The neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy(HIE)is an important cause of neurological morbidity and mortality in *** therapy is considered a promising method for treating severe neurological disorders such as this *** cells have the capacity for self-renewal and differentiation into certain cell *** present study was aimed to find out the most beneficial route of bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells(BMSCs)administration for the attenuation of experimentally induced HIE in neonatal *** neonatal rats were divided randomly into four *** 1:control *** 2:rats were exposed to bilateral ligation of cephalic *** 3:rats were exposed to bilateral ligation of cephalic arteries and then underwent intravenous(IV)BMSC *** 4:rats were exposed to bilateral ligation of cephalic arteries and then underwent intracerebroventricular(ICV)BMSC *** animals were evaluated by(a)neurobehavioral tests;(b)histopathology,i.e.,histological and immuno-histochemical studies;and(3)gene expression *** BMSC treated groups(3 and 4)showed improvement in neurobehavioral tests,histopathological studies,and gene expression,as compared to non-injected lesioned rats(Group 2)with better improvement in Group 4(ICV injections)than in Group 3(IV injections).

Electrochemical techniques were applied to study the crevice corrosion resistance of two types of stainless steel alloys namely, conventional 316L and 6% Mo super austenitic in acidified 3% NaCl solution at room *** results showed that 6% Mo alloy possessed a remarkable resistance to crevice corrosion compared with 316L alloy when they are tested in the same solution. The breakdown potential at which passivity broke down for 316L alloy was 0.00 mV （SCE）. The corresponding value for 6% Mo alloy could not reach up to the potential value of 700 mV （SCE）. 316L alloy suffered extremely from crevice corrosion at room temperature （about 25℃）, which indicates that the critical crevice corrosion temperature, below which crevice corrosion does not occur, was lower than the test temperature. For 6% Mo alloy, the critical crevice corrosion temperature was higher than the testing temperature. Electrochemical parameters indicated that 6% Mo alloy exhibited higher crevice corrosion resistance than 316L alloy.

The recent studies had focused on the fatigue crack propagation behaviors of α＋β titanium alloys with Widmanstatten microstructure. The fascinated interest of this type of microstructure is due to the superior fatigue crack propagation resistance and fracture toughness as compared to other microstructures,which was believed to be related to the fatigue crack tip plastic zone（CTPZ）. In this study, the plastic deformation in fatigue CTPZ of Ti-6 A1-4 V titanium alloy with Widmanstatten microstructure was characterized by scanning electron microscope（SEM） and electron backscatter diffraction（EBSD）. The results showed that large-scale slipping and deformation twinning were generated in fatigue CTPZ due to the crystallographic feature of the Widmanstatten microstructure. The activation of twinning was related to the rank of Schmid factor（SF） and the diversity of twin variants developing behaviors reflected the influence of SF rank. The sizes of CTPZ under different stress intensity factors（K） were examined by the white-light coherence method, and the results revealed that the range of the plastic zone is enlarged with the increasing K（or crack length）, while the plastic strain decreased rapidly with the increasing distance from the crack surface. The large-scale slipping and deformation twinning in Widmannstatten microstructure remarkably expanded the range of fatigue CTPZ, which would lead to the obvious larger size of the observed CTPZ than that of the theoretically calculated size.

In this paper,a joint analysis consisting of goodness-of-fit tests and Markov chain Monte Carlo simulations are used to assess the performance of some ranked set sampling *** Markov chain Monte Carlo simulations are conducted when Bayesian methods with Jeffery’s priors of the unknown parameters of Weibull distribution are used,while the goodness of fit analysis is conducted when the likelihood estimators are used and the corresponding empirical distributions are *** ranked set sampling designs considered in this research are the usual ranked set sampling,extreme ranked set sampling,median ranked set sampling,and neoteric ranked set sampling *** intensive Monte Carlo simulation study is conducted using Lindley’s approximation algorithm to compute the different designs’-based *** study showed that the dependent design“neoteric ranked set sampling design”is superior to other ranked set designs and the total relative efficiency is higher than the other designs’total relative efficiency.

