Background Danshen （Radix Salvia miltiorrhizae） has been used as a traditional medicine in Asia for treatment of various microcirculatory disturbance related diseases. Tanshinones are mainly hydrophobic active components, which have been isolated from Danshen and show various biological functions. In this study, we observed the neuroprotective effect of tanshinone I （Tsl） against ischemic damage in the gerbil hippocampal CA1 region （CA1） after transient cerebral ischemia and examined its neuroprotective mechanism. Methods The gerbils were divided into vehicle-treated-sham-group, vehicle-treated-ischemia-group, Tsl-treated-sham- group, and Tsl-treated-ischemia-group. Tsl was administrated intraperitoneally three times （once a day for three days） before ischemia-reperfusion. The neuroprotective affect of Tsl was examined using H＆E staining, neuronal nuclei （NeuN） immunohistochemistry and Fluoro-Jade B staining. To investigate the neuroprotective mechanism of Tsl after ischemia- reperfusion, immunohistochemical （IHC） and Western blotting analyses for Cu, Zn-superoxide dismutase （SOD1）, Mn- superoxide dismutase （SOD2）, brain-derived neurotrophic factor （BDNF） and insulin-like growth factor-I （IGF-I） were *** Treatment with Tsl protected pyramidal neurons from ischemia-induced neuronal death in the CA1 after ischemia-reperfusion. In addition, treatment with Tsl maintained the levels of SOD1 and SOD2 as determined by IHC and Western blotting in the CA1 after ischemia- reperfusion compared with the vehicle-ischemia-group. In addition, treatment with Tsl increased the levels of BDNF and IGF-I determined by IHC and Westem blotting in the Tsl-treated-sham-group compared with the vehicle-treated- sham-group, and their levels were maintained in the stratum pyramidale of the ischemic CA1 in the Tsl-treated- ischemia-group. Workow management technologies have been dramatically improving their deployment architectures and systems along with the evolution and proliferation of cloud distributed computing ***,such cloud computing environments ought to be providing a suitable distributed computing paradigm to deploy very large-scale workow processes and applications with scalable on-demand *** this paper,we focus on the distribution paradigm and its deployment formalism for such very large-scale workow applications being deployed and enacted across the multiple and heterogeneous cloud computing *** propose a formal approach to vertically as well as horizontally fragment very large-scale workow processes and their applications and to deploy the workow process and application fragments over three types of cloud deployment models and *** concretize the formal approach,we rstly devise a series of operational situations fragmenting into cloud workow process and application components and deploying onto three different types of cloud deployment models and *** concrete approaches are called the deployment-driven fragmentation mechanism to be applied to such very large-scale workow process and applications as an implementing component for cloud workow management ***,we strongly believe that our approach with the fragmentation formalisms becomes a theoretical basis of designing and implementing very large-scale and maximally distributed workow processes and applications to be deployed on cloud deployment models and architectural computing environments as well.

雷达系统能够同时探测森林的水平结构和垂直结构,结合地面控制点还可以高精度地描绘森林中的树干、树冠及林下植被.基于此理念,通过计算雷达激光束被拦截的比例估算红松(Pinus koraiensis)、日本落叶松(Larix leptolepis)和栎类(Quercus sp.)的有效植被面积指数(PAIe).从冠层表面或冠层内部反射的雷达数据中利用k-均值聚类方法提取林隙分数(GLIDAR),根据比尔-朗伯吸收定律和GLIDAR计算PAIe.结果显示,利用雷达数据推算的红松、日本落叶松和栎类的PAIe与实际测量的PAIe之间的相关系数分别为0.82,0.64和0.59.不同树种之间雷达测量值与实测值之间相关性的差异,主要来自于叶片与枝条数量的不同.如果没有树叶,激光雷达的脉冲只能由枝条反射,然而枝条的大小往往小于激光雷达的分辨率(1m),所以与长满树叶的枝条相比,光秃的枝条反射雷达脉冲的几率非常小.因此,若在春季末期树叶出现后进行此类研究,估算的准确度将有所提高.

Background： Glehnia littoralis has been used for traditional Asian medicine, which has diverse therapeutic activities. However, studies regarding neurogenic effects of G. littoralis have not yet been considered. Therefore, in this study, we examined effects of G. littoralis extract on cell proliferation, neuroblast differentiation, and the maturation of newborn neurons in the hippocampus of adult mice. Methods： A total of 39 male ICR mice （12 weeks old） were randomly assigned to vehicle-treated and 100 and 200 mg/kg G. littoralis extract-treated groups （n = 13 in each group）. Vehicle and G. littoralis extract were orally administrated for 28 days. To examine neurogenic effects ofG. litmralis extract, we performed immunohistochemistry tbr 5-bromo-2-deoxyuridine （BrdU, an indicator for cell proliferation） and doublecortin （DCX, an immature neuronal marker） and double immunofluorescence staining for BrdU and neuronal nuclear antigen （NeuN, a mature neuronal marker）. In addition, we examined expressional changes of brain-derived neurotrophic factor （BDNF） and its major receptor tropomyosin-related kinase B （TrkB） using Western blotting analysis. Results： Treatment with 200 mg/kg, not 100 mg/kg, significantly increased number of BrdU-immunoreactive （＋） and DCX＋ cells （48.0 ±3.1and 72.0 ± 3.8 cells/section, respectively） in the subgranular zone （SGZ） of the dentate gyrus （DG） and BrdU＊/NeuN＋ cells （17.0 ±1.5 cells/section） in the granule cell layer as well as in the SGZ. In addition, protein levels of BDNF and YrkB （about 232% and 244% of the vehicle-treated group, respectively） were significantly increased in the DG of the mice treated with 200 mg/kg ofG. littoralis extract. Conclusion： G. littoralis extract promots cell proliferation, neuroblast differentiation, and neuronal maturation in the hippocampal DG, and neurogenic effects might be closely related to increases ofBDN F and TrkB proteins by G. littoralis extract treatment.

