Automated Time Based Multi-Criteria Bug Triage Approach:Developer Working Efficiency and Social Network Based Developer Recommendation

In software development projects,bugs are common *** report bugs in open source *** is a need to develop high quality developer prediction model that considers developer work satisfaction,keep within limited development cost,and improve bug resolution *** address and resolve bug report as soon as possible is the main focus of triager when a new bug is ***,developer work efficiency is an important factor in *** address these issues,a proposed approach recommends a set of developers that could potentially share their knowledge with each other to fix new bug *** proposed approach is called developer working efficiency and social network based developer recommendation(DweSn).It is a composite model that builds developers'profile by using developer average bug fixing time,work efficiency to fix variety of bugs,as well as the developer's social interactions with other developers.A similarity measure is applied between new bug and bugs in corpus to extract the list of capable developers from the *** proposed approach only selects those developers who are active and less loaded with *** developer with the highest profile score is assigned the *** evaluated our approach on the subset of five large open-source projects including Mozilla,Netbeans,Eclipse,Firefox and OpenOffice,and compared it with the *** results demonstrate that combination of developers'efficiency with their average bug fixing time and interactions in their social network gives good accuracy and efficiently reduces bug tossing *** approach shows an improvement in prediction accuracy,precision,recall,F-score and reduced bug tossing length up to 93.89%,93.12%,93.46%,93.27%and 93.25%,*** proposed approach achieved a 93%hit ratio and 93.34%mean reciprocal rank,indicating that our proposed triager is able to efficiently assign bugs to correct developers.

Genetic variability and trait association analysis in linseed(Linum usitatissimum L.)for yield and related traits

Diversity information mining about a crop for different attributes is an essential step for effective breeding *** present investigation evaluates the quantum of genetic variability and determines the relationship among the important agro-economic traits based on two years of phenotypic data of 210 accessions of *** traits,capsule weight per plant,capsule per plant,husk weight per plant,and seed weight per plant exhibited comparatively higher genetic coefficient of variation(GCV)and phenotypic coefficient of variation(PCV).In contrast,oil content and seed per capsule exhibited a lower *** high magnitude of broad sense heritability was observed for all traits except seeds per capsule and husk weight per *** trait,capsules per plant,plant height,and days to 50%flowering showed high genetic advance coupled with high *** cluster analysis grouped 210 accessions into six distinct *** of 210,144(68.57%)accessions were grouped into three clusters(I,II,and III),in which cluster-III was the largest,containing 64 accessions followed by cluster II and *** highest inter-cluster distance was observed between clusters-I and V(127.85),while the lowest was between clusters-II and IV(27.09).The positive correlation of capsule weight per plant with the seed weight per plant and a negative correlation with the days to 50%flowering indicates that high yielding linseed varieties with early flowering/maturity could be developed through direct and indirect ***,seed yield and oil content could be enhanced together as indicated by ghe positive association among these two important *** this study,high yielding accessions with moderate to high oil content such as GP36,GP31,GP14,GP54,GP26,GP24,GP34,GP21,GP37 and GP27 and early flowering(less than 70 days)accessions such as GP2,GP26,GP27,CG33,CG44,CG42,CG132,and CG31 identified as potential genetic materials that could be exploited for developing early matu

Molecules against COVID-19:An in Silico Approach for Drug Development

A large number of deaths have been caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)worldwide,turning it into a serious and momentous threat to public *** study tends to contribute to the development of effective treatment strategies through a computational approach,investigating the mechanisms in relation to the binding and subsequent inhibition of SARS-CoV-2 ribonucleic acid(RNA)-dependent RNA polymerase(RdRp).Molecular docking was performed to screen six naturally occurring molecules with antineoplastic properties(Ellipticine,Ecteinascidin,Homoharringtonine,Dolastatin 10,Halichondrin,and Plicamycin).Absorption,distribution,metabolism,and excretion(ADME)investigation was also conducted to analyze the druglike properties of these *** docked results have clearly shown binding of ligands to the SARS-CoV-2 RdRp ***,all ligands were found to obey Lipinski’s rule of *** results provide a basis for repurposing and using molecules,derived from plants and animals,as a potential treatment for the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)infection as they could be effective therapeutics for the same.

