The policy of encouraging agriculture and development for mass tourism has led to environmental problems in Cameron Highlands,*** development and land clearing have significantly altered the land cover of Cameron Highlands for the past 30 *** highlands areas are prone to landslides and soil erosion which then contributed to the main water pollution issues in the network of river system,sedimentation and *** continuous trend of river water quality deterioration in Cameron Highlands has raised the issues for discussion in this review *** purpose of this review is to briefly summarize the land use change,agriculture practices,agro-tourism,and agriculture policy and management toward water quality of the river system network in Cameron Highlands specifically in the downtown where most of the development and agriculture activities are concentrated.A rigorous review has been done on the existing literature to determine the relationship between land use change and agriculture practices toward river water quality in Cameron Highlands from 2001 to *** total number of reviewed papers was *** outcomes established from previous researchers have highlighted factors such as soil erosion,landslides,agriculture activities,urbanization,and unplanned development associated with land use change have significantly influenced the river water quality in the highland *** land use changes without proper development plan and law enforcement may critically threaten the sustainability of river network in the highlands area.

Fractional Analysis of Thin Film Flow of Non-Newtonian Fluid

Modeling and analysis of thin film flow with respect to magneto hydro dynamical effect has been an important theme in the field of fluid dynamics,due to its vast industrial *** analysis involves studying the behavior and response of governing equations on the basis of various parameters such as thickness of the film,film surface profile,shear stress,liquid velocity,volumetric flux,vorticity,gravity,viscosity among others,along with different boundary *** this article,we extend this analysis in fractional space using a homotopy based scheme,considering the case of a Non-Newtonian Pseudo-Plastic fluid for lifting and drainage on a vertical *** applying similarity transformations,the given problems are reduced to highly non-linear and inhomogeneous ordinary differential ***,fractional differential equations are obtained using basic definitions of fractional *** Homotopy Perturbation Method(HPM),along with fractional calculus is used for obtaining approximate *** quantities such as the velocity profile,volume flux and average velocity respectively for lift and drainage cases have been *** the best of our knowledge,the given problems have not been attempted before in fractional *** and convergence of the obtained solutions are confirmed by finding residual *** a physical perspective,a comprehensive study of the effects of various parameters on the velocity profile is also *** reveals that Stokes number St,non-Newtonian parameterand magnetic parameter M have inverse relationship with fluid velocity in lifting *** the drainage case,Stokes number St and non-Newtonian parameterhave direct relationship with fluid velocity,but magnetic parameter M shows inverse relationship with *** investigation also shows that the fractional parameterhas direct relationship with the fluid velocity in lifting case,while it has inverse relationship with velocity in the

Performance analysis of a random ARQ initialized cooperative communication protocol in shadowed Nakagami-m wireless channel

In this paper, we develop and analyze an energy efficient ARQ （automatic repeat request） initialized transmit diversity protocol for cooperative *** access control （MAC） layer packet retransmission limit （similar to aShortRetryLimit or aLongRetryLimit [802.11-1997]） has been used as an actuator for transmit cooperative diversity *** take the channel state information （CSI） as a function of retransmission tries and the number of retransmission tries is modeled as a random *** close to the source node are chosen for the transmit *** form expressions are obtained for symbol error rate （SER）, outage capacity and outage probability for the proposed scheme in shadowed fading *** cooperative scheme achieves lower signal-to-noise ratio （SNR）, stumpy outage probability, higher bandwidth, and transmit energy efficiencies for desired average symbol error rate （ASER） than the preceding ARQ based cooperative ***, the results of computer simulations are included to demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed scheme and to verify the accuracy of the analytical expressions.

Optimization of Sonication Process for High Newcastle Disease Virus （NDV） Titer

Cell disruption focuses on obtaining a desired bioproduct within a cell, and it is the cell wall that must be disrupted to allow access to the contents of the cell. In animal cells, the plasma membrane is the only barrier separating cell contents from the environment. Sound waves from sonication, a mechanical technique for cell disintegration, have been used to disrupt as well as to aggregate cells as a step towards purification of a desired bioproduct. In the present study, an improved sonication process for the high yield of Newcastle disease virus （NDV） propagated in tissue culture was described. DF-I cell was cultured in 25cm^2 T flask. When cells were about 80% confluent, a lentogenic strain of NDV （F strain） was used to infect the cell monolayer. With evident cytopathic effect, cells were subjected to cycles of freeze-thaw before sonicating with varying combinations of amplitude, temperature and time. Cells were sonicated using a water bath Sonicator, Jac Ultrasonic 1505 JEIO TECH 4 KHz. From ANOVA analysis, a significant interaction between sonication time and amplitude was observed. This also corresponds to the highest F value observed.

In this paper, synthesis and anticancer activities of morpholine hydrazones scaffold（1-17） thoroughly studied. Small series of morpholine hydrazones synthesized by treating 5-morpholinothiophene-2-carbaldehyde with different aryl hydrazides to form morpholine hydrazones scaffold（1-17）. The in vitro anticancer potential of all these compounds was checked against human cancer cell lines like Hep G2（human hepatocellular liver carcinoma） and MCF-7（human breast adenocarcinoma）. Analogs 13 had similar substantial cytotoxic effects towards Hep G2 with IC_（50） value 6.31±1.03μmmol/L when compared with the standard Doxorubicin（IC_（50）value 6.00±0.80μmmol/L）; while compounds 5,8 and 9 showed potent cytotoxicity against MCF-7 with IC_（50） value 7.08±0.42μmmol/L, 1.26±0.34μmmol/L and11.22±0.22μmmol/L respectively when compared with the standard Tamoxifen（IC_（50）= 11.00±0.40μmol/L）. Molecular docking studies also performed to understand the binding interaction.
