The term Tertiary, subdivided into the Paleogene and Neogene, is traditionally used to represent the interval of geological time between the Cretaceous and Quaternary. In the 1990s, however, the Neogene and Paleogene were ratified by the International Union of Geological Sciences as periods/systems of the Cenozoic Era/Erathem, leaving the Tertiary officially undefined. The Tertiary nonetheless remains a formal term that has never been officially eliminated, and its widespread use today implies a long future.

In this study, we present a PSHA（Probabilistic Seismic Hazard Analysis） for the city of San Juan, which is located in the central-western region of Argentina（30°S-35.5°S; 66.5°W-71°W）. In addition to crustal earthquakes provided by catalogues, recent paleoseismological and neotectonic investigations have permitted to consider events which occurred during the last 400 *** seismogenic sources that could cause damages to the studied site corresponding to Precordillera,Western Sierras Pampeanas, Basement of the Cuyana Basin and Cordillera Principal were *** on the evaluation of the contribution of these sources,maximum moment magnitudes above 7.5（Mw） are *** values of SA（spectral acceleration）（0.2 and 1 s periods） and PGA（peak ground acceleration） were found in the city of San Juan, which suggests that it is located in a zone of high seismic ***, the obtained SA spectra were compared with the seismic-resistant construction standards of Argentina INPRES-CIRSOC 103 [1]. Results suggest that for the city of San Juan and for a return period of475 years, it covers the seismic requirements of the structures.

Objectives:To evaluate hearing outcome of salvage treatment with intratympanic steroids(ITS)in idiopathic sudden sensorineural hearing loss(ISSNHL)refractory to initial systemic steroid(SS)*** and methods:A retrospective medical chart review was conducted on 54 consecutive patients with ISSNHL refractory to *** treatment with a low dose intratympanic dexamethasone(4 mg/ml)was offered after one week of primary *** were divided into two groups:25 patients accepted ITS(treatment group)and 29 patients did not undergo additional treatment(control group).A pure tone average(PTA)gain of at least 10 dB was considered hearing ***:Hearing improvement rate was higher in ITS group compared to control group(40%vs.13.8%,p=0.035).A mean PTA improvement of 8.6±9.8 dB was observed in the ITS group and,whereas the control group had an average hearing gain of 0.7±2 dB(p<0.001).Audiometric analysis revealed a significant hearing gain in ITS group at all tested frequencies compared to control group(p<0.05).Analysis of the selected variables,identified intratympanic steroid treatment as the only independent prognostic factor for hearing improvement(OR=4.2,95%CI:1.1e15.7;p=0.04).Conclusion:Intratympanic low dose dexamethasone is effective in patients with incomplete hearing recovery after primary systemic steroid treatment.

目的临床数据分析旨在比较“8针法”针灸治疗与经典的中医针灸治疗LDH,得出的治疗方法有更高的症状改善腰椎间盘突出症的治疗以及试图找到一个更有效的LDH的针灸技术。方法收集2020年4月至2020年11月被确诊为腰椎间盘突出症(LDH)的患者,60例。随机分为组1(n=30)和组2(n=30)。组1采用“8针法”针灸治疗。组2采用传统针刺疗法治疗。两组治疗频率均为每周2次,间隔3～4天,共6周。12个疗程为一个疗程。每次治疗持续时间为30分钟。采用视觉模拟评分(Visual Analogue Scale,VAS)、日本骨科协会评分(Japan Orthopedic Association Score,JOA)、Roland-Morris 残障问卷工作天数(Roland-Morris Disability Questionnaire Work days,RMDQ)、Oswestry 残障指数问卷(Oswestry Disability Index,ODIQ)和MRI对两组的结果进行评估。数据分析在患者完成一个疗程后进行。结果本研究显示,经过一个疗程后,两组患者疼痛、功能和生活质量水平(VAS、JOA、RMDQ、ODIQ)均有统计学意义的改善(p<.001)。然而,发现接受8针治疗方法的患者,疼痛显著降低(M=.20,SE=.20)(p=.008),功能水平、完成生理和社会活动(ODIQ)(M=.07,SE=.01)(p=.001)较接受传统治疗的高(M=1.03,SE=.23)(p=.008),ODIQ(M=.10,SE=0.2)(p=.001)。试验还显示,在VAS中,8针法治疗在6次治疗后达到最佳结果VAS(M=.20,SE=.20)(p<.001),而传统治疗仅在12次治疗后达到最佳结果VAS(M=1.03,SE=.23)(p<.001)。8针法疗法各指标均有较高的得分:VAS(M=.20,SE=.20)(p<.001);JOA(M=28.60,SE=.40);RMDQ(M=.27,SE=.27):ODIQ(M=.07,SE=.01)(p<.001),优于传统治疗(M=1.03,SE=.23)(p<.001);JOA(M=27.57,SE=.52);RMDQ(M=.53,SE=.53);ODIQ(M=.10,SE=.02)(p<.001)。两组间JOA和RMDQ差异无统计学意义结论对于腰椎间盘突出症(LDH)轻中度患者,“八针法”是更有效的非手术方法。

