Acute respiratory distress syndrome(ARDS)is a syndrome characterized by significant lung edema,impaired permeability of lung microvascular endothelial cells with the mal-expression of aquaporins(AQPs).In this study,a two-hit porcine model of ARDS induced by smoking and methicillinresistant Staphylococcus aureus(MRSA)was developed,we investigate the AQPs expression and the influence of Ulinastatin(UTI)to ***-nine healthy male domestic pigs aged 8–10 weeks and weighing 30±2 kg were used for the *** was maintained through continuous intravenous infusion of pentobarbital[8 mg/(kg∙h)].A 5-Fr PiCCO catheter(Pulsiocath PV2015L20;Pulsion Medical Systems,Munich,Germany)and a central venous catheter was inserted for hemodynamic monitoring,including mean arterial pressure(MAP),cardiac index(CI),systemic vascular resistance index(SVRI)and extravascular lung water index(ELWI).

In this study,a label-free,portable and reproducible immunochip based on quartz crystal microbalance(QCM)was developed for the qualitative detection ofβ-lactoglobulin(β-LG),an allergen,in milk *** parameters in the fabrication and regeneration procedure such as pH of the coupling microenvironment,amount of anti-β-LG antibody and regeneration reagent were optimized in *** optimal conditions,the proposed QCM immunochip exhibited good recognition of β-LG,with a calibration curve of ΔF=12.877 C_(β-LG)^(0.4809)(R^(2)=0.9982)and limit of detection of 0.04μg/***,this portable QCM immunochip had good stability,high specificity,and no obvious cross-reaction to three other milk proteins(α-casein,α-lactalbumin,and lactoferrin).It could compete a qualitative measurement within5 min,and could be reused at least ten *** the β-LG analysis of actual milk samples,the developed QCM immunochip yielded reliable and accurate results,which correlated strongly with those from the standard HPLC method(R^(2)=0.9969).Thus,the portable,stable,and reproducible QCM immunochip developed in this study allowed the rapid,cost-effectively and sensitively measure theβ-LG in milk products.

Glaciers have retreated and shrunk in High Mountain Asia since the mid-20th century because of global warming,leading to glacier instability and hazardous iceesnow ***,the complex relationship between iceesnow avalanches and factors such as climate and potential triggers are difficult to understand because of the lack of observational ***,we addressed iceesnow avalanches on the Annapurna Ⅱ glacier in Nepal,Central *** constructed an iceesnow avalanche history using long-term multi-source remote sensing images(1988-2021)and mapped the velocity fields of glaciers using cross-correlation analysis on SAR and optical ***,we investigated the impact of climate change and earthquakes on the frequency and size of iceesnow *** results demonstrate that the frequency of iceesnow avalanches has increased from 10 in 1988 to 27 in 2020,but the average area of iceesnow avalanche deposits has decreased by approximately 70%,from 3.4×10^(5) m^(2) in 1988 to 1.2×10^(5) m^(2) in *** evolutionary characteristic of ice avalanches is linked to the impact of glacier retreat(reduction in ice material supply)and increased activity under climate *** glacier movement velocity controls the size of iceesnow avalanches and can be set as an indicator for iceesnow avalanche *** the Annapurna Ⅱ glacier,an iceesnow avalanche occurred when the glacier velocities were greater than 1.5 m d^(-1).These results offer insights into iceesnow avalanche risk assessment and prediction in high-mountain areas,particularly in regions characterised by dense glacier distribution.

