Tourism impacts on society are complex and ***,they are vital to diverse societies,clusters,and individuals dependent upon their morals,attitudes,and resources existing for tourism *** tourism also brings many ***,tourist experience is fundamental for destination image and *** research examines tourist perceptions and attitudes toward tourism impacts in Chitkul,Kalpa,and Nako in *** sampling has been used to measure tourist responses on a range of indicators related to tourism *** scale responses were analyzed using factor analysis,ANOVA,Mann-Whitney U-test,Kolmogorov test,and descriptive *** results confirmed that tourists do not perceive any type of pollu-tion or societal *** observed that natural magnetism and the socio-cultural milieu of the destination is what attracts ***,tourists are not satisfied with‘networking services’,‘organization efforts’,‘sup-plementary conveniences’,and‘carriage concerns’at selected destinations in ***,Chitkul emerged as the top tourist destination in *** the destination would emerge as a hub of tourist activities shortly considering the congestion and exploitation of nearby tourist destinations at Kulu-Manali-Rohtang in Beas ***,the assessment of tourist perceptions can be used as an indicator of tourism destination competitiveness and can assist in developing appropriate tourism policies and infrastructure upgrades.

The human teeth and oral cavity harbor various populations of mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs),so called dental-derived stem cells(D-dSCs)with self-renewing and multilineage differentiation capabilities.D-dSCs properties involves a strong paracrine component resulting from the high levels of bioactive molecules they secrete in response to the local ***,this viewpoint develops a general picture of current innovative strategies to employ D-dSCs combined with biomaterials and bioactive factors for regenerative medicine purposes,and offers information regarding the available scientific data and possible applications.

Objective:To evaluate an aqueous preparation from the Azadirachta indica leaves(AEA) against Setaria cervi(***),a model filarial ***:In vitro efficacy of AEA was evaluated against *** through estimation of relative motility value,dye exclusion test and MTT *** morphological alterations were monitored using conventional microscopic techniques in microfilariae and haematoxylin-eosin stained sections of AEA-treated ***:Enhancement of reactive oxygen species in *** treated with AEA was established through alteration in the activity of glutathione S-transferase,superoxide dismutase,catalase,peroxidase and level of superoxide anion and reduced ***:In vitro filaricidal activity of AEA is possibly through disturbing redox homeostasis by down-regulating and altering the level of some key antioxidants and regulatory enzymes like reduced glutathione,glutathione S-transferase,superoxide dismutase,catalase and glutathione peroxidase of ***.

Lithocarpins E-G,featuring a rare naturally-occurring highly oxygenated tenellone-macrolide skeleton,were isolated from the culture extract of a marine-derived fungus Phomopsis lithocarpus *** structures were fully elucidated by NMR and MS spectroscopic analyses and electronic circular dichroism *** 1-3 were evaluated for their in vitro cytotoxicities against HepG2,MCF-7,SF-268,as well as A549 cell lines,among which,compound 1 exhibited inhibitory activity against HepG2 cells with an IC_(50) value of 6.3 μmol/*** further mechanistic investigation demonstrated that lithocarpin E could cause the apoptosis of HepG2 cells through activation of p-ERK,Bax,and caspase-3 gene expressions.

Objective:The objective of the study was to identify musculoskeletal problems(MSPs)among nursing *** and Methods:A nonexperimental research design was *** hundred and seventy nursing officers were selected by purposive sampling *** standardized Nordic questionnaire was used to assess the MSPs and self-structured three-point rating scale was used to assess expressed practice of body mechanics of nursing ***:The study findings revealed that 64.4% of nursing officers suffered from MSP such as ache,pain,and discomfort during the past 12 months and 43.7% during the past 7 *** problem in the low back and the neck were highest 45.1% and 22.2%,*** was followed by MSP of the upper back(14.0%),ankles(13.7%),knees(10.7%),shoulder(10.3%),hip/thighs(5.9%),wrists(4.4%),and elbows(3.3%).Around 49.2%complained that MSPs limit their *** was significant association of MSP with selected personal variables like body mass index(P=0.001)and family history(P=0.02).There were also significant association of expressed practices of body mechanics with gender(P=0.01),area of current work(P=0.00),professional experience(P=0.03)and physical activity(P=0.00).Conclusion:The study indicates the large number of nursing officers had MSPs with the two most common sites being the lower back and the *** creates a need for prompt hospital education programs aimed to create awareness among nursing officers on the prevalence of MSPs.

Estimation of Sex by Applying Discriminant Function Analysis on Osteo-metric Parameters of Clavicle in Population of Haryana

It is important to pinpoint the identity of the deceased in scenarios such as decomposed bodies,skeletonized remains,mutilated remains,exhumed dead bodies,and in mass *** are many important parameters to establish the identity of a *** estimation of sex is one of *** of sex from bones is easy when the whole skeleton is available,but it becomes difficult when the body is mutilated and only parts of the body or bones are *** present study is undertaken to estimate the sex by applying discriminant function analysis(DFA)on various osteo-metric parameters of the clavicle in the population of *** hundred pairs of clavicles were collected from the bodies brought for *** were macerated and air dried for the removal of soft *** variables of clavicle of both sexes were measured and analyzed using the analysis of variance test which provided descriptive *** of the values helped in sexing of the *** of sex from different parameters of the clavicle was possible with overall accuracy of 93%in original and 92.5%in crossvalidated cases among total *** was 96%and 90%in original and 96%and 89%in cross validated cases among males and females respectively,indicating a strong correlation in estimation of sex of a person from the *** most important parameters to determine the sex from the clavicle are length of clavicle,mid clavicular circumference of clavicle,weight of clavicle,transverse diameter of lateral end of right clavicle,and longitudinal diameter of medial end of the left clavicle.

The authors report a case of Large Anterior mediastinal mass in which Transoesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) revealed a large mass that was compressing the right atrium, SVC, henceforth, TEE helped in guiding aspiration and surgical resection of the cystic mass. Therefore, through this case report, authors emphasize the importance of performing intraoperative real-time TEE in the mediastinal mass. This imaging technique helps in visualizing the external compression of cardio-vascular structure and aid in their management, obviating the possibility of large vascular structures from being injured by the surgeon during intraoperative manipulation.

Background:Lymphatic filariasis(LF),a vector-borne parasitic disease,is endemic in several parts of India and mostly affects the poor or those with a *** disease results in huge numbers of morbidities,disabilities,and deaths every *** of co-infection with other pathogens makes the condition more *** co-infection is becoming a growing area of research,it is yet to emerge as a frontier research topic in filarial research *** study reports the occurrence of a fungal infection in a large number of patients suffering from bancroftian filariasis in two districts of West Bengal,***:Nocturnal blood samples from filarial patients containing parasites and fungus were initially co-cultured,and further the fungus was isolated and *** identification of the isolate was carried out by PCR-based selective amplification and sequencing of highly-conserved D1/D2 region of 26S rDNA,whereas pathogenicity was determined by amplification of the RPS0 gene.A phylogenetic tree was constructed to study the relationship between the isolate and common pathogenic *** isolate was studied for antibiotic sensitivity,whereas morphological characterization was performed by microscopic ***:The isolate was identified as Pichia guilliermondii and this fungus was found to exist in co-infection with Wuchereria bancrofti in filarial *** fungus showed resistance to azole antifungals,griseofulvin,and,amphotericin B,whereas significant susceptibility was evident in cases of nystatin and cycloheximide.A total of 197 out of 222 patients showed this ***:This study revealed,for the first time,that *** exists as a co-infection in microfilaraemic individuals living in a filarial endemic *** findings are important and have relevance to human health,especially for filarial patients.