The heat-affected zone(HAZ) of electron beam welded(EBW) joint normally undergoes a unique heat-treating process consisting of rapid temperature rising and dropping stages, resulting in temperature-gradient in HAZ as a function of the distance to fusion zone(FZ). In the current work,microstructure, elements distribution and crystallographic orientation of three parts(near base material(BM) zone, mid-HAZ and near-FZ) in the HAZ of Ti-6Al-4V alloy were systematically investigated. The microstructure observation revealed that the microstructural variation from near-BM to near-FZ included the reduction of primary α(αp) grains, the increase of transformed β structure(βt) and the formation of various α structures. The rim-α, dendritic α and abnormal secondary α(αs) colonies formed in the mid-HAZ, while the "ghost" structures grew in the near-FZ respectively. The electron probe microanalyzer(EPMA) and electron back-scattered diffraction(EBSD) technologies were employed to evaluate the elements diffusion and texture evolution during the unique thermal process of welding. The formation of the various α structures in the HAZ were discussed based on the EPMA and EBSD results. Finally, the nanoindentation hardness of "ghost" structures was presented and compared with nearby βt regions.

During this professional research--Construction Project Forecasting （Practical Use of EV Metrics）, which criticize earned value management as a most distinguished methodology for forecasting the project expected end dates and expecting budget at completion, the field for the research is construction field and specially the projects which content different phases without repetitive tasks. Forecasting for construction project is a complicated process need more than applying one equation only. As assuming that, project performance during finishing stage will be similar to project performance during concrete stage is totally wrong. The case study techniques have been used to prove an important idea and also to implement a suggested protocol which actually implemented and tested and it should be considered as a research finding. The project used in this case study is ＂Hurgadah Intemational Airport--New Terminal Building＂, while executing this complex construction projects with different stages the forecasting for the project end date and final end budget were completely not realistic. The above leads to questioning the next：＂Is it true that using the earned value indexes for forecasting construction projects end date and final budget is the right way？ And if not, what is the right process that should be used in order to reach acceptable forecasting method？＂ We implement the EV measurements by the normal technique and also implement in the same month the suggested protocol for forecasting, comparing the results proof the effectiveness of the suggested protocol. The findings prove that, the construction projects need special treatment when use the EVM for forecasting. The earned value indexes created to serve the projects which have repeated tasks or can say which got one stage only, like information technology （IT） projects as those projects depending on manpower productivity and also based on few different qualifications. The influence of fly ash(FA)applied alone and/or with sewage sludge(SS)on wheat(Triticum vulgare)grain yield,biomass production and soil properties was studied in a field *** results showed that both FA and SS significantly increased grain yield and plant *** applied alone increased significantly soil pH and EC while FA applied together with SS did not significantly affect them compared to mono FA *** pH and EC values increased with time in FA and FA-SS *** increased soil organic matter and total N content and SS applied together with FA increased also available soil *** the plant nutrients tested only tissue N concentration was increased significantly in all treatments compared to ***,Zn,Mn,Ni,and Pb at both available and total concentrations are significantly affected.

The purpose of this study was to investigate how well whey might protect against aging related alterations in sperm structure,seminal and antioxidant enzymes and serum hormonal *** Wistar albino rats aged 8 and 30-months were divided into two primary groups with or without whey supplementation(n=8).After the experiments of whey supplementation,the rats were euthanized,blood was collected,and serum was *** ultrastructure and flow cytometry of annexin-V and mitochondrial membrane potential were carried *** antioxidant and malondialdehyde concentrations were *** hormonal profiles of testosterone,growth(GH),follicle stimulating hormone(FSH),luteinizing hormone(LH)and thyroid stimulating hormone(TSH)as well as pituitary gland ultrastructure were *** showed that whey supplementation improved the structure and function of sperm and seminal fluid as well as the serum hormonal levels of *** aged rats,whey supplementation increased the serum levels of GH,FSH,LH and TSH as well as seminal superoxide *** supplementation also caused reduction of seminal alkaline and acid phosphatases and lipid peroxidation in aged rat compared to that in adult *** also improved sperm motility and viability but reduced sperm abnormalities by increasing sperm mitochondrial membrane potential and lowering annexin v *** conclusion,whey contains antioxidant components that alleviated oxidative stress involved in damaging sperm macromolecules during aging process.
