Polycaprolactone-carboxymethyl cellulose composites have been obtained and used to print porous structures by material *** materials used contained 0,2 and 5% w/w of the carboxymethyl cellulose *** structures have been analyzed in terms of their morphology (including the evaluation of their porosity),mechanical properties under compression load and cell *** affinity has been evaluated by culturing sheep mesenchymal stem cells and analyzing their viability by the Alamar Blue(R)assay at days 1,3,6 and *** results show that composites samples have similar values of porosity and apparent density than pure polycaprolactone ***,samples containing 5%w/w of carboxymethyl cellulose have micropores on the filaments due to a hindered deposition *** characteristic affects the mechanical properties of the structures,so these ones have a mean compression modulus significantly lower than pure polycaprolactone ***, the samples containing 2%w/w of carboxymethyl cellulose show no significant difference with the pure polycaprolactone ones in terms of their mechanical ***,the presence of 2%w/w of additive improves cell proliferation on the surface of the porous *** complementary information,the flow properties of the composite materials were studied and the power law equations at 210℃ obtained,as this temperature was the 3D printing *** equations can be useful for simulation and designing purposes of other manufacturing processes.

The growth kinetics of PEO coatings on Az31 and Az91 magnesium alloys were studied and correlated with their structure,compositions(phase and elemental)and corrosion *** was established that the coatings have a two-(outer and anodic)or three-layer structure(outer,inner and anodic)depending on the treatment ***,at short treatment time only an anodic layer and outer layer *** of the outer PEO layer takes place due to the micro discharges,which occur in vertical pores and voids with spherical *** the time is increasing,and electrolyte inside of the pores is heating-up,etching of the mg substrate and oxide film becomes more dominant and horizontal pores in the interface between coating and metal are *** the pores new anodic layer will form and at this time the formation of the third inner layer *** growth of the inner layer happens via the anodic film as a result of micro discharge ignition in the horizontal pores,accompanied by formation of plasma in numerous micro-voids of this *** coatings formed on Az91 alloy are denser,than those on Az31,which is related to the difference in the rates of inner layer growth and dissolving of oxides which are located at the bottom of the horizontal *** of the lower Al content,the Az31 substrate itself and the also the oxide films are less stable and tend to dissolve at a higher rate compared to ***,it was demonstrated that a good corrosion resistance of the coatings was only obtained on Az91 and if the average thickness of the coating is around 50μm,correlating with the formation of a sufficiently dense inner laye-Knowing this mechanism,a new two-step treatment was suggested,combining the standard PEO treatment with a subsequent PEO process in an electrolyte supporting the inner film *** concept was successfully applied and a further improved corrosion resistance was obtained compared to the single stage PEO *** improvement of corrosion re

Preliminary Palynostratigraphic Data on the middle Albian-Lower Cenomanian of the Tarfaya Basin, Southwest morocco

The Tarfaya-Laayoune-Boujdour basin is of great interest to oil exploration;on this aspect, there has been exploration by the moroccan National Office of Hydrocarbons and mining, which has shown indices of oil and/or gas recorded in most wells drilled in the moroccan Atlantic margin. FD-1 well, object of this study, is one of these wells located in the offshore Tarfaya-Laayoune-Boujdour basin. A palynological examination of the processed samples revealed the existence of organic palynomorphs, well conserved and rich in dinoflagellate cysts. The latter are composed of worldwide marker taxa of high stratigraphic resolutions. Thus, the middle upper Albian (3408 - 3408.5 m) is determined by the presence of Cribroperidinium tensiftense, Tehamadinium coummia, Spiniferella cornuta, Chichaouadinium vestitum, Dinopterygium alatum and Litosphaeridium arundum. The upper Albian (3406.5 - 3408 m) is characterized by the FOs of marker taxa: Cyclonephelium chabaca, Cribroperidinium auctificum and Chichaouadinium vestitum. Lastly, the upper Albian-lower Cenomanian transition is defined between 3404 m and 3406.50 m, as suggested by the FOs of Chichaouadinium boydii, Dinopterygium tuberculatum, Sepispinula ancorifera, Litosphaeridium conispinum, Prolixosphaeridium conulum and Xenascus ceratioides.

The existence of multigenic families in the mevalonate pathway suggests divergent functional roles for pathway components involved in the biosynthesis of plant sterols. Squalene epoxidases （SQEs） are key components of this pathway, and Squalene Epoxidase 1 （SQE1） has been identified as a fundamental enzyme in this biosynthetic step. In the present work, we extended the characterization of the remaining SQE family members, phylogenetically resolving between true SQEs and a subfamily of SQE-like proteins that is exclusive to Brassicaceae. Functional characterization of true SQE family members, Squalene Epox- idase 2 （SQE2） and Squalene Epoxidase 3 （SQE3）, indicates that SQE3, but not SQE2, contributes to the bulk SQE activity in Arabidopsis, with sqe3-1 mutants accumulating squalene and displaying sensitivity to ter- binafine. We genetically demonstrated that SQE3 seems to play a particularly significant role in embryo development. Also, SQE1 and SQE3 both localize in the endoplasmic reticulum, and SQE3 can functionally complement SQEI. Thus, SQE1 and SQE3 seem to be two functionally unequal redundant genes in the pro- motion of plant SQE activity in Arabidopsis.
