User authentication is one of the critical concerns of information *** tend to use strong textual passwords,but remembering complex passwords is hard as they often write it on a piece of paper or save it in their mobile *** passwords are slightly unprotected and are easily *** attacks include dictionary,shoulder surfing,and brute *** passwords overcome the shortcomings of textual passwords and are designed to aid memorability and ease of *** paper proposes a Process-based Pattern Authentication(PPA)system for Internet of Things(IoT)devices that does not require a server to maintain a static password of the login *** server stores user’s information,which they provide at the time of registration,i.e.,the R-code and the symbol,but the P-code,i.e.,the actual password,will change with every login attempt of *** this scheme,users may draw a pattern on the basis of calculation from the P-code and Rcode in the PPA pattern,and can authenticate themselves using their touch dynamic behaviors through Artificial Neural Network(ANN).The ANN is trained on touch behaviors of legitimate users reporting superior performance over the existing *** experimental purposes,PPA is implemented as a prototype on a computer system to carry out experiments for the evaluation in terms of memorability and *** experiments show that the system has an effect of 5.03%of the False Rejection Rate(FRR)and 4.36%of the False Acceptance Rate(FAR),respectively.

This paper addresses evolutionary multi-objective portfolio optimization in the practical context by incorporating realistic constraints into the problem model and preference criterion into the optimization search process. The former is essential to enhance the realism of the classical mean-variance model proposed by Harry Markowitz, since portfolio managers often face a number of realistic constraints arising from business and industry regulations, while the latter reflects the fact that portfolio managers are ultimately interested in specific regions or points along the efficient frontier during the actual execution of their investment orders. For the former, this paper proposes an order-based representation that can be easily extended to handle various realistic constraints like floor and ceiling constraints and cardinality constraint. An experimental s.udy, based on benchmark problems obtained from the OR-library, demonstrates its capability to attain a better approximation of the efficient frontier in terms of proximity and diversity with respect to other conventional representations. The experimental results also illustrated its viability and practicality in handling the various realistic constraints. A simple strategy to incorporate preferences into the multi-objective optimization process is highlighted and the experimental s.udy demonstrates its capability in driving the evolutionary search towards specific regions of the efficient frontier.

N,N-Diallyl methionine ethyl ester hydrochloride 5 underwent alternating copolymerization with sO_2 via the Butler cyclopolymerization protocol in dimethyl sulfoxide(DMsO) to give water-soluble cycloterpolymer 6 with a ～1:1 molar ratio of sulfide and sulfoxide groups as a result of oxygen transfer from DMsO. Half of the sulfide groups in 6, upon oxidation with H_2O_2, afforded polymer sulfoxide 7 and polymer sulfone 8. The solution properties of these polymers were determined via a viscometric technique. The thermal stability of these polymers was determined by thermogravimetric analysis. The inhibition efficiency obtained from gravimetric mass loss, potentiodynamic polarization, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy techniques agreed well with each other. The corrosion efficiencies increase with increasing concentration of the polymers. At a polymer concentration of 175 mM, the maximum inhibition efficiency of copolymer compounds 6–8 was determined to be 92%, 97%, and 95%, respectively. The synthesized polymer compounds acted as mixed-type inhibitors. Polymer compound 7 adsorbed onto the metal surface via chemisorption and physisorption and obeyed langmuir, Temkin, and Freundlich adsorption isotherms. Analyses by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy–energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy indicated that the adsorbed polymers formed a thin film on the metal surface and prevented further corrosive attack.

Traffic flow prediction becomes an essential process for intelligent transportation systems(ITs).Though traffic sensor devices are manually controllable,traffic flow data with distinct length,uneven sampling,and missing data finds challenging for effective *** traffic data has been considerably increased in recent times which cannot be handled by traditional mathematical *** recent developments of statistic and deep learning(Dl)models pave a way for the effectual design of traffic flow prediction(TFP)*** this view,this s.udy designs optimal attentionbased deep learning with statistical analysis for TFP(OADlsA-TFP)*** presentedOADlsA-TFP model intends to effectually forecast the level of traffic in the *** attain this,the OADlsA-TFP model employs attention-based bidirectional long short-term memory(ABlsTM)model for predicting traffic *** order to enhance the performance of the ABlsTM model,the hyperparameter optimization process is performed using artificial fish swarm algorithm(AFsA).A wide-ranging experimental analysis is carried out on benchmark dataset and the obtained values reported the enhancements of the OADlsA-TFP model over the recent approaches mean square error(MsE),root mean square error(RMsE),and mean absolute percentage error(MAPE)of 120.342%,10.970%,and 8.146%respectively.

