Acute lymphoblastic leukemia(ALL)is a malignancy of bone marrow lymphoid *** effective treatments,the causes of its progression or recurrence are still *** prognostic biomarkers is needed for early diagnosis and more effective *** study was performed to identify long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs)involved in ALL progression by constructing a competitive endogenous RNA(ceRNA)*** lncRNAs may serve as potential new biomarkers in the development of *** GSE67684 dataset identiﬁed changes in lncRNAs and mRNAs involved in ALL *** from this study were re-analyzed,and probes related to lncRNAs were ***,miRTarBase,and miRcode databases were used to identify microRNAs(miRNAs)related to the discovered genes and *** ceRNA network was constructed,and the candidate lncRNAs were ***,the results were validated with reverse transcription quantitative real-time PCR(RT-qPCR).The ceRNA network outcomes demonstrated that the top lncRNAs associated with altered mRNAs in ALL are IRF1-AS1,MCM3AP-AS1,TRAF3IP2-AS1,HOTAIRM1,CRNDE,and *** of the subnets linked to MCM3AP-AS1,TRAF3IP2-AS1,and IRF1-AS1 indicated that these lncRNAs were considerably related to pathways associated with inﬂammation,metastasis,and *** expression levels of IRF1-AS1,MCM3AP-AS1,TRAF3IP2-AS1,CRNDE,and TUG1 were found in ALL samples compared to *** expression of MCM3AP-AS1,TRAF3IP2-AS1,and IRF1-AS1 is signiﬁcantly elevated during the progression of ALL,playing an oncogenic *** to their role in the main cancer pathways,lncRNAs could be suitable therapeutic and diagnostic targets in ALL.

Haptic rendering is referred to as an approach for complementing graphical model of the virtual object with mechanics- based properties. As a result, when the user interacts with the virtual object through a haptic device, the object can graphically deflect or deform following laws of mechanics. In addition, the user is able to feel the resulting interaction force when interacting with the virtual object. This paper presents a study of defining the levels-of-detail (LOD) in point-based computational mechanics for haptic rendering of objects. The approach uses the description of object as a set of sampled points. In comparison with the finite element method (FEM), point-based approach does not rely on any predefined mesh representation and depends on the point representation of the volume of the object. Different from solving the governing equations of motion representing the entire object based on pre-defined mesh representation which is used in FEM, in point-based modeling approach, the number of points involved in the computation of displacement/deformation can be adaptively defined during the solution cycle. This frame work can offer the implementation of the notion for levels-of-detail techniques for which can be used to tune the haptic rendering environment for in- creased realism and computational efficiency. This paper presents some initial experimental studies in implementing LOD in such environment.

The larger the size of the data, structured or unstructured, the harder to understand and make use of it. One of the fundamentals to machine learning is feature selection. Feature selection, by reducing the number of irrelevant/redundant features, dramatically reduces the run time of a learning algorithm and leads to a more general concept. In this paper, realization of feature selection through a neural network based algorithm, with the aid of a topology optimizer genetic algorithm, is investigated. We have utilized NeuroEvolution of Augmenting Topologies (NEAT) to select a subset of features with the most relevant connection to the target concept. Discovery and improvement of solutions are two main goals of machine learning, however, the accuracy of these varies depends on dimensions of problem space. Although feature selection methods can help to improve this accuracy, complexity of problem can also affect their performance. Artificialneural networks are proven effective in feature elimination, but as a consequence of fixed topology of most neural networks, it loses accuracy when the number of local minimas is considerable in the problem. To minimize this drawback, topology of neural network should be flexible and it should be able to avoid local minimas especially when a feature is removed. In this work, the power of feature selection through NEAT method is demonstrated. When compared to the evolution of networks with fixed structure, NEAT discovers significantly more sophisticated strategies. The results show NEAT can provide better accuracy compared to conventional Multi-Layer Perceptron and leads to improved feature selection.

Vanadium nitride （VN） was deposited by DC-sputtering on a vertically aligned carbon nanotube （CNTs） template for the purpose of nano-structuration. This led to the fabrication of hierarchically composite electrodes consisting of porous and nanostructured VN grown on vertically aligned CNTs in a nano-treelike configuration for micro-supercapacitor application. The electrodes show excellent performance with an areal capacitance as high as 37.5 mF cm^-2 at a scan rate of 2 mV s^-1 in a 0.5 M K2504 mild electrolyte solution. Furthermore, the capacitance decay was only 15% after 20,000 consecutive cycles. Moreover, the capacitance was found to increase with VN deposit thickness. The X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy analyses of the electrodes before and after cycling suggest that the oxide layers that form at the VN surface is the responsible for the redox energy storage in this material. Such electrodes can compete with other transition metal nitride based electrodes for micro-supercapacitors.

Effect of onion (Allium cepaL.) as an antibiotic growth promoter substitution on performance, immune responses and serum biochemical parameters in broiler chicks

This experiment was conducted to evaluate the effect of onion (Allium cepa L.) as an antibiotic growth promoter substitute on growth performance, immune responses and serum biochemistry in broilers. A total of 192 one-d-old as hatched broiler chicks (Ross 308) were weighed and randomly allocated to four treatment groups, each with 4 replicate pens of 12 chicks. The dietary treatments consisted of the basal diet (control), antibiotic (15 mg Virginiamycin/kg), and control +10 or 30 g fresh onion bulb/kg diet. Body weights of broilers were determined at d 1, 21 and 42, feed intake was determined at the same periods, and feed conversion ratio was calculated accordingly. At 14th and 21st days blood samples were taken for measuring antibody titers against NDV and at 42nd day for biochemical analysis. At d 42, two birds per replicate were slaughtered for determination of lymphoid organ weights. Dietary supplementation of30 g/kg onion increased final body weight of broilers at 42nd d of age compared to the other treatments (P < 0.05). Birds fed30 gonion/kg in the diet had the highest feed intake than other treatments at different growth periods (P < 0.05). Dietary treatments failed to induce any significant effect on antibody titers against NDV, although the weight of lymphoid organs was significantly (P Broilers receiving30 g/kg onion had a significantly higher HDL and lower triglyceride concentrations compared to control groups (P . We propose a novel structure for tunnel junction based on delta-doped AlGaAs/GaAs quantum wires. Higher spatial confinement of quantum wires alongside the increased effective doping concentration in the delta-doped regions extremely increase the peak tunneling current and enhance the performance of tunnel junction. The proposed structure can be used as tunnel junction in the multijunction solar cells under the highest possible thermodynamically limited solar *** combination of the quantum wire with the delta-doped structure can be of benefit to the solar cells' advantages including higher number of sub-bands and high degeneracy. Simulation results show a voltage drop of 40 mV due to the proposed tunnel junction used in a multijunction solar cell which presents an extremely low resistance to the achieved peak tunneling current.

In this paper, definition and properties of logistic map along with orbit and bifurcation diagrams, Lyapunov exponent, and its histogram are considered. In order to expand chaotic region of Logistic map and make it suitable for cryptography, two modified versions of Logistic map are proposed. In the First Modification of Logistic map (FML), vertical symmetry and transformation to the right are used. In the Second Modification of Logistic (SML) map, vertical and horizontal symmetry and transformation to the right are used. Sensitivity of FML to initial condition is less and sensitivity of SML map to initial condition is more than the others. The total chaotic range of SML is more than others. Histograms of Logistic map and SML map are identical. Chaotic range of SML map is fivefold of chaotic range of Logistic map. This property gave more key space for cryptographic purposes.
