This study was performed to investigate the changes in microbial communities and metabolites during the long-term fermentation of commercially manufactured anchovy *** of commercial anchovy sauce were collected from large-scale fermentation tanks with fermentation periods of up to 7.87 *** complex bacterial community was simplified to two genera,Tetragenococcus and Halanaerobium,after approximately 0.55 years of *** genera,such as Saccharomyces,Cladosporium,Candida,and Aspergillus,were relatively dominant,no clear pattern was identified in fungal community *** longitudinal metabolite profile demonstrated that approximately half(55.8%)of the metabolites present in anchovy sauce were produced within a year of fermentation due to rapid *** the static microbial community,the contents of several metabolites including amino acids and biogenic amines changed continuously during the long-term fermentation of anchovy *** study provides novel insights into the changes in microbiota and metabolites in fish sauce produced without any starter inoculation.

Although friction characteristics of fault gouge are important to understand reactivation of fault,behavior of earthquake,and mechanism of slope failure,analysis results of fault gouge have low accuracy mostly than those of soils or rocks due to its high heterogeneity and low ***,to improve the accuracy of analysis results,we conducted simple regression analysis and structural equation model analysis and selected major influential factors of friction characteristics among many factors,and then we deduced advanced regression model with the highest coefficient of determination(R^(2)) via multiple regression *** most coefficients of determination in simple regression analysis are below0.3-0.4,coefficient of determination in multiple regression analysis is remarkably large as 0.657.

The liner of a CNG pressure vessel is manufactured by a DDI(deep drawing and ironing)process for the cylinder part,which is a continuous process that includes a drawing process to reduce the diameter of the billet and a subsequent ironing process to reduce the thickness of the billet.A tractrix die used in the 1^(st) deep drawing allows the blank to flow smoothly by decreasing the punch load and radial tensile stress occurring in the *** also increases the draw ratio compared to conventional dies,but it causes forming *** this study,a shape coefficient(S_(c))is proposed for the tractrix die using the blank diameter(D_(0)),inflow diameter of the workpiece(d_(i)),and inflow angle of the workpiece(θ)for design of the tractrix *** effects of the thickness and inflow angle of the workpiece on wrinkling and folding were investigated through ***,a discriminant is proposed for the relative radial stress(σ)generated during the deep drawing process using the tractirx die and used to predict *** on the results,the blank thickness,the draw ratio,and the inflow of the workpiece angle in the 1^(st) deep drawing process are suggested,and the number of operations in the DDI process was reduced from 6 to *** improves the productivity and reduces the manufacturing cost.

AIM: To compare the demographics and survival rates between gallbladder adenocarcinoma(GB-adenocarcinoma) and small cell neuroendocrine carcinoma of the gallbladder(GB-NEC-SCC).METHODS: From March 2007 to September 2012,patients who underwent resection of tumor stage T2/T3 GB cancer were enrolled for this *** patients were included in this study,including 38 diagnosed with GB-adenocarcinoma and four diagnosed with *** the GB-adenocarcinoma group,a radical operation was performed in 28 patients,and ten patients underwent simple *** the GB-NEC-SCC group,a radical operation was performed in three patients,and one patient underwent simple *** analysis of the two groups was performed,including clinicopathologic features and survival ***: The median age of the patients was 68 y(range: 35-83 years) and females comprised 26/42 of the ***-adenocarcinoma patients were significantly older than GB-NEC-SCC patients(67.89 ± 11.15 vs 55.75 ± 10.31 years; P = 0.029).The median tumor size in GB-adenocarcinoma patients was 2.56 ± 1.75 cm and 3.98 ± 3.74 cm in GB-NEC-SCC patients; however,there was no significant difference between the two *** tumors > 2 cm,T stage(T2 vs T3),lymphovascular invasion,perineural invasion,lymph node metastasis and lymph node ratio showed no significant differences between the two *** overall survival rate of the 42 patients at five years was 77.0%.In the GB-adenocarcinoma group,the overall five-year survival rate was 74.8%,and survival in the GB-NEC-SCC group was 100%,which was not significantly different between the two ***: The strategy for treating patients with GB-NEC-SCC should be similar to that used for treating GB-adenocarcinoma,including radical cholecystectomy and liver resection.