Synergistic effect of hybrid Himalayan Nettle/Bauhinia-vahlii fibers on physico-mechanical and sliding wear properties of epoxy composites

The cellulosic bast fibers are recognized as a justifiable and biodegradable substitute for producing moderate strength polymer composite materials because of their characteristics of renewability,ecofriendliness,and higher specific *** the aim of this research work is to fabricate Himalayan bast fibers(Nettle fiber(NF)/bauhinia vahlii fiber(BF)) based mono/hybrid epoxy composites at varying weight percentage of 2-6 wt% and evaluate the physical(void fraction and water absorption),mechanical(tensile strength,flexural strength,hardness) and sliding wear properties of as-fabricated *** 6 wt% NBF reinforced composites exhibited higher mechanical properties as compared to NF and BF composites with tensile strength of 34.04 MPa,flexural strength of 42.45 MPa,and hardness of 37.01 Hv *** influence of various control factors(sliding velocity,NF/BF/NBF contents,normal load and sliding distance) on specific sliding wear rate of composites was evaluated by Taguchi(three factors at three levels) experimental design and the percentage contribution of these selected parameters on sliding wear performance was examined by Analysis of variance(ANOVA).The sliding wear property of as-developed composites was found to be greatly influenced by sliding velocity and the wear resistance was observed to be improved with the NF/BF/NBF *** wear mechanism of the as-fabricated composites has been elucidated by scanning electron microscopy *** research outcomes demonstrated that the hybridization of Bauhinia vahlii fiber with Nettle fiber led to improve the mechanical and wear properties of epoxy composites.

Evaluation of phenolic composition, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anticancer activities of Polygonatum verticillatum(L.)

Objective： Polygonaturn verticillatum （L） All. （Ruscaceae）, one of the Ashtawarga plants, is widely used for treatment of various ailments. The present study was undertaken to determine the phenolic composition, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anticancer activities of several extracts （petroleum ether, dichloro- methane, chloroform, ethanol, and aqueous） from the rhizomes of the plant. Methods： Coarsely powdered dry rhizome was successively extracted with different solvents of increas- ing polarity （petroleum ether, dichloromethane, chloroform, ethanol and water）. The phenolic composi- tions, in terms of total phenolic content （TPC）, total flavonoid content （TFC） and total condensed tannin content （JTC）, were evaluated with the Folin-Ciocalteu assay, aluminum chloride colorimetric assay and vanillin spectrophotometric assay, respectively. Total antioxidant capacity, 1,1-diphenyl-2- picrylhydrazyl and 2,2＇-azino-his（3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid） assays were used to assess the antioxidant potential of each extract. A protein denaturation model and 3-（4,5-dimethylthiazol-2- yl）-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide assay were used to evaluate in vitro anti-inflammatory and anti- cancer activities, respectively. Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry （GC/MS） analysis was carried out to demonstrate various phytoconstituents in each extract. Correlation studies were also performed between phenolic composition （TPC, TFC and TFC） and different biological activities. Results： Ethanol extract showed maximum TPC （0.126 mg/g, gallic acid equivalent in dry sample）, TFC （0.094 mg/g, rutin equivalent in dry sample） and TTC （29.32 mg/g, catechin equivalent in dry sample）, as well as antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Chloroform extract exhibited the strongest cyto- toxicity against the human breast cancer cell line, MCF-7. GC/MS analysis revealed the presence of 90 different phytoconstituents among the extracts. In today’s information technology(IT)world,the multi-hop wireless sensor networks(MHWSNs)are considered the building block for the Internet of Things(IoT)enabled communication systems for controlling everyday tasks of organizations and industry to provide quality of service(QoS)in a stipulated time slot to end-user over the *** city(SC)is an example of one such application which can automate a group of civil services like automatic control of traffic lights,weather prediction,surveillance,etc.,in our daily *** IoT-based networks with multi-hop communication and multiple sink nodes provide efficient communication in terms of performance parameters such as throughput,energy efficiency,and end-to-end delay,wherein low latency is considered a challenging issue in next-generation networks(NGN).This paper introduces a single and parallels stable server queuing model with amulti-class of packets and native and coded packet flowto illustrate the simple chain topology and complexmultiway relay(MWR)node with specific neighbor ***,for improving data transmission capacity inMHWSNs,an analytical framework for packet transmission using network coding at the MWR node in the network layer with opportunistic listening is performed by considering bi-directional network flow at the MWR ***,the accuracy of the proposed multi-server multi-class queuing model is evaluated with and without network coding at the network layer by transmitting data *** results of the proposed analytical framework are validated and proved effective by comparing these analytical results to simulation results.

Effect of Ocimum sanctum on the development of protective immunity against Salmonella typhimurium infection through cytokines
