It is critical for fabricating flexible biosensors with both high sensitivity and good selectivity to realize real-time monitoring superoxide anion(O_(2)^(·−)),a specific reactive oxygen species that plays critical roles in various biological *** work delicately designs a Mn_(3)(PO_(4))_(2)/MXene heterostructured biomimetic enzyme by assembling two-dimensional(2-D)Mn_(3)(PO_(4))_(2) nanosheets with biomimetic activity and 2-D MXene nanosheets with high conductivity and abundant functional *** 2-D nature of the two components with strong interfacial interaction synergistically enables the heterostructure an excellent flexibility with retained 100%of the response when to reach a bending angle up to 180°,and 96%of the response after 100 bending/relaxing *** is found that the surface charge state of the heterostructure promotes the adsorption of O_(2)^(·−),while the high-energy active site improves electrochemical oxidation of O_(2)^(·−).The Mn_(3)(PO_(4))_(2)/MXene as a sensing platform towards O2•−achieves a high sensitivity of 64.93µA·µM^(−1)·cm^(−2),a wide detection range of 5.75 nM to 25.93µM,and a low detection limit of 1.63 ***,the flexible heterostructured sensing platform realizes real-time monitoring of O_(2)^(·−)in live cell assays,offering a promising flexible biosensor towards exploring various biological processes.

AIM： To investigate the dynamic functional and ultrastructural changes of gastric parietal cells induced by water immersion-restraint stress （WRS） in ***： WRS model of Sprague-Dawley （SD） rats was established. Fifty-six male SD rats were randomly divided into control group, stress group and post-stress group. The stress group was divided into 1, 2 and 4 h stress subgroups. The post-stress group was divided into 24, 48 and 72 h subgroups. The pH value of gastric juice, ulcer index （UI） of gastric mucosa and H^＋, K^＋- ATPase activity of gastric parietal cells were measured. Ultrastructural change of parietal cells was observed under transmission electron microscope （TEM）.RESULTS： The pH value of gastric juice decreased time-dependently in stress group and increased in post-stress group. The H^＋, K^＋-ATPase activity of gastric parietal cells and the UI of gastric mucosa increased time-dependently in stress group and decreased in poststress group. Compared to control group, the pH value decreased remarkably （P = 0.0001）, the UI and H^＋, K^＋- ATPase activity increased significantly （P = 0.0001, P = 0.0174） in 4 h stress subgroup. UI was positively related with stress time （r = 0.9876, P 〈 0.01） but negatively with pH value （r = -0.8724, P 〈 0.05）. The parietal cells became active in stress group, especially in 4 h stress subgroup, in which plenty of intracellular canalicular and mitochondria were observed under TEM. In post-stress group, the parietal cells recovered to resting ***： The acid secretion of parietal cells is consistent with their ultrastructural changes during the development and healing of stress ulcer induced by WRS and the degree of gastric mucosal lesions, suggesting gastric acid play an important role in the development of stress ulcer and is closely related with the recovery of gastric mucosal lesions induced by WRS.

Posterior Selective Thoracic Fusion in Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis Patients:a Comparison of All Pedicle Screws versus Hybrid Instrumentation

Objective To analyze the influence of segmental pedicle screws versus hybrid instrumentation on the correction results in adolescent idiopathic scoliosis patients undergoing posterior selective thoracic fusion. Methods By reviewing the medical records and roentgenograms of adolescent idiopathic scoliosis patients who underwent selective thoracic fusion from February 2000 to January 2007 in our hospital, the patients were divided into 2 groups according to different instrumentation fashions： Group A was hook-screw-rod （hybrid） internal fixation type, Group B was screw-rod （all pedicle screws） internal fixation type, and the screws were used in every segment on the concave side of the thoracic curve. The parameters of the scoliosis were measured and the correction results were analyzed. Results Totally, 48 patients （7 males, 41 females） were included, with an average age of 14.4 years old and a mean follow-up time of 12.3 months. Thirty and 18 patients were assigned to group A and group B, respectively. The mean preoperative coronal Cobb angles of the thoracic curve were 48.8° and 47.4°, respectively. After surgery, they were corrected to 13.7° and 6.8°, respectively. At final follow-up, they were 17.0° and 9.5°, with an average correction rate of 64.6% and 79.0%, respectively, and the correction rate of group B was significantly higher than that of group A （P=0.003）. The mean preoperative coronal Cobb angles of the lumbar curve were 32.6° and 35.2°, respectively. After surgery, they were corrected to 8.6° and 8.3°, respectively. At final follow-up, they were 10.3° and 11.1°, with an average correction rate of 66.8% and 69.9%, respectively, and the correction rate of group B was significantly higher than that of group A （P=0.003）. The correction loss of the thoracic curve and lumbar curve in the 2 groups were 3.1° and 1.8°, 2.4° and 2.4°, respectively. No significant difference was noted （both P〉0.05）. The internal oxide precipitates were supposed to be spherical in Wagner’s original theory,while the fol-lowing research demonstrated that this assumption is an exception rather than the truth,which caused deviations in the application of this *** this study,the internal oxide precipitates have a needle-like and a near-spherical morphology in a Fe-9Cr ferritic and a Fe-17Cr-9Ni austenitic steels after expo-sure to 600℃ deaerated steam for 600 h,*** nano-to-atomic scale characterization shows that the morphology of the internal oxide precipitates is controlled by the structure of the interfaces be-tween the metal matrix and the internal oxide,while the interface structure is mainly affected by the crystallographic structure of the two phases and their orientation *** addition,the internal oxide precipitation-induced volume expansion and the outward Fe diffusion-induced volume shrink oc-cur simultaneously during the oxidation *** stress status in the internal oxidation zone(IOZ)is the competing result of the two factors,which could dynamically affect the high-temperature *** results obtained in this study suggest that there is potential to control the distribution,morphology,and interface structure of the internal oxide precipitates by selecting appropriate base metal and internal oxide-forming element,in order to obtain better high-temperature oxidation-resistant materials.

BACKGROUND:Lymphoepithelial cyst of the pancreas is a rare lesion of undetermined pathogenesis that had been documented almost exclusively in males. The literature on this entity is limited to reports of single or a small number of cases.METHODS:The case we described herein was compared with a total of 36 cases reported elsewhere.RESULTS:The 37 cases of lymphoepithelial cyst of the pancreas including our case were reviewed. Lymphoepithelial cysts have uniform and distinctive clinicopathologic features. Approximately 46% of the reported cases were asymptomatic with the lesions found incidentally, and their symptoms were non-specific.CONCLUSIONS:Lymphoepithelial cyst is a rare benign lesion of the pancreas. Fine-needle aspiration biopsy (FNAB) is a rapid and reliable technique that can be used as the first diagnostic step in cases of cystic lesions of the pancreas.
