Chronic inflammation is known to increase the risk of gastrointestinal cancers(GICs),the common solid tumors *** lesions,such as chronic atrophic inflammation and ulcers,are related to inflammatory responses in vivo and likely to occur in hyperplasia and ***,due to the lack of effective therapeutic targets,the prognosis of patients with GICs is still ***,it is found that six transmembrane epithelial antigens of the prostate(STEAPs),a group of metal reductases,are significantly associated with the progression of malignancies,playing a crucial role in systemic metabolic homeostasis and inflammatory *** structure and functions of STEAPs suggest that they are closely related to intracellular oxidative stress,responding to inflammatory *** the imbalance status of abnormal oxidative stress,STEAP members are involved in cell transformation and the development of GICs by inhibiting or activating inflammatory *** review focuses on STEAPs in GICs along with exploring their potential molecular regulatory mechanisms,with an aim to provide a theoretical basis for diagnosis and treatment strategies for patients suffering from these types of cancers.

Combining photodynamic therapy(PDT)with chemodynamic therapy(CDT)has been proven to be a promising strategy to improve the treatment efficiency of cancer,because of the synergistic therapeutic effect arising between the two ***,we report an inorganic nanoagent based on ternary NiCoTi-layered double hydroxide(NiCoTi-LDH)nanosheets to realize highly efficient photodynamic/chemodynamic synergistic *** NiCoTi-LDH nanosheets exhibit oxygen vacancy-promoted electron-hole separation and photogenerated holeinduced O_(2)-independent reactive oxygen species(ROS)generation under acidic circumstances,realizing in situ pH-responsive ***,due to the effective conversion between Co^(3+)and Co^(2+)caused by photogenerated electrons,the NiCoTi-LDH nanosheets catalyze the release of hydroxyl radicals(-OH)from H_(2)O_(2)through Fenton reactions,resulting in *** irradiation enhances the catalyzed ability of the NiCoTi-LDH nanosheets to promote the ROS generation,resulting in a better performance than TiO_(2)nanoparticles at pH *** vitro and in vivo experimental results show conclusively that NiCoTi-LDH nanosheets plus irradiation lead to efficient cell apoptosis and significant inhibition of tumor *** study reports a new pH-responsive inorganic nanoagent with oxygen vacancy-promoted photodynamic/chemodynamic synergistic performance,offering a potentially appealing clinical strategy for selective tumor elimination.

Background: Hylurgus ligniperda(Fabricius) is native to Europe but has established populations in many countries and regions. H. ligniperda mainly infests Pinus species, and can cause severe weakness and even death of the host through its boring activity;it can also be a vector of various pathogenic fungi. This study was conducted to investigate the environmental variables limiting the distribution of H. ligniperda and the change trend of its suitable areas under climate ***: We used a maximum entropy model to predict the potential geographical distribution of H. ligniperda on a global scale under near current and future climatic scenarios using its occurrence data and environmental variables. The result shows that the areas surrounding the Mediterranean region, the eastern coastal areas of Asia, and the southeastern part of Oceania are highly suitable for H. ligniperda. The environmental variables with the greatest effect on the distribution of H. ligniperda were determined using the jackknife method and Pearson’s correlation analysis and included the monthly average maximum temperature in April, precipitation of driest quarter, the monthly average minimum temperature in December, precipitation of coldest quarter, mean temperature of driest quarter and mean diurnal ***: Excessive precipitation in winter and low temperatures in spring had a great effect on the distribution of H. ligniperda. The potential geographical distribution of H. ligniperda was predicted to change under future climatic conditions compared with near current climate conditions. Highly suitable areas, moderately suitable areas and low suitable areas were predicted to increase by 59.99%, 44.43% and 22.92%, respectively, under the2081–2100 ssp245 scenario.

Monofluoroalkenes are important and versatile privileged components in pharmacologically relevant ***,we report a method for the selective construction of these compounds in a diversity-oriented fashion through regiodivergent cross-coupling of gem-difluorocyclopropanes with allylboronates by employing a palladium catalyst with two different ligands,in which gem-difluorocyclopropanes were used as allyl electrophiles by C—C and C—F bond *** the presence of 2-biphenylyl(diphenyl)phosphine as ligand,the linear-selective allyl–allyl bond formation is highly obtained,while utilizing the sterically hindered BrettPhos(dicyclohexyl[3,6-dimethoxy-2',4',6'-tris(1-methylethyl)[1,1'-biphenyl]-2-yl]phosphine)as the ligand favors the generation of the branched-selective *** and computational studies investigated the key steps of the cross-coupling reactions,revealing the origin of the ligand-controlled regiodivergence.

In this study,the strong coupling constants of vertices BBΥ,BB^(∗)Υ,B^(∗)B^(∗)Υ,BB^(∗)ηb,and B^(∗)B^(∗)ηb are analyzed in the framework of QCD sum *** possible off-shell cases and the contributions of vacuum condensate terms including,,,,andare *** momentum dependent strong coupling constants are first calculated and then fitted into the analytical function g(Q^(2)),which is extrapolated to time-like regions to obtain the final values of strong coupling *** final results are gBBΥ=40.67+7.55−4.20,gBB^(∗)Υ=11.58+2.19−1.09 GeV−1,gB^(∗)B^(∗)Υ=57.02+5.32−5.31,gBB^(∗)ηb=23.39+4.74−2.30,and gB^(∗)B^(∗)ηb=12.49+2.12−1.35 GeV−*** strong coupling constants are important input parameters that reflect the dynamic properties of the interactions among the mesons and quarkonia.

Advanced treatment of wet-spun acrylic fiber manufacturing wastewater using three-dimensional electrochemical oxidation

A three-dimensional electrochemical oxidation （3D-EC） reactor with introduction of activated carbon （AC） as particle micro-electrodes was apphed for the advanced treatment of secondary wastewater effluent of a wet-spun acrylic fiber manufacturing plant. Under the optimized conditions （current density of 500 A/m2, circulation rate of 5 mL/min, AC dosage of 50 g, and chloride concentration of 1.0 g/L）, the average removal efficiencies of chemical oxygen demand （CODer）, NH3-N, total organic carbon （TOC）, and ultraviolet absorption at 254 nm （UV2s4） of the 3D-EC reactor were 64.5%, 60.8%, 46.4%, and 64.8%, respectively; while the corresponding effluent concentrations of CODcr, NH3-N, TOC, and UV2s4 were 76.6, 20.1, and 42.5 mg/L, and 0.08 Abs/cm, respectively. The effluent concentration of CODer was less than 100 mg/L, which showed that the treated wastewater satisfied the demand of the integrated wastewater discharge standard （GB 8978-1996）. The 3D-EC process remarkably improved the treatment efficiencies with synergistic effects for CODer, NH3-N, TOC, and UV2s4 during the stable stage of 44.5%, 38.8%, 27.2%, and 10.9%, respectively, as compared with the sum of the efficiencies of a two-dimensional electrochemical oxidation （2D-EC） reactor and an AC adsorption process, which was ascribed to the numerous micro-electrodes of AC in the 3D-EC reactor. Gas chromatography mass spectrometry （GC-MS） analysis revealed that electro- chemical treatment did not generate more toxic organics, and it was proved that the increase in acute biotoxicity was caused primarily by the production of free chlorine.
