Ba.kground: The ra.e of deliveries by cesa.ea. section (CS) is increa.ing worldwide. a. elective cesa.ea. section (ECS) is a.cesa.ea. section ca.ried with or without a.medica. rea.on, in some ca.es choice by pregna.t women. The number of women dema.ding for delivery by elective cesa.ea. section is increa.ing in Sa.di a.a.ia. a.though CS is the commonest ma.or surgery performed in Obstetrics throughout the world;there a.e still concerns a.out the knowledge a.d a.titude of Sa.di Pregna.t women towa.ds it. Methods: The design of this study wa. a.qua.tita.ive, descriptive, a.d cross-sectiona. design. The study sa.ple consisted of 206 pregna.t women a.tending a.tena.a. clinic during the third trimester, selected by convenience sa.pling method from Ma.ernity a.d Children Hospita. in Jedda. City in Sa.di a.a.ia. Structured interview questionna.re wa. used in this study. Different sta.istica. procedures were used for da.a.a.a.ysis including percenta.es, mea., a.d mea. percenta.es. Content va.idity a.d relia.ility were done. Results: The ma.orities (78.2%) of the pregna.t women ha.e a.equa.e level of knowledge a.out ECS, 14.6% of them ha.e modera.e knowledge, a.d only 7.3% ha.e ina.equa.e knowledge. a.so, 137 (66.5%) of pregna.t women ha.e nega.ive a.titude towa.d ECS, while 58 (28.2%) ha.e positive a.titude. Conclusion a.d recommenda.ions: The study concluded tha. there wa. a.good level of knowledge a.ong pregna.t women a.out ECS in most of the instrument questions in genera.;except in some a.ea. such a. the ba. consequences of CS. On the other ha.d, the ma.ority of the pregna.t women ha. nega.ive a.titude towa.d ECS. Hea.th ca.e provider such a. doctors, nurses a.d midwives should provide a.equa.e knowledge to the pregna.t women a.out consequence of cesa.ea. section on the mother a.d child. Va.ious interventions a.e recommended to decline unnecessa.y cesa.ea. section. These interventions need to conta.n cha.ges in a.titude a.d correcting misperceptions a.ong pregna.t women

Using I-V cha.a.teristics to investiga.e selected conta.ts for SnO_2:F thin films

Fluorine doped tin oxide （SnO2：F） thin films were prepa.ed on gla.s substra.es by the spra. pyrolysis （SP） technique a. different substra.e tempera.ures between 380480 ℃. The microstructure of the films wa. explored using sca.ning electron microscope observa.ions. a. investiga.ion of selected conta.ts for the films wa. performed through the a.a.ysis of the I-V mea.urements which were ta.en in the da.k a. room tempera.ure. Indium, a.uminum a.d silver were selected a. conta.ts where two strips of ea.h meta. were va.uum-eva.ora.ed on the surfa.e of the film. The resistivity of the films wa. estima.ed from the linea. I-V plots. It wa. found tha. the sma.lest resistivity wa. obta.ned using silver conta.ts, while the la.gest resistivity wa. obta.ned by using indium conta.ts. This is beca.se silver diffuses in the film a.d pa.ticipa.es in doping, while a.uminum a.d indium ca.se compensa.ion effects when they diffuse in the film. The best linea. fit pa.a.eters a.e those of films with a.uminum conta.ts, a.d the worst ones a.e those of films with indium conta.ts. a.nea.ing wa. found to improve the electrica. properties of the films, especia.ly those deposited a. a.low substra.e tempera.ure. This is beca.se it is expected to encoura.e crysta. growth a.d to reduce the conta.t potentia. which lea.s to the forma.ion of a. a.loy. a.nea.ed films a.e more sta.le tha. un-a.nea.ed ones.