AIM:To investigate anxiety and depression propensities in patients with toxic liver ***:The subjects were divided into three groups:a healthy control group(Group 1,n=125),an acute non-toxic liver injury group(Group 2,n=124),and a group with acute toxic liver injury group caused by noncommercial herbal preparations(Group 3,n=126).These three groups were compared and evaluated through questionnaire surveys and using the Hospital Anxiety-Depression Scale(HADS),Beck Anxiety Inventory(BAI),Beck Depression Inventory(BDI),and the hypochondriasis ***:The HADS anxiety subscale was 4.9±2.7,5.0±3.0 and 5.6±3.4,in Groups 1,2,and 3,*** HADS depression subscale in Group 3 showed the most significant score(5.2±3.2,6.4±3.4 and 7.2±3.4in Groups 1,2,and 3,respectively)(P<0.01 vs Group 1,P<0.05 vs Group 2).The BAI and BDI in Group 3showed the most significant score(7.0±6.3 and 6.9±6.9,9.5±8.6 and 8.8±7.3,10.7±7.2 and 11.6±8.5in Groups 1,2,and 3,respectively)(BAI:P<0.01 vs Group 1,P<0.05 vs Group 2)(BDI:P<0.01 vs Group1 and 2).Group 3 showed a significantly higher hypochondriasis score(8.2±6.0,11.6±7.5 and 13.1±6.5in Groups 1,2,and 3,respectively)(P<0.01 vs Group 1,P<0.05 vs Group 2).CONCLUSION:Psychological factors that present vulnerability to the temptation to use alternative medicines,such as herbs and plant preparations,are important for understanding toxic liver injury.

背景与目的一项比较艾日布林联合吉西他滨(eribulin plus gemcitabine,EG)或紫杉醇联合吉西他滨(paclitaxel plus gemcitabine,PG)作为转移性乳腺癌(metastatic breast cancer,MBC)患者一线化疗方案的II期临床试验发现,EG方案的神经毒性较低,但疗效与PG方案相似。在本研究中,我们分析了该临床实验中的癌症患者生命质量测评量表–紫杉烷(functional assessment of cancer therapy-taxane,FACT-Taxane)问卷评分以确定他们的生活质量(quality of life,QoL)。方法使用韩国版的FACT-Taxane问卷评估QoL。在评估基线之后,前12个疗程中每2个疗程评估1次QoL,之后每3个疗程评估1次QoL。使用线性混合模型评估EG组和PG组QoL的差异。结果在118例入组患者中,117例在基线时回复了FACT-Taxane问卷,PG组中有1例患者没有回复。EG组和PG组之间的基线QoL评分没有差异。在治疗期间,除了第11个疗程外,在第2–13个化疗疗程后,PG组紫杉烷亚量表评分显著高于EG组(均P<0.05)。神经病变特异性分析显示PG组患者的神经病症状比EG组患者更早出现且更严重(P<0.001)。结论在我们的QoL分析中,与PG方案相比,EG方案延迟并减少神经病变的发生。因此,艾日布林是MBC一线化疗药物紫杉醇的合理替代品。

辣椒(Capsicum annuum)是美洲最古老的驯化作物之一,在全世界被广泛种植。本研究对CM334(墨西哥地方品种)进行了全基因组测序和组装(覆盖度为186.6×),同时还对另外两个栽培种和一个野生种分别进行了重测序和从头(de novo)测序。结果表明辣椒基因组大小约为番茄的4倍,辣椒基因组上存在大量gypsy转座子和花椰菜病毒家族元件的积累。结合转录组综合分析认为,辣椒素合成酶基因表达模式的改变及新功能化是导致辣椒素生物合成的原因,研究还发现辣椒与番茄在乙烯合成及果实成熟调控方面存在明显不同的分子模式。辣椒参考基因组的发布为辣椒营养品质和药用价值的改善提供了重要平台。

20世纪初期,在日本帝国主义进行侵略和扩张的过程中,伊藤博文政府为了建立"东洋和平"和西方势力抗衡,主张在韩中日之间开展合作。但事实上这种主张不过是把当时以日本为中心的东北亚地区秩序合法化的说辞。针对这一点,安重根、安昌浩、申采浩等韩国独立运动家指出国家正处于丧失国权的危机之中,在对日本主张的"东洋和平"进行批判的同时,强调只有在韩国等周边国家的独立得到保障的情况下才有可能实现真正意义上的"东洋和平"。1910年日本帝国主义强行合并韩国以后,申采浩、朴殷植等韩国独立运动家在指出日本合并韩国的非法性的同时,还强调韩中日等东北亚地区国家间建立在信任基础上的交流和合作的重要性,主张韩国的独立有利于"东洋和平与世界和平"。尤其值得一提的是,柳麟锡在强调韩中关系在东北亚的重要性及中国作用的同时,还提出了韩中日三国在相互信任的基础上朝着共生关系发展的构想。
