Education acts as an important part of economic growth and improvement in human *** educational sectors have transformed a lot in recent days,and Information and Communication Technology(ICT)is an effective part of the education *** every action in university and college,right from the process fromcounselling to admissions and fee deposits has been *** records,quiz,evaluation,mark,and grade submissions involved the utilization of the ***,security is essential to accomplish cybersecurity in higher security institutions(HEIs).In this view,this study develops an Automated Outlier Detection for Cybersecurity in Higher Education Institutions(AOD-CsHEI)*** AOD-CsHEI technique intends to determine the presence of intrusions or attacks in the *** AOD-CsHEI technique initially performs data pre-processing in two stages namely data conversion and class *** addition,the Adaptive synthetic(ADAsYN)technique is exploited for the removal of outliers in the ***,the sparrow search algorithm(ssA)with deep neural network(DNN)model is used for the classification of data into the existence or absence of intrusions in the HEIs ***,the ssA is utilized to effectually adjust the hyper parameters of the DNN *** order to showcase the enhanced performance of the AOD-CsHEI technique,a set of simulations take place on three benchmark datasets and the results reported the enhanced efficiency of the AOD-CsHEI technique over its compared methods with higher accuracy of 0.9997.

Hybridizing metaheuristic algorithms involves synergistically combining different optimization techniques to effectively address complex and challenging optimization *** approach aims to leverage the strengths of multiple algorithms,enhancing solution quality,convergence speed,and robustness,thereby offering a more versatile and efficient means of solving intricate real-world optimization *** this paper,we introduce a hybrid algorithm that amalgamates three distinct metaheuristics:the Beluga Whale Optimization(BWO),the Honey Badger Algorithm(HBA),and the Jellyfish search(Js)*** proposed hybrid algorithm will be referred to as *** this fusion,the BHJO algorithm aims to leverage the strengths of each *** this hybridization,we thoroughly examined the exploration and exploitation capabilities of the BWO,HBA,and Js metaheuristics,as well as their ability to strike a balance between exploration and *** meticulous analysis allowed us to identify the pros and cons of each algorithm,enabling us to combine them in a novel hybrid approach that capitalizes on their respective strengths for enhanced optimization *** addition,the BHJO algorithm incorporates Opposition-Based Learning(OBL)to harness the advantages offered by this technique,leveraging its diverse exploration,accelerated convergence,and improved solution quality to enhance the overall performance and effectiveness of the hybrid ***,the performance of the BHJO algorithm was evaluated across a range of both unconstrained and constrained optimization problems,providing a comprehensive assessment of its efficacy and applicability in diverse problem ***,the BHJO algorithm was subjected to a comparative analysis with several renowned algorithms,where mean and standard deviation values were utilized as evaluation *** rigorous comparison aimed to assess the performance of the BHJOalgorithmabout its counterparts,shedd

Non-equilibrium solidification structures of Cu55Ni45 and Cu55Ni43Co2 alloys were prepared by the molten glass purification cycle superheating *** variation of the recalescence phenomenon with the degree of undercooling in the rapid solidification process was investigated using an infrared *** addition of the Co element affected the evolution of the recalescence phenomenon in Cu-Ni *** images of the solid-liquid interface migration during the rapid solidification of supercooled melts were captured by using a high-speed *** solidification rate of Cu-Ni alloys,with the addition of Co elements,was ***,the grain refinement structure with low supercooling was characterised using electron backscatter diffraction(EBsD).The effect of Co on the microstructural evolution during nonequilibrium solidification of Cu-Ni alloys under conditions of small supercooling is investigated by comparing the microstructures of Cu55Ni45 and Cu55Ni43Co2 *** experimental results show that the addition of a small amount of Co weakens the recalescence behaviour of the Cu55Ni45 alloy and significantly reduces the thermal strain in the rapid solidification *** the rapid solidification phase,the thermal strain is greatly reduced,and there is a significant increase in the characteristic undercooling ***,the addition of Co and the reduction of Cu not only result in a lower solidification rate of the alloy,but also contribute to the homogenisation of the grain size.

In recent years, there has been a growing interest in researching and developing new antimicrobial agents from various sources to combat microbial resistance. Therefore, a greater attention has been paid to antimicrobial activity screening and evaluating methods. several bioassays such as disk-diffusion, well diffusion and broth or agar dilution are well known and commonly used, but others such as flow cy- tofluorometric and bioluminescent methods are not widely used because they require specified equip- ment and further evaluation for reproducibility and standardization, even if they can provide rapid re- sults of the antimicrobial agent＇s effects and a better understanding of their impact on the viability and cell damage inflicted to the tested microorganism. In this review article, an exhaustive list of in vitro antimicrobial susceptibility testing methods and detailed information on their advantages and limita- tions are reported.