There a.e severa. meta.s tha. form ohmic conta.ts for ZnO thin films, such a. copper, a.uminum a.d silver. The a.m of this work is to ma.e a.compa.ison between these ohmic conta.ts. To a.hieve this purpose, polycrysta.line ZnO thin films were prepa.ed by the spra. pyrolysis technique, a.d cha.a.terized by the I-V mea.urements a. room tempera.ure. Two strips of ea.h meta. were therma.ly eva.ora.ed on the surfa.e of the film a.d mea.urements were first recorded in the da.k a.d room light, then in the da.k before a.d a.ter a.nea.ing for a., which wa. found to be the best in the set. Films with a.uminum conta.ts ga.e the sma.lest resistivity, best ohmicity a.d they a.e slightly a.fected by light a. required. On the other ha.d, copper wa. found to be the worst, a.d films with copper conta.ts ga.e the la.gest resistivity, worst ohmicity a.d they a.e the most a.fected by light. a.nea.ing improved the a.uminum conta.ts due to a.loying a.d doping.

Ba.KGROUND： a.though cupping rema.ns a.popula. trea.ment moda.ity worldwide, its effica.y for most disea.es, including hypertension, ha. not been scientifica.ly eva.ua.ed. OBJECTIVE： We a.med to determine the effica.y of wet-cupping for high blood pressure, a.d the incidence of the procedure＇s side effects in the intervention group. DESIGN, SETTING, Pa.TICIPa.TS a.D INTERVENTIONS： This is a.ra.domized controlled tria. conducted in the Genera. Pra.tice Depa.tment a. King a.dula.iz University Hospita., Jedda., Sa.di a.a.ia. between Ma. 2013 a.d Februa.y 2014. There were two groups （40 pa.ticipa.ts ea.h）： intervention group undergoing wet-cupping （hija.a. in a.dition to conventiona. hypertension trea.ment, a.d a.control group undergoing only conventiona. hypertension trea.ment. Three wet-cupping sessions were performed every other da.. Ma.N OUTCOME MEa.URE： The mea. systolic a.d dia.tolic blood pressures were mea.ured using a.va.ida.ed a.toma.ic sphygmoma.ometer. The follow-up period wa. 8 weeks. RESULTS： Wet-cupping provided a. immedia.e reduction of systolic blood pressure. a.ter 4 weeks of follow-up, the mea. systolic blood pressure in the intervention group wa. 8.4 mmHg less tha. in the control group （P = 0.046）. a.ter 8 weeks, there were no significa.t differences in blood pressures between the intervention a.d control groups. In this study, wet-cupping did not result in a.y serious side effects. CONCLUSION： Wet-cupping thera.y is effective for reducing systolic blood pressure in hypertensive pa.ients for up to 4 weeks, without serious side effects. Wet-cupping should be considered a. a.complementa.y hypertension trea.ment, a.d further studies a.e needed.

The shift towa.ds susta.na.ility in the fa.hion industry ha. become a. urgent necessity a.d a.na.iona. duty, where the life cycle of ga.ments poses a.nega.ive impa.t on the environment, which increa.es strongly with the huge increa.e in the da.ly consumption of ga.ments a.d fa.t fa.hion. One of the most prominent solutions tha. ha.e been proposed is to cha.ge the ma.ufa.turing system in a.wa. tha. would help reduce costs, reduce supply a.d provide products tha. a.e more closely rela.ed to the individua. customer need. a.cessories such a. (closers) a.e a. importa.t pa.t of the fa.hion industry, a.d therefore, this study a.med to produce closers using (FDM) technology, which is one of the lea.t expensive a.d most widesprea. 3D printing technologies. These closers a.e then tested in the la.ora.ory a.cording to a.TCC sta.da.d specifica.ions for ga.ments a.d closers to ensure the a.plica.ility of this technology in the implementa.ion of closers for designers a.d ma.ufa.turers in medium a.d sma.l fa.ilities. This study relied on the experimenta. explora.ory a.proa.h, a.d the results proved the success of the proposed closers, a. the implemented models pa.sed the sta.da.d tests with distinction.

Topic： Supplementa.ion with omega.3 ha. been proposed to reduce the risk of preecla.psia. but the effects of this intervention a.e still uncerta.n. Method： a.RCT （ra.domized controlled tria.） ha. been conducted on 400 pregna.t women between 12 a.d 16 weeks of gesta.ion. Women were a.signed ra.domly to either the control group or the study group. a.hievements： Of the 400 women enrolled, 195 were ra.domly a.signed to the study group a.d 205 to the control group. There wa. a.significa.t difference between the study a.d the control groups in rela.ion to the incidence ofpreecla.psia.（0.5% a.d 5.5% respectively, P 〈 0.05）.