AIM: To study the distributions and frequencies of intestinal endocrine cells in the C57BL/6 mouse with immunohistochemical method using seven types of specific antisera against chromogranin A (CGA), serotonin,somatostatin, glucagons, gastrin, cholecystokinin (CCK)-8 and human pancreatic polypeptide (hPP) after abdominal subcutaneous implantation of murine lung carcinoma (3LL).METHODS: The experimental animals were divided into two groups, one is non-implanted Sham and the other is 3LL-implanted group. Samples were collected from six regions of intestinal tract at 28th d after implantation of 3LL cells (1×105 cell/mouse).RESULTS: In this study, five types of immunoreactive (IR) cells were identified except for gastrin and hPP. The regional distributions of the intestinal endocrine cells in the 3LL-implanted group were similar to those of the non-implanted Sham. However, significant decreases of IR cells were detected in 3LL-implanted group compared to those of non-implanted Sham. CGA- and serotonin-IR cells significantly decreased in 3LL-implanted groups compared to that of non-implanted Sham. Somatostatin-IR cells in the jejunum and ileum and CCK-8-IR cells in the jejunum of 3LL-implanted groups significantly decreased compared to that of non-implanted Sham. In addition,glucagon-IR cells were restricted to the ileum and colon of non-implanted ***: Implantation of tumor cell mass (3LL)induced severe quantifiable changes of intestinal endocrine cell density and the abnormality in density of intestinal endocrine cells may contribute to the development of gastrointestinal symptoms such as anorexia and indigestion, frequently encountered in patients with cancer.

BACKGROUND There is still no consensus on which concentration of mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)to use for promoting fracture healing in a rat model of long bone *** To assess the optimal concentration of MSCs for promoting fracture healing in a rat *** Wistar rats were divided into four groups according to MSC concentrations:Normal saline(C),2.5×10^(6)(L),5.0×10^(6)(M),and 10.0×10^(6)(H)*** MSCs were injected directly into the fracture *** rats were sacrificed at 2 and 6 wk *** bone formation[bone volume(BV)and percentage BV(PBV)]was evaluated using micro-computed tomography(CT).Histological analysis was performed to evaluate fracture healing *** protein expression of factors related to MSC migration[stromal cell-derived factor 1(SDF-1),transforming growth factor-beta 1(TGF-β1)]and angiogenesis[vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)]was evaluated using western blot *** expression of cytokines associated with osteogenesis[bone morphogenetic protein-2(BMP-2),TGF-β1 and VEGF]was evaluated using real-time polymerase chain *** Micro-CT showed that BV and PBV was significantly increased in groups M and H compared to that in group C at 6 wk post-fracture(P=0.040,P=0.009;P=0.004,P=0.001,respectively).Significantly more cartilaginous tissue and immature bone were formed in groups M and H than in group C at 2 and 6 wk post-fracture(P=0.018,P=0.010;P=0.032,P=0.050,respectively).At 2 wk post fracture,SDF-1,TGF-β1 and VEGF expression were significantly higher in groups M and H than in group L(P=0.031,P=0.014;P<0.001,P<0.001;P=0.025,P<0.001,respectively).BMP-2 and VEGF expression were significantly higher in groups M and H than in group C at 6 wk postfracture(P=0.037,P=0.038;P=0.021,P=0.010).Compared to group L,TGF-β1 expression was significantly higher in groups H(P=0.016).There were no significant differences in expression levels of chemokines related to MSC migration,angiogenesis and cytokines associated

