Radiative capture p+^(9)Be→^(10)B+γ at energies bearing astrophysical importance is a key process for the spectroscopic study of ^(10)*** this work,we consider the radiative capture cross-section for the ^(9)Be(p,γ)^(10)B within the framework of the potential model and the R-matrix method for the multi-entrance channel *** certain cases,when the potential fails,therefore,the R-matrix approach is better to use for the description of partial components of the cross-section that have sharp or broad *** all possible electric and magnetic dipole transitions,partial components of the astrophysical s-factor are *** computed value of the total s-factor at zero energy is consistent with the reported results.

sodium ion batteries (sIBs) are alternatives to lithium ion batteries (LIBs), and offer some significant benefits such as cost reduction and a lower environmental impact;however, to compete with LIBs, further research is required to improve the performance of sIBs. In this study, an orthorhombic Na super ionic conductor structural Fe_(2)(moO_(4))_(3) nanosheet with amorphous-crystalline core-shell alignment was synthesized using a facile low-temperature water-vapor-assisted solid-state reaction and applied as a cathode material for sIBs. The obtained material has a well-defined three-dimensional stacking structure, and exhibits a high specific capacity of 87.8 mAh·g^(−1) at a current density of 1 C = 91 mA·g^(−1) after 1,000 cycles, which is due to the considerable contribution of extra surface-related reaction such as the pseudo-capacitive process. This material shows significantly improved cycling and rated behavior as well as enhanced performance under high- and low-temperature conditions, as compared to the same materials prepared by the conventional high-temperature solid-state reaction. This enhancement is explained by the unique morphology in combination with the improved kinetics of the electrochemical reaction due to its lower charge transfer resistance and higher sodium ion conductivity.

Dislocation structures in polycrystalline Ni 3Al alloy doped with palladium deformed at room temperature have been investigated by transmission electron microscopy. The structure consists mainly of dislocations dissociated into a /2〈011〉 super partials bounding an anti phase boundary (APB). Dislocations dissociated into a /3〈112〉 super shockley partials bounding a superlattice intrinsic stacking fault (sIsF) are also common debris. The majority of the sIsFs are truncated loops, i.e. the partials bounding the sIsF are of similar Burgers vector. These faulted loops are generated from APB coupled dislocations, according to a mechanism for formation of sIsFs proposed by suzuki et al , and recently modified by Chiba et al . The APB energies for {111} and {010} slip planes are measured to be 144±20 mJ/m 2 and 102±11 mJ/m 2 respectively, and the sIsF energy has been estimated to be 12 mJ/m 2 in this alloy. It is concluded that the dislocation structure in Ni 74.5 Pd 2Al 23.5 alloy deformed at room temperature is similar to that in binary Ni 3Al, and the difference in fault energies between these two alloys is small. Thus, it seems.un.ikely that the enhancement of ductility of Ni 74.5 Pd 2Al 23.5 results from only such a small decrease of the ordering energy of the alloy. sIsF bounding dislocations also have no apparent influence on the ductilization of Ni 74.5 Pd 2Al 23.5 alloy.

We investigate the impact of Ni insertion on the structural,optical,and magnetic properties of Ba_(0.8)La_(0.2)Fe_(12-x)Ni_(x)O_(19)hexaferrites(Ni substituted La-Bam hexaferrites).samples were prepared using the conventional co-precipitation method and sintered at 1000℃for 4 hours to assist the crystallization *** analysis of the structure of the samples was carried out using an x-ray diffraction(XRD)*** m-type hexagonal structure of all the samples was confirmed using XRD *** lattice parameters a and c were found to be in the ranges of 5.8925±0.001 nm–5.8952±0.001 nm and 23.2123±0.001 nm–23.2219±0.001 nm,*** m-type hexagonal nature of the prepared samples was also indicated by the presence of corresponding FT-IR bands and Raman modes in the FT-IR and Raman spectra,*** results confirmed the successful synthesis of the samples according to the required stoichiometric ratio.A UV-vis spectrometer was used to record the absorption spectra of the prepared samples in the wavelength range of 200 nm–1100 *** optical energy bandgap of the samples was found to be in the range of 1.21 eV–3.39 *** m–H loops of the samples were measured at room temperature at an applied magnetic field range of 0 kOe–60 kOe.A high saturation magnetization of 99.92 emu/g was recorded in the sample with x=0 at a microwave operating frequency of 22.2 *** high value of saturation magnetization is due to the substitution of La3+ions at the spin-up(12k,2a,and 2b)*** Ni substitution is proven to be a potential candidate for the tuning of the optical and magnetic parameters of m-type ***,we suggest that the prepared samples are suitable for use in magneto-optic applications.

Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) is a common malignancy and now the second commonest global cause of cancer death. HCC tumorigenesis is relatively silent and patients experience late symptomatic presentation. As the option for curative treatments is limited to early stage cancers, diagnosis in non-symptomatic individuals is crucial. International guidelines advise regular surveillance of high-risk populations but the current tools lack sufficient sensitivity for early stage tumors on the background of a cirrhotic nodular liver. A number of novel biomarkers have now been suggested in the literature, which may reinforce the current surveillance methods. In addition, recent metabonomic and proteomic discoveries have established specific metabolite expressions in HCC, according to Warburg's phenomenon of altered energy metabolism. With clinical validation, a simple and non-invasive test from the serum or urine may be performed to diagnose HCC, particularly benefiting low resource regions where the burden of HCC is highest.

The effects of si content on combinations of important properties such as hardness, hardenability, and weldability in addition to strength increment were systematically investigated to develop a mo and V free low alloy cast steel for automobile cold pressing die insert. For the evaluation of the applicability as the die insert, the mechanical properties were measured after spheroidization annealing （sA）, quenching and tempering （Q/T）, and flame hardening （FH） treatments, respectively. The developed 0.8%-1.6%si containing mo and V free alloy cast steels showed excellent matrix strengthening effect, hardenability, and weldability, fulfilling the industrial criterion of the mechanical properties for the die insert.

Furnace cooling is a slow cooling process. It is of importance to study structural evolution and its effects on the properties of alloys during the furnace cooling. Decomposition of aluminium rich α phase in a furnace cooled eutectoid Zn-Al based alloy was studied by transmission electron microscopy. Two kinds of precipitates in the α phase were detected in the FCZA22 alloy during ageing at 170℃. One was the hcp transitional α＂ m phase which aooears as directional rods and the round precipitates. The other was the fcc α＇m phase. 〈101〉. The orientation relationship between the a phase and transitional phase α＇m was determined as （022）α＇m （fcc）//（022^-）α（fcc）, [1^-11]α＇m, （fcc）//[2^-33]α（fcc）. The non-equilibrium phase decomposition of the α phase is discussed in correlation with the equilibrium phase relationships.
