Densities, Ultrasonic Speeds, Viscosities and Refractive Indices of Binary Mixtures of Benzene with Benzyl Alcohol,Benzonitrile, Benzoyl Chloride and Chlorobenzene at 303.15 k

Densities, ρ, ultrasonic speeds, u , viscosities, η , and refractive indices, n , of pure benzene, benzyl alcohol (BA), benzonitrile (Bn), benzoyl chloride (BC), chlorobenzene (CB) and their thirty six binary mixtures, with benzene as common component, were measured at 303.15 k over the entire mole fraction range. From these experimental data the values of deviations in ultrasonic speed, Δ u , isentropic compressibility, Δk s , excess acoustic impedance, Z E , deviation in viscosity, Δη, and excess Gibbs free energy of activation of viscous flow, G *E , and partial molar isentropic compressibility, of BA, Bn, BC and CB in benzene were computed. The variation of these derived functions with composition of the mixtures suggested the increased cohesion (molecular order) in the solution and that interaction (A‐B)>(A‐A) or (B‐B). Moreover, theoretical prediction of ultrasonic speed, viscosity and refractive index of all the four binary mixtures was made on the basis of empirical and semi‐empirical relations by using the experimental values of the pure components. Comparison of theoretical results with the experimental values was made in order to assess the suitability of these relations in reproducing the experimental values of u , η and n . Also, molecular radii of pure liquids and the average molecular radii of binary mixtures were evaluated using the corresponding refractive indices of pure liquids and binary mixtures. The average molecular radii of binary mixtures were found to be additive with respect to mole fraction of the pure component.

Comparative measurement of CO_(2),CH_(4)and CO at two traffic interjunctions having inflated vehicular flow in Delhi

Vehicular emissions are considered one of the major anthropogenic sources of greenhouse gases and poor air quality in metropolitan *** study aims to see the correlation of CO_(2),CH_(4),and CO through monitoring over a period from December 2020 to October 2021 covering three seasons’winter,summer,and monsoon at two different traffic locations of Delhi having different traffic volumes,road patterns,and traffic *** annual average morning concentration of CO_(2),CH_(4)and CO was found(533±105),(7.3±3.1),(10.7±3.0)ppm at najafgarh and(480±70),(5.2±1.8),(7.8±2.8)ppm at Rajendra Place,respectively.A relationship between concentration of all three gases and meteorological parameters such as temperature,humidity,wind speed and wind direction has also been investigated using Pearson correlation coefficient and pollution rose diagram.A comparable pattern in concentration was observed for all three gases in spatial(location)and temporal(diurnal)*** concentration trend of CO_(2)in different seasons is winter>summer>monsoon,while in the case of CH_(4)winter=summer>monsoon but not any seasonal trend was noted in CO *** is observed that CO_(2)has a good relation with CO(a tracer for vehicular emission)in terms of diurnal variation,whereas,CH_(4)does not represent a relation with CO and CO_(2)diurnally,suggesting that vehicles are the source of CO_(2)but not much contributing to other greenhouse gases like CH_(4).

In today’s manufacturing industries,hard competition between rival firms makes it compulsory for researchers to design lighter and cheaper machine components due to the megatrends of cost-effectiveness and *** this point,aluminum syntactic foams(ASFs)are new-generation engineering composites and come into the upfront as a *** to their features like low density,sufficient elongation,and perfect energy absorption ability,these advanced foams have been considerably seductive for many industrial sectors *** this study,an industrial-oriented automatic die casting technology was used for the first time to manufacture the combination of AA7075/porous expanded clay(PEC).Micro evaluations(optical and FESEM)reveal that there is a homogenous particle distribution in the foam samples,and inspections are compatible with the other ASF ***,T6 aging heat treatment was operated on one half of the produced foams to explore the probable impact of aging on the compressive *** results show that PEC particles can be an alternative to expensive hollow spheres used in the previous ***,a favorable relationship is ascertained between the aging treatment and mechanical properties such as compression strength and plateau strength.

A survey on automatic dashboard recommendation systems

This paper presents a survey on automatic or semi-automatic recommendation systems that help users create *** starts by showing the important role that dashboards play in data science,and gives an informal definition of dashboards,i.e.,a set of visualizations possibly with linkage,a screen layout and user *** are mainly interested in systems that use a fully or partially automatic mechanism to recommend dashboards to *** automation includes the suggestion of data and visualizations,the optimization of the layout and the use of user *** position our work with respect to existing *** from a set of over 1000 papers,we have selected and analyzed 19 papers/systems along several *** main dimensions were the set of considered visualizations,the suggestion method,the utility/objective functions,the layout,and the user *** conclude by highlighting the main achievements in this domain and by proposing perspectives.

C-phycocyanin shows neuroprotective effect against rotenone-induced Parkinson’s disease in mice

Objective:To investigate the neuroprotective effect of C-phycocyanin in a mouse model of rotenone-induced Parkinson’s ***:C-phycocyanin(50 mg/kg,i.p.,daily)was administered to rotenone(30 mg/kg,p.o.,daily)treated mice for 28 *** studies(Y-maze,rotarod,round beam walk,and wire-hang tests)were carried out to assess neurobehavioral *** and malondialdehyde were determined in both serum and striatal *** proteins(AkT,AMPk,nF-κB,BDnF,and alpha-synuclein)in the striatum were estimated using *** analyses(hematoxylin and eosin stainning as well as nissl staining)were carried out to assess structural abnormalities in the ***:C-phycocyanin significantly increased BDnF levels and decreased alpha-synuclein *** also slightly upregulated AMPk and AkT levels without significant difference compared with the rotenone ***,rotenone-induced elevated oxidative stress and structural abnormalities in the striatum were markedly mitigated by ***:C-phycocyanin might have potential neuroprotective effects against Parkinson’s *** studies are warranted to verify its efficacy and to understand the molecular mechanisms behind the neuroprotective effects of C-phycocyanin in Parkinson’s disease.

