident energies reached 200 *** results were compared with experimental data and predictions using the phenomenological global optical potential of Koning and Delaroche,the KD02 ***,we found that the micro-scopic WLH potential described the(p,d)reaction angular distributions similarly to the phenomenological KD02 potential;however,the former was slightly better than the latter for radioactive *** average,the obtained spectroscopic factors(SFs)using both microscopic and phenomenological potentials were similar when the incident energies were below approxi-mately 120 ***,their difference tended to increase at higher incident energies,which was particularly apparent for the doubly magic target nucleus 40Ca.

The chinese Meridian Project(CMP)is a major national science and technology infrastructure constructed in two *** first phase of the CMP has been operating for more than a solar *** 2022 to 2023,utilizing the monitoring data collected by the CMP,scientists made major breakthroughs in fields of ionosphere,middle and upper atmosphere,and coupling between *** construction of the second phase of the CMP is nearly finished,and the project is expected to operate as a whole in 2025 after national acceptance of the second *** whole project was built in an architecture of so-called“One Chain,Three Networks and Four Focuses”.It is promising to make a three-dimensional observation of the whole solar-terrestrial *** science community is looking forward to the great contribution of the CMP to space weather and space physics research.

Leaching kinetics and permeability of polyethyleneimine added ammonium sulfate on weathered crust elution-deposited rare earth ores

At present,in-situ leaching of weathered crust elution-deposited rare earth ores(WCE-DREOs) encounter with problems such as long leaching cycles,slow infiltration rate and low product *** order to solve the above problems,the conventional leaching agent ammonium sulfate((NH_(4))_(2)SO_(4)) was compounded with polymeric surfactant polyethyleneimine(PEI) to form a composite leaching *** effects of leaching temperature,PEI *** rate and pH on leaching kinetics and permeability of rare earths(RE) and aluminum(AI) in orebody were *** is found that with temperature increasing,the time required to reach leaching equilibrium for both RE and Al is shortened,the apparent activation energies of RE and AI are 14.79 and 13.45 kJ/mol,respectively,and the leaching processes are in accordance with the outer diffusion control,When the concentrations of(NH_(4))_(2)SO_(4) and PEI in the composite leaching agent are 2.0 wt% and 0.4 wt%;the time required to reach leaching equilibrium for RE and AI is about 50% shorter than that using(NH_(4))_(2)SO_(4) alone,and the leaching efficiencies of RE are slightly higher than that of *** increasing the temperature and flow rate of the composite leaching agent can improve the leaching efficiencies of RE and Al,but pH has neglected effects on the leaching efficiencies of *** PEI concentrations below 0,4 wt%, the addition of PEI promotes the leaching of RE and *** column leaching studies of the WCE-DREO,the addition of 0.4 wt% PEI to the traditional leaching agent(NH_(4))_(2)SO_(4) has no impact on the leaching efficiencies of ***,it can significantly increase the infiltration rate of WCE-DREO,shortening the leaching time per 10 mL effluent from about 30 min for(NH_(4))_(2)SO_(4) leaching system to 20 min for the composite leaching *** leaching time is shortened by one-third,and the leaching cost is reduced,which can provide theoretical guidance for the development and commercial implementa

Enhancement of Ising superconductivity in monolayer NbSe_(2) via surface fluorination

Recently discovered Ising superconductors have garnered considerable interest due to their anomalously large in-plane upper critical fields(B_(c2)). However, the requisite strong spin-orbital coupling in the Ising pairing mechanism generally renders these superconductors heavy-element dominant with notably low superconducting transition temperatures(Tc). Here, based on the Migdal-Eliashberg theory and the mean-field Bogoliubov-de Gennes Hamiltonian, we demonstrate a significant enhancement of Ising superconductivity in monolayer NbSe_(2) through surface fluorination, as evidenced by concomitant improvements in Tcand Bc_(2). This enhancement arises from three predominant factors. Firstly, fluorine atoms symmetrically and stably adhere to both sides of the monolayer NbSe_(2), thereby maintaining the out-of-plane mirror symmetry and locking carrier spins ***, fluorination suppresses the charge density wave in monolayer NbSe_(2) and induces a van Hove singularity in the vicinity of the Fermi level, leading to a marked increase in the number of carriers and, consequently, strengthening the electron-phonon coupling(EPC). Lastly, the appearance of fluorine-related, low-frequency phonon modes further augments the EPC. Our findings suggest a promising avenue to elevate Tcin two-dimensional Ising superconductors without compromising their Ising pairing.

Due to the easy coarsening caused by poor thermal stability,the verified annealing-induced hardening in nanograined metals can only maintain at a relatively low-temperature *** this study,a nanolam-inated(CrCoNi)_(97.4)Al_(0.8)Ti_(1.8)medium-entropy alloy with an average lamellae thickness of∼20 nm embedded by thinner nanotwins was fabricated by severe cold rolling to achieve superior thermal *** with the conventional nanotwinned CrCoNi with nanotwins inside ultra-fined grains,the hier-archical nanolaminated-nanotwinned(CrCoNi)_(97.4)Al_(0.8)Ti_(1.8) exhibits a significant annealing-induced hard-ening effect,i.e.,hardness increasing from∼250 HV in the original specimen to∼500 HV in the cold-rolled status and finally∼630 HV after annealing at 600℃for 1 *** microstructure characterizations reveal that the reduced dislocation density and formation of L1_(2)ordered domain are mainly responsible for such hardening effect,which is facilitated by the effectively suppressed coarsening with annealing temperature,i.e.,slow detwinning process and well-retained low-angle nanolamellar *** coarsening mechanisms from the cold-rolled nanolamellae to the fully recrystallized micro-equiaxed structures under the annealing temperatures ranging from 400 to 800℃ were also elucidated by atomic observations.

Transient long-range distance measurement by a Vernier spectral interferometry

Rapid and long-range distance measurements are essential in various industrial and scientific applications,and among them,the dual-comb ranging system attracts great attention due to its high ***,the tem-poral asynchronous sampling results in the tradeoff between frame rate and ranging precision,and the non-ambiguity range(NAR)is also limited by the comb cycle,which hinders the further advancement of the dual-comb ranging *** this constraint,we introduce a Vernier spectral interferometry to improve the frame rate and NAR of the ranging ***,leveraging the dispersive time-stretch technology,the dual-comb interferometry becomes spectral ***,the asynchronous time step is unlimited,and the frame rate is improved to 100 ***,dual-wavelength bands are introduced to implement a Vernier spectral interferometry,whose NAR is enlarged from 1.5 m to 1.5 ***,this fast and long-range system also demonstrated high precision,with a 22.91-nm Allan deviation over 10-ms averaging *** a result,the proposed Vernier spectral interferometry ranging system is promising for diverse applications that necessitate rapid and extensive distance measurement.