Direct electrochemical conversion of NO to NH_(3)has attracted widespread interest as a green and sustainable strategy for both ammonia synthesis and nitric oxide ***,designing efficient catalysts remains challenging due to the complex reaction mechanism and competing side ***-atom alloy(SAA)catalysts,which increase the atomic efficiency and the chance to tailor the electronic properties of the active center,have become a frontier in this ***,we performed a systematic screening of transition metal-doped Au SAAs(denoted as TM/Au,TM=Sc,Ti,V,Cr,Mn,Fe,Co,Ni,Cu,Zn,Ru,Rh,Pd,Ag and Pt)to find potential catalysts for electrochemical NO reduction reaction(NORR)to NH_(3).By employing a four-step screening strategy based on density functional theory(DFT)calculations,Zn/Au SAA has been identified as a promising NORR catalyst due to its superior structural stability,reaction activity and NH_(3)*** electron-involved steps on Zn/Au are thermodynamically spontaneous,which results in a positive limiting potential(U_(L))of 0.15 *** preferred NO affinity compared to H adatom demonstrates that Zn/Au can effectively suppress the hydrogen evolution ***-learning(ML)investigations were adopted to address the uncertainty between the physicochemical properties of SAAs and the NORR *** applied an extreme gradient boosting regression(XGBR)algorithm to predict the limiting potentials in terms of the intrinsic features of the reaction *** coefficient of determination(R^(2))is 0.97 for the training set and 0.96 for the test *** electronic structure an alysis combined with a compressed-sensing data-an alytics approach further quantitatively verifies the coeffect of d-band center,charge transfer and the radius of doped TM atoms,i.e.,features with the highest level of importance determined by the XGBR *** work provides a theoretical understanding of the complex NORR to NH_(3)mechanisms and sheds light on the ra

Through carrying out the high-temperature tensile experiments on an as-extruded Mg-11wt%Y alloy at 350℃,400℃,450℃,500℃and 550℃,the mechanical behavior and fracture mechanisms at elevated temperatures are investigated and *** results show that with the increase of temperature,the yield strength and ultimate tensile strength of the alloy increase at first and then decrease,while that the elongation ratio decreases firstly and then *** the sample being tested at 350℃,the values of yield strength,ultimate tensile strength and the elongation ratio are 188 MPa,266 MPa and 11%,*** 400℃,the yield strength and ultimate tensile strength reach the maximum values of,respectively,198 MPa and 277 MPa,but the elongation ratio is the lowest and its value is only 8%.When the applied temperature is increased to 550℃,the values of yield strength and ultimate tensile strength,respectively,decrease to 140 MPa and 192 MPa and the elongation ratio increases to 38%.Failure analysis demonstrates that the fracture surfaces of different samples are mainly composed of plastic dimples and exhibit the typical characteristic of ductile *** observation to the fracture side surfaces indicates that at the temperatures of 350℃and 400℃,microcracks mainly initiate in the interior of Mg_(24)Y_(5)*** the temperatures are 450℃,500℃and 550℃,the cracks preferentially initiate at the Mg_(24)Y_(5)/α-Mg interfaces.

Cold production is a challenge in the case of heavy oil because of its high viscosity and poor fluidity in reservoir ***-cosolvent-polymer flooding is a type of microemulsion flooding with low costs and possible potential for heavy oil ***,the addition of polymer may cause problems with injection in the case of highly viscous ***,in this study the feasibility of alkali-cosolvent(AC)flooding in heavy oil reservoirs was investigated via several groups of *** interfacial tension between various AC formulations and heavy crude oil was measured to select appropriate *** behavior tests were performed to determine the most appropriate formulation and conditions for the generation of a *** flooding experiments were carried out to investigate the displacement efficiency of the selected Ac *** results showed that the interfacial tension between an AC formulation and heavy oil could be reduced to below 1o-3 mN/m but differed greatly between different types of cosolvent.A butanol random polyether series displayed good performance in reducing the water-oil interfacial tension,which made it possible to form a Type Il microemulsion in reservoir *** to the results of the phase behavior tests,the optimal salinity for different formulations with four cosolvent concentrations(0.5 wt%,1 wt%,2 wt%,and 3 wt%)was 4000,8000,14000,and 20000 ppm,*** results of rheological measurements showed that Type Ill microemulsion had a viscosity that was ten times that of *** results of sandpack flooding experiments showed that,in comparison with waterflooding,the injection of a certain Ac formulation slug could reduce the injection *** pressure gradient during waterflooding and AC flooding was around 870 and 30-57 kPa/m,*** the addition of an AC slug,the displacement efficiency was 30%-50%higher than in the case of waterflooding.
