Objective:To scrutinize the definitions of minimal invasive surgical therapy(MIsT)and to investigate urologists’knowledge,attitudes,and practices for benign prostatic obstruction ***:A 36-item survey was developed with a Delphi *** on definitions of MIsT and attitudes and practices of benign prostatic obstruction surgeries were *** were invited globally to complete the online *** was achieved when more than or equal to 70%responses were“agree or strongly agree”and less than or equal to 15%responses were“disagree or strongly disagree”(consensus agree),or when more than or equal to 70%responses were“disagree or strongly disagree”and less than or equal to 15%responses were“agree or strongly agree”(consensus disagree).Results:The top three qualities for defining MIsT were minimal blood loss(n=466,80.3%),fast post-operative recovery(n=431,74.3%),and short hospital stay(n=425,73.3%).The top three surgeries that were regarded as MIsT were Urolift®(n=361,62.2%),Rezum®(n=351,60.5%),and endoscopic enucleation of the prostate(EEP)(n=332,57.2%).Consensus in the knowledge section was achieved for the superiority of Urolift®,Rezum®,and iTIND®over transurethral resection of the prostate with regard to blood loss,recovery,day surgery feasibility,and post-operative *** in the attitudes section was achieved for the superiority of Urolift®,Rezum®,and iTIND®over transurethral resection of the prostate with regard to blood loss,recovery,and day surgery *** on both sections was achieved for EEP as the option with the better symptoms and flow improvement,lower retreatment rate,and better suitable for prostate more than 80 ***:Minimal blood loss,fast post-operative recovery,and short hospital stay were the most important qualities for defining ***®,Rezum®,and EEP were regarded as MIsT by most urologists.

Radionuclide migration in aquatic environment is influenced by its sorption onto colloids/mineral oxides and the presence of organic complexing *** a view to understand the sorption of trivalent actinides by mineral oxides in presence of organic acid,in the present study,Eu(Ⅲ),malonic acid(MA)andγ-alumina are considered as representatives of trivalent actinides,low molecular weight natural occurring organic acid and aluminol sites,*** influence of MA on sorption of Eu(Ⅲ)byγ-alumina was elucidated by batch sorption,spectroscopic techniques and surface complexation modeling,for the first *** Total Reflection-Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopic studies of MA sorbed onγ-alumina revealed the presence of two inner-sphere surface *** sorption for binary(alumina-Eu(Ⅲ))and ternary(alumina-Eu(Ⅲ)-MA)systems were investigated as a function of p H,Eu(Ⅲ)concentration and sequential addition of Eu(Ⅲ)/*** p H edge for Eu(Ⅲ)sorption shifts to higher p H with increasing Eu(Ⅲ)*** ternary systems,Eu(Ⅲ)sorption is significantly enhanced at p Hspeciation onγ-alumina is independent of addition sequence of Eu(Ⅲ)/*** resolved fluorescence spectroscopy of Eu(Ⅲ)sorbed onγ-alumina exhibited two surface species,≡XOEu^2+and(≡YO)2 Eu^(+).The enhancement in I 616/I 592 and lifetime for ternary systems,as compared to binary system,at low p H,indicates the participation of Eu-MA complexes in the formation of surface species in ternary *** diffuse layer model has been employed to successfully model the experimental sorption profiles of binary and ternary systems,using code FITEQL 4.0,by considering the surface species identified by spectroscopic techniques.

AIM: To investigate the relationship between certain biochemical parameters of lipid metabolism in the serum and steatosis in the ***: The grade of steatosis (0-3) and histological activity index (HAI, 0-18) in liver biopsy specimens were correlated with serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT), total cholesterol and triglyceride levels in 142 patients with chronic hepatitis C (CH-C), and 28 patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) without hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection. The serum parameters were further correlated with 1 797 age and sex matched control patients without any liver ***: steatosis was detected in 90 out of 142 specimens (63%) with CH-C. The ALT levels correlated with the grade of steatosis, both in patients with CH-C and NAFLD (P＜0.01). Inserting the score values of steatosis as part of the HAI, correlation with the ALT level (P＜0.00001) was found. The triglyceride and cholesterol levels were significantly lower in patients with CH-C (with and without steatosis), compared to the NAFLD group and to the virus-free control ***: Our study confirms the importance of liver steatosis in CH-C which correlates with lower lipid levels in the sera. Inclusion of the score of steatosis into HAI, in case of CH-C might reflect the alterations in the liver tissue more precisely, while correlating with the ALT enzyme elevation.

As a generalization of an orthodox semigroup in the class of regular semigroups, a type W semigroup was first investigated by El-Qallali and Fountain. As an analogy of the type W semigroups in the class of abundant semigroups, we introduce the U-orthodox semigroups. It is shown that the maximum congruence μ contained in on U-orthodox semigroups can be determined. As a consequence, we show that a U-orthodox semigroup s can be expressed by the spined product of a Hall semigroup W U and a V-ample semigroup (T,V). This theorem not only generalizes a known result of Hall-Yamada for orthodox semigroups but also generalizes another known result of El-Qallali and Fountain for type W semigroups.

In the present article, the linear and the nonlinear deformation behaviour of functionally graded （FG） spherical shell panel are examined under thermomechanical load. The temperature- dependent effective material properties of FG shell panel are evaluated using Voigt＇s micro-mechanical rule in conjunction with power-law distribution. The nonlinear mathematical model of the FG shell panel is developed based on higher-order shear deformation theory and Green-Lagrange type geometrical nonlinearity. The desired nonlinear governing equation of the FG shell panel is computed using the variational principle. The model is discretised through suitable nonlinear finite element steps and solved using direct iterative method. The convergence and the val- idation behaviour of the present numerical model are performed to show the efficacy of the model. The effect of different parameters on the nonlinear deformation behaviour of FG spherical shell panel is highlighted by solving numerous examples.

A study of the effects of passive vortex generators （VGs） on Aludra unmanned aerial vehicle （UAV） aerodynamic characteristics is presented. Both experimental and numerical works are carried out where an array of VGs is attached on Aludra UAV＇s wing. The flow measurements are made at various angles of attack by using 3-axis component balance system. In the numerical investigation, the Reynolds-averaged Navier-stokes （RANs） code FLUENT 6.3TM is used in the simulations with fully structured mesh with spalart-Allmaras （s-A） turbulence model and standard wall function. The comparison between the experimental and numerical results reveals a satisfactory agreement. The parametric study shows that higher maximum lift coefficient is achieved when the VGs are placed nearer to the separation point. In addition to this, shorter spanwise distance between the VGs also increases the maximum lift coefficient, rectangular and curve-edge VG performs better than triangular VG.

In our simplified description‘wealth’is money(m).A kinetic theory of a gas like model of money is investigated where two agents interact(trade)selectively and exchange some amount of money between them so that sum of their money is unchanged and thus total money of all the agents remains *** probability distributions of individual money(P(m)vs.m)is seen to be influenced by certain ways of selective *** distributions shift away from Boltzmann-Gibbs like the exponential distribution,and in some cases distributions emerge with power law tails known as Pareto’s law(P(m)/m−(1+®)).The power law is also observed in some other closely related conserved and discrete models.A discussion is provided with numerical support to obtain insight into the emergence of power laws in such models.