In the early days of IoT’s introduction, it was challenging to introduce encryption communication due to the lackof performance of each component, such as computing resources like CPUs and batteries, to encrypt and decryptdata. Because IoT is applied and utilized in many important fields, a cyberattack on IoT can result in astronomicalfinancial and human casualties. For this reason, the application of encrypted communication to IoT has beenrequired, and the application of encrypted communication to IoT has become possible due to improvements inthe computing performance of IoT devices and the development of lightweight cryptography. The applicationof encrypted communication in IoT has made it possible to use encrypted communication channels to launchcyberattacks. The approach of extracting evidence of an attack based on the primary information of a networkpacket is no longer valid because critical information, such as the payload in a network packet, is encrypted byencrypted communication. For this reason, technology that can detect cyberattacks over encrypted network trafficoccurring in IoT environments is required. Therefore, this research proposes an encrypted cyberattack detectionsystem for the IoT (ECDS-IoT) that derives valid features for cyberattack detection from the cryptographic networktraffic generated in the IoT environment and performs cyberattack detection based on the derived features. ECDS-IoT identifies identifiable information from encrypted traffic collected in IoT environments and extracts statistics-based features through statistical analysis of identifiable information. ECDS-IoT understands information aboutnormal data by learning only statistical features extracted from normal data. ECDS-IoT detects cyberattacks basedonly on the normal data information it has trained. Composites were prepared,through hot pressing,using carbon materials with different pore size distributions as additives for commercial Bi_(0.5)Sb_(1.5)Te_(3) thermoelectric material(BST,p-type).Thermoelectric properties of the composites were measured in a temperature range of 298-473 *** conductivity of the composites,especially lattice thermal conductivity,was effectively decreased due to the mesoporous properties of the incorporated carbon *** electrical conductivity of the composites slightly decreased due to the electron scattering at the interface between the carbon material and the commercial BST *** composite with 0.2 vol.%mesoporous carbon powder(36%mesoporosity)exhibited a figure of merit value approximately 10.7%higher than that of commercial BST without *** behavior resulted in 116%improved output power in the composite block-based single element compared with a bare BST thermoelectric *** enhanced figure of merit was attributed to the effective reduction of lattice thermal conductivity by acoustic phonons scattering at the interface between the BST matrix and the mesoporous carbon as well as at the pore surfaces within the mesoporous *** utilizing mesoporous carbon materials used in this study,the shortcomings and economic difficulties of the composite process with low dimensional carbon additives(carbon nanotubes,graphene,and nanodiamond)can be overcome for extensive practical *** carbon powder with a tailored porosity distribution revealed the validity of bulk-type carbon additives to enhance the figure of merit of commercial thermoelectric materials.

Since the first report of amorphous In–Ga–Zn–O based thin film transistors,interest in oxide semiconductors has *** offer high mobility,low off-current,low process temperature,and wide flexibility for compositions and ***,depositing oxide semiconductors using conventional processes like physical vapor deposition leads to problematic issues,especially for high-resolution displays and highly integrated memory *** approaches have limited process flexibility and poor conformality on structured *** layer deposition(ALD)is an advanced technique which can provide conformal,thickness-controlled,and high-quality thin film ***,studies on ALD based oxide semiconductors have dramatically increased *** so,the relationships between the film properties of ALD-oxide semiconductors and the main variables associated with deposition are still poorly understood,as are many issues related to *** this review,to introduce ALD-oxide semiconductors,we provide:(a)a brief summary of the history and importance of ALD-based oxide semiconductors in industry,(b)a discussion of the benefits of ALD for oxide semiconductor deposition(in-situ composition control in vertical distribution/vertical structure engineering/chemical reaction and film properties/insulator and interface engineering),and(c)an explanation of the challenging issues of scaling oxide semiconductors and ALD for industrial *** review provides valuable perspectives for researchers who have interest in semiconductor materials and electronic device applications,and the reasons ALD is important to applications of oxide semiconductors.