Introduction: We report a. eight-ca.e series of corona.irus disea.e 2019 (COVID-19)-rela.ed multisystem infla.ma.ory syndrome in children (MIS-C). Methods: Children who tested positive for COVID-19, met the MIS-C criteria.of the World Hea.th Orga.iza.ion (WHO), a.d were a. style="font-fa.ily: ">hospita.ized a. a.tertia.y hospita. in Riya.h from September to December 2021 were identified a.d their clinica. da.a.reviewed. Results: The a.e a. dia.nosis is a. style="font-fa.ily: ">between 4 to 13 yea.s old. Fever, decrea.ed ora. inta.e, ga.troenteritis, a.d a.domina. pa.n were the most common symptoms. a.l ca.es showed hyperinfla.ma.ion with high C-rea.tive protein, erythrocyte sedimenta.ion ra.e, ferritin levels, a.d dera.ged coa.ula.ion profiles. Most of the ca.es ha. eleva.ed B-type na.riuretic peptide (75%) a.d troponin (100%) levels. However, two ca.es ha. ca.diova.cula. involvement. Two pa.ients presented with a.ute respira.ory distress syndrome a.d required mecha.ica. ventila.ion. The mea. hospita. sta. wa. 13.1 da.s, with seven pa.ients initia.ly requiring intensive ca.e ma.a.ement for ionotropic support. Most ca.es required broa.-spectrum a.tibiotics, intra.enous steroids, intra.enous immunoglobulin, a.d a.pirin. a.l pa.ients recovered a.d were discha.ged from the hospita. in good clinica. condition. Conclusion: Children with COVID-19 a.e a. risk of developing MIS-C. Pra.titioners must ha.e a.high index of suspicion for its dia.nosis a.d should sta.t trea.ment a. soon a. possible to prevent unfa.ora.le outcomes.

a.m: To study serum progra.ulin (PGRN) level in children with obesity a.d its rela.ionship to infla.a.a.ory ma.kers a.d viscera. fa.. Methods: Fifty obese children a.d 50 controls a.ed 10-18 yea.s were recruited. Demogra.hic, a.thropometric a.d biochemica. fea.ures were collected a.cording to a.sta.da.d protocol. Serum progra.ulin levels, serum IL-6 a.d hsCRP were mea.ured using ELISa. Insulin resista.ce wa. ca.cula.ed by the homeosta.is model (HOMa.IR) using the following formula. HOMa.IR = fa.ting insulin (mU/L) × fa.ting glucose (mmoL/L)/ 22.5. The ma.imum viscera. fa. thickness (VFT) a.d the minimum subcuta.eous fa. thickness (SFT) were mea.ured by ultra.onogra.hy. Results: In the obese group, a.significa.t increa.e wa. found in serum PGRN (48.87 ± 42.33 ng/mL) compa.ed to control group (30.18 ± 23.82 ng/mL). Progra.ulin correla.ed significa.tly with VFT (r = 0.475), IL6 (r = 0.368), Insulin(r = 0.440) a.d HOMa.IR (r = 0.379). The mea. serum progra.ulin in the high tertile VFT group wa. significa.tly higher tha. those in the low tertile a.d middle tertile groups (P = 0.030 a.d P = 0.039 respectively). VFT wa. highly positively correla.ed to progra.ulin, SFT, IL6, insulin, HOMa.IR a.d hsCRP (P = 0.001, 0.000, 0.001, 0.001, 0.003 a.d 0.003). However, the correla.ion coefficient between SFT a.d progra.ulin wa. insignifica.t. Summa.y: we demonstra.ed for the first time tha. serum PGRN concentra.ions increa.ed in Egyptia. obese children. The concentra.ions of serum PGRN correla.ed closely with viscera. fa. a.d IL6. Conclusion: PGRN ma. contribute to the pa.hogenesis of chronic infla.ma.ion in obesity. It could be a.novel ma.ker of viscera. fa. in obesity. Thus PGRN could be a.potentia. thera.eutic ta.get for ma.a.ement of chronic infla.ma.ion in obesity.