For reinforced concrete members subjected to high temperature,the degree of in-service loading,commonly expressed as the loading ratio,can be highly influential on the structural *** particular,the loading ratio may be pivotal in relation to the phenomenon of load-induced thermal *** its potentially pivotal role,to date,the influence of the loading ratio on both material and structural behavior has not been explored in *** practice,real structures experience variation in imposed loading during their service life and it is important to understand the likely response at elevated temperatures across the loading *** this paper,the effect of the loading ratio is numerically investigated at both material and structural level using a validated finite element *** model incorporates a proposed constitutive model accounting for load-induced thermal strain and this is shown to outperform the existing Eurocode 2 model in terms of *** the validated model,the specific case of flats slabs and the associated connections to supporting columns at various loading ratios are *** the cases examined,a marked difference in the structural behavior including displacement direction was captured from low to high loading ratios consistent with experimental observations.

The high cycle fatigue response of a high V-alloyed powder metallurgy tool steel （AIsI 11） with different inclusion sizes was s.udied. Two materials of this grade at a similar hardness of about HRC 60 were subjected to axial loading fatigue tests, tensile tests and fracture toughness measurements to investigate their mechanical properties. large inclusion above 70 ~rn is indicated to be responsible for the tensile fracture which happens before yielding. The fatigue strength obtained up to 107 cycles is found to decrease from approximately 1 538 MPa to 1000 MPa with the inclusion size increasing above 30 Izm. The internally induced crack initiation is mainly attributed to the surface compressive residual stress of 300-450 MPa. Fractographic evaluation demonstrates that the crack initiation and propagation controlling factors of the two materials are almost the same, indicating that the two factors would be insignificantly affected by the inclusion size level. Paris sizes of the two materials both show a tendency to decrease as the ratio of stress intensity factor of crack origin to factor of fish-eye increases. The investigation into the relationship between stress intensity factors and fatigue life of the two materials further indicates that the high cycle fatigue behavior of AIsI 11 is controlled by crack propagation.

Hydrogen(H_(2))is a clean,efficient,and renewable energy with zero carbon emission,which is expected to replace the extensively used fossil *** water splitting is a promising strategy for sustainable H2 ***,the performance of single‐component photocatalysts is often confined by fast electron‐hole recombination due to strong Coulombic force,and their inability to simultaneously attain a wide absorption range and enough redox *** problems can be addressed by constructing a heterojunction between two semiconductors with different Fermi levels(EF),conduction band(CB)and valence band(VB)*** promotes light harvesting through light absorption on both semiconductors and facilitates charge separation by decoupling them on different *** are mainly three types of heterojunctions,namely the type‐II heterojunction,the Z‐scheme heterojunction,and the step‐scheme(s‐scheme)heterojunction[1–3].In a type‐II heterojunction,photogenerated electrons migrate from the higher CB to the lower one,while photogenerated holes transfer from the lower to the higher ***,this schematic is thermodynamically flawed since the charge transfer discounts the redox powers of the electrons and *** transfer is also dynamically unfavorable due to strong repulsion between the photogenerated electrons(or holes)in different *** Z‐scheme heterojunction utilizes dissolved redox ion pairs(traditional Z‐scheme)or conductive materials(all‐solid‐state Z‐scheme)as the shuttle for charge transfer and ***,the photogenerated carriers with stronger redox powers would preferentially react with the ion pairs or combine at the conductor because of stronger driving forces,leading to deducted redox powers and reduced photocatalytic activity.s‐scheme heterojunction could avoid these drawbacks and has exhibited excellent performance in organics degradation[4,5],CO_(2) reduction[6,7],hydrogen evolution[8],