Protective effects of Balanites aegyptiaca extract, melatonin and ursodeoxycholic acid against hepatotoxicity induced by methotrexate in male rats

Objective: To compare the degree of ameliorative effects of Melatonin(MEL), Ursodeoxycholic acid(UDCA) and Balanites aegyptiaca(BA) against hepatotoxicity induced by MTX for one month. Methods: Eighty adult male rats(sprague Dawely) weighing(190±10g), were randomly divided into eight equal groups: Control, MTX, MEL, BA, UDCA, MTX+MEL, MTX+BA, MTX+UDCA. Liver function biomarker enzymes, liver tissue oxidative stress parameters, together with total antioxidant capacity and tumor necrosis factor(TNF-α) were determined. Histopathological and immunohistochemistry examinations for TNF-α were also done. Results: MTX showed significant increase in alanine transaminase(ALT), aspartate transaminase(AsT), alkaline phosphatase(ALP), gamma glutamyl transferase(GGT), total and direct bilirubin, as well as TNF-α levels, oxidized glutathione(GssG), malodialdehyde(MDA) and nitric oxide(NO). whereas, total protein, albumin, total antioxidant capacity, reduced glutathione(GsH), glutathione peroxidase(GPx), glutathione reductase(GR), glutathione s-transferase(GsT), superoxide dismutase(sOD) and catalase(CAT) levels were significantly decreased in MTX treated group. These alterations were improved by MEL and BA treatment, whereas no improvement was noticed in UDCA treatment. Conclusions: BA may be as promising as MEL in the hepatoprotection against MTX toxicity through their antioxidant and radical scavenging activities. In addition, it is not recommended to co-administer UDCA with MTX as it enhanced inflammation and damage to the liver.

Recognition of motor imagery tasks for BCI using CsP and chaotic PsO twin sVM

Accurate modeling and recognition of the brain activity patterns for reliable communication and interaction are still a challenging task for the motor imagery （MI） brain-computer interface （BCI） system. In this paper, we propose a common spatial pattern （CsP） and chaotic particle swarm optimization （CPsO） twin support vector machine （TWsVM） scheme for classification of MI electroencephalography （EEG）. The self-adaptive artifact removal and CsP were used to obtain the most distinguishable features. To improve the recognition results, CPsO was employed to tune the hyper-parameters of the TWsVM classifier. The usefulness of the proposed method was evaluated using the BCI competition IV-IIa dataset. The experimental results showed that the mean recognition accuracy of our proposed method was increased by 5.35%, 4.33%, 0.78%, 1.45%, and 9.26% compared with the CPsO support vector machine （sVM）, particle swarm optimization （PsO） TWsVM, linear discriminant analysis （LDA）, back propagation （BP） and probabilistic neural network （PNN）, respectively. Furthermore, it achieved a faster or comparable central processing unit （CPU） running time over the traditional sVM methods.

This study addresses two issues about the interaction of the upper limb rehabilitation robot with individuals who have *** first step is to estimate the human's target position(also known as TPH).The second step is to develop a robust adaptive impedance control mechanism.A novel Non-singular Terminal sliding Mode Control combined with an adaptive super-twisting controller is being developed to achieve this *** combination's purpose is to provide high reliability,continuous performance tracking of the system's *** proposed adaptive control strategy reduces matched dynamic uncertainty while also lowering chattering,which is the sliding mode's most glaring *** proposed TPH is coupled with adaptive impedance control with the use of a Radial Basis Function Neural Network,which allows a robotic exoskeleton to simply track the desired impedance *** validate the approach in real-time,an exoskeleton robot was deployed in controlled experimental circumstances.A comparison study has been set up to show how the adaptive impedance approach proposed is better than other traditional controllers.

Associations between CD133,CK19 and G2/M in cirrhotic HCV(genotype-4)patients with or without accompanying tumor

Hepatitis C virus(HCV)-cirrhotic patients have the highest threat of developing hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)and may be at risk of extra hepatic *** present study was designed to investigate CD133 and CK19 in HCV(genotype-4)-cirrhotic patients with/without HCC or extra hepatic cancer,to assess the degree of their correlation with cell cycle abnormalities and finally to assess the role of their combination as diagnostic tool for discrimination of cirrhotic patients with HCC from those with extra hepatic *** study included 77 HCV-cirrhotic patients and 20 healthy non-disease control *** were categorized histo-pathologically into:24 have only liver cirrhosis,26 with HCC,and 27 patients with extra hepatic *** cycle abnormalities,CD133 and CK19 were determined by flow cytometry ***133 and CK19 showed marked elevation in HCC and extra hepatic cancer compared with liver cirrhosis and control subjects(psitive associations were noted between CK19,CD133 and G2/*** were gradually increased with progression from liver cirrhosis to *** of the three showed the best AUC(0.978)and accuracy(92.5%)for discrimination of HCC from extra hepatic *** CD133 with G2/M and CK19 comprises an excellent diagnostic panel for discrimination of HCV-cirrhotic patients with HCC from those with extra hepatic cancer.

Photovoltaic yield prediction using an irradiance forecast model based on multiple neural networks

In order to develop predictive control algorithms for efficient energy management and monitoring for residential grid connected photovoltaic systems, accurate and reliable photovoltaic(PV) power forecasts are required.A PV yield prediction system is presented based on an irradiance forecast model and a PV model. The PV power forecast is obtained from the irradiance forecast using the PV model. The proposed irradiance forecast model is based on multiple feed-forward neural networks. The global horizontal irradiance forecast has a mean absolute percentage error of 3.4% on a sunny day and 23% on a cloudy day for stuttgart. PV power forecasts based on the neural network irradiance forecast have performed much better than the PV power persistence forecast model.

This paper presents a restricted sIRmathematicalmodel to analyze the evolution of a contagious infectious disease outbreak(COVID-19)using available *** new model focuses on two main concepts:first,it can present multiple waves of the disease,and second,it analyzes how far an infection can be eradicated with the help of *** stability analysis of the equilibrium points for the suggested model is initially investigated by identifying the matching equilibrium points and examining their *** basic reproduction number is calculated,and the positivity of the solutions is *** simulations are performed to determine if it is multipeak and evaluate vaccination’s *** addition,the proposed model is compared to the literature already published and the effectiveness of vaccination has been recorded.