GroupqV monochalcogenides are emerging as a new class of layered materials beyond graphene, transition metal dichalcogenides （TMDCs）, and black phosphorus （BP）. In this paper, we report experimental and theoretical investigations of the band structure and transport properties of GeSe and its heterostructures. We find that GeSe exhibits a markedly anisotropic electronic transport, with maximum conductance along the armchair direction. Density functional theory calculations reveal that the effective mass is 2.7 times larger along the zigzag direction than the armchair direction; this mass anisotropy explains the observed anisotropic conductance. The crystallographic orientation of GeSe is confirmed by angle- resolved polarized Raman measurements, which are further supported by calculated Raman tensors for the orthorhombic structure. Novel GeSeflVIoS2 p-n heterojunctions are fabricated, combining the natural p-type doping in GeSe and n-type doping in MoS2. The temperature dependence of the measured junction current reveals that GeSe and MoS2 have a type-II band alignment with a conduction band offset of N 0.234 eV. The anisotropic conductance of GeSe may enable the development of new electronic and optoelectronic devices, such as high-efficiency thermoelectric devices and plasmonic devices with resonance frequency continuously tunable through light polarization direction. The unique GeSe/MoS2 p-n junctions with type-II alignment may become essential building blocks of vertical tunneling field-effect transistors for low-power applications. The novel p-type layered material GeSe can also be combined with n-type TMDCs to form heterogeneous complementary metal oxide semiconductor （CMOS） circuits.

Achieving continuous innovation in organizations requires a balance between exploiting yet acquired knowledge and exploring new knowledge. In addition to having the adequate resources, change and innovation capabilities require specific management support and organizational structures. Recent research has pointed out the importance of social network structure and of the activity of agents that work across domains or disciplines in the innovation-oriented behaviour of organizations. As a consequence, information systems should ideally be able to support the analysis, development and management of such social structure for the benefit of organizational objectives. Current social network interfaces provide an established mental model to workers that can be hypothesized to be adequate for supporting activities that foster innovative behaviour. That behaviour is facilitated through exposing the activities of other workers across organizational structures. This paper reports on the design of a user interface specifically targeted to manage the social aspects of innovation based on some aspects of Hargadon＇s model of innovation and knowledge brokering. The emergent nature of interactions in social network sites is used as the metaphor to foster situated cognition. The interface design assessment is described and some metrics for innovative behaviour that could be derived for such an interface are sketched.

Introduction: The improvement of survival in patients with cancer and the expansion of therapeutic options have led to the emergence of a new profile of cardiotoxicity, specifically associated with antimitotic agents. Our study aimed to assess the incidence of chemotherapy-induced myocardial toxicity in patients with cancer. Patients and Methods: We conducted a looking-forward longitudinal cohort study including all patients admitted to the Cardiology departments of Aristide le Dantec Hospital and Dalal Jamm National Hospital Centre for apre-chemotherapy check-up. The included patients did not undergo any pre-existing cardiopathy. Results: Over a period of two years ranging from January 2019 to December 2021, a total of 37 patients were included in the study. Notably, there was a female predominance (92%) with an average age of 49.7 years ± 13.69. Breast cancer accounted for 70% of the neoplasms. Laboratory findings revealed moderate anemia in 19 patients (51%). At inclusion, the left ventricle (LV) was of normal size (LV diastole at 44.46 ± 4.97 mm). The systolic function of the left ventricle was normal in all patients, with an average ejection fraction (EF) of 63.1% ± 5.80 and a mean global longitudinal strain (GLS) of −20.4% ± 2.58. The most commonly used agents were anthracyclines. During follow-up, 3 patients (8.1%) developed clinical symptoms of left heart failure, and LV dysfunction on echocardiography was observed in 5 (13.5%) patients, with a significant decrease in EF Conclusion: The incidence of cardiac toxicity is not negligible, hence the importance of early screening. Strain imaging is an essential tool that should be performed as part of the assessment before chemotherapy and re-evaluated during treatment.

This paper discusses the response of the thermal insulation Lining of rigid foam potyurethane （PU） derived from castor oil （Ricinus communis） in heat conditions, based on dynamic climate approach. Liners have been widely used, because the coverage of buildings is responsible for the greatest absorption of heat by radiation, but the use of PU foam deMved from this vegetal oil is unprecedented and has the advantage of being biodegradable and renewable. The hot wire paraLleL method provided the thermal conductivity vatue of the foam. The thermo- gravimetric analysis enabled the study of the foam decomposition and its Lifetime by kinetic evaLuation that involves the decomposition process. The PU foam thermal behavior analysis was performed by coLlecting experimental data of internal surface temperature measured by thermocouples and assessed by representative episode of the climatic fact. The results Lead to the conclusion that the PU foamderived from castor oit can be applied to thermat insulation of roof systems and is an environmentaLLy friendly materiaL.

In this work a comparative bioadsorption study between a biocomposite consisting of hydrolysed vineyard pruning waste entrapped in calcium alginate spheres and non entrapped vineyard residue was carried *** have demonstrated that the biocomposite based on lignocellulose-calcium alginate spheres removed 77.3% of dyes,while non entrapped lignocellulose eliminated only removed 27.8% of colour *** experimental data were fitted to several kinetic models（pseudo-first order,pseudo-second order,Chien-Clayton model,intraparticle diffusion model and Bangham model）; being pseudo-second order the kinetic model that better described the adsorption of dyes onto both *** addition,a morphological study（roughness and shape） of alginate-vineyard biocomposite was established under extreme conditions,observing significant differences between hydrated and dehydrated alginate-vineyard *** techniques used to carry out this morphological study consisted of scanning electron microscopy（SEM）,perfilometry and 3D surface analysis.