Atherosclerotic plaque classification in carotid ultrasound images using machine learning and explainable deep learning

Dispersion effect of nano-structure pyrolytic carbon on mechanical,electrical,and microstructural characteristics of cement mortar composite

In material science,converting waste into nanomaterials by green technologies highlights the interest in producing sus-tainable carbon nanomaterial(SCn).This study first-ever uti-lized tyre-char as a nano-Structure Pyrolytic Carbon(nSPC)to develop electrically conductive *** other car-bon nanomaterials,the efficiency of nSPC particle as an SCn in developing electrically conductive composites was investi-gated in terms of dispersion,mechanical,water absorption,electrical resistivity,and *** results of sedi-mentation and zeta potential(-19 mV)showed the excellent dispersion of nSPC particle in water with the combined effect of superplasticizer and *** compressive(40.37%)and flexural strength(10.76%)than that of plain cement mortar composite(CMC)is achieved with 2 wt.%and 1.5 wt.%of nSPC particle,*** water absorption rate and volume of permeable voids were reduced,exhibiting less *** percolation zone of AC and DC resis-tivity of nSPC composite ranges between 1 and 2 wt.%,and the established percolation threshold is at 2 wt.%.XRD analysis showed C-S-H formation consistently increased with curing age,and HR-SEM with EDAX analysis exhibits the dense micro-structure and well-distributed nSPC particle at the *** experimental outcomes significantly enhanced the relia-bility and provided a framework for tailoring nSPC particle as SCn for developing electrically conductive composite.

Evaluation of slope stability through rock mass classification and kinematic analysis of some major slopes along nH-1A from Ramban to Banihal, north Western Himalayas

The network of Himalayan roadways and highways connects some remote regions of valleys or hill slopes,which is vital for India’s socio-economic *** to natural and artificial factors,frequency of slope instabilities along the networks has been increasing over last few *** of stability of natural and artificial slopes due to construction of these connecting road networks is significant in safely executing these roads throughout the *** rock mass classification methods are generally used to assess the strength and deformability of rock *** study assesses slope stability along the nH-1A of Ramban district of north Western *** structurally and non-structurally controlled rock mass classification systems have been applied to assess the stability conditions of 14 *** evaluating the stability of these slopes,kinematic analysis was performed along with geological strength index(GSI),rock mass rating(RMR),continuous slope mass rating(CoSMR),slope mass rating(SMR),and Q-slope in the present *** SMR gives three slopes as completely unstable while CoSMR suggests four slopes as completely *** stability of all slopes was also analyzed using a design chart under dynamic and static conditions by slope stability rating(SSR)for the factor of safety(FoS)of 1.2 and 1 respectively.Q-slope with probability of failure(PoF)1%gives two slopes as stable *** slope angle has been determined based on the Q-slope safe angle equation and SSR design chart based on the *** value ranges given by different empirical classifications were RMR(37-74),GSI(27.3-58.5),SMR(11-59),and CoSMR(3.39-74.56).Good relationship was found among RMR&SSR and RMR&GSI with correlation coefficient(R 2)value of 0.815 and 0.6866,***,a comparative stability of all these slopes based on the above classification has been performed to identify the most critical slope along this road.

Red blood cells(RBCs)are the most abundant human blood *** aggregation and deformation strongly determine blood viscosity which impacts hemorheology and *** turn,RBC properties depend on di®erent endogenous and exogenous *** such factor is nitric oxide(nO),which is mainly produced by endothelial cells(EC)from L-arginine amino acid in the circulatory *** the mechanisms of the RBC-endothelium interplay are not clear up to date and considering its possible clinical importance,the aims of this study are to investigate in vitro:(1)The e®ect of L-arginine induced nO on RBC aggregation and adhesion to endothelium;(2)the nO e®ect on RBC aggregation and deformation induced by L-arginine and sodium nitroprusside without the presence of endothelium in the *** RBC aggregation and adhesion to a monolayer of EC were studied using optical tweezers(OT).The RBC deformability and aggregation without endothelium in the samples were studied using the°ow chamber method and Myrenne *** con¯rmed that nO increases deformability and decreases aggregation of *** showed that the soluble guanylate cyclase pathway appears to be the only nO signaling pathway *** the samples with the endothelium,the\bell-shaped"dependence of RBC aggregation force on L-arginine concentration was observed,which improves our knowledge about the process of nO production by ***,data related to L-arginine accumulation by endothelium were obtained:necessity of the presence of extracellular L-arginine stated by other authors was put under *** our study,nO decreased the RBC-endothelium adhesion,however,the tendency appeared to be weak and was not con¯rmed in another set of *** our knowledge,this is the¯rst attempt to measure the forces of RBC adhesion to endothelium monolayer with OT.
