A series of Er^(3+)ions doped lithium lead alumino borate(LiPbAlB)glasses were synthesized via melt quench method and their structural,physical and optical properties were ***-Ofelt theory in correlation with the emission and absorption profiles was performed for the measurement of various radiative parameters for different transitions of Er^(3+)doped *** as-prepared glasses show deep green(550 nm)as well as NIR(1532 nm)emission at 380 and 980 nm excitation wavelengths,*** intensity of emission spectra increases with Er^(3+)ions concentration up to 1.5 mol%and beyond quenching is *** Dexter theory applied to the emission profiles reveals the interaction between Er^(3+)ions as dipole-dipole in *** color coordinates are found to fall in the green region of the visible *** is observed that 1.5 mol%of Er^(3+)ions concentration is optimum to exhibit the maximum quantum efficiency,branching ratios,gain bandwidth,emission cross-section,gain crosssection and aptly suitable for visible and NIR photonic applications.

Throughout the history of drug development, plants have been an important source for the discovery of novel therapeutically active compounds for many diseases. The ethnopharmacological approach has provided several leads to identify potential new drugs from plant sources, including those for memory disorders. For the treatment of Alzheimer's disease the drug discovery focus shifted from cholinesterase inhibitors, to other targets primarily based on two key neuropathological hallmarks, namely the hyperphosphorylation of the tau protein resulting in the formation of neurofibrillary tangles(NFTs), and the increased formation and aggregation of amyloid-beta peptide(Aβ) derived from amyloid precursor protein(APP). The present article aims to provide a comprehensive literature survey of plants and their constituents that have been tested for Aβ aggregation, thus possibly relieving several features of Alzheimer's disease(AD).

AIM:Aegle marmelos is a medicinal herb belonging to the Rutacae *** fruit of *** at each stage of ripening is used as ethnomedicine to cure various *** aim of the present study was to determine the components contributing to the medicinal value of the *** fruit at different stages of ***:High-performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)was used to determine polyphenol,vitamins,organic acids and sugars in *** fruit at different stages of ***:Tannin,a polyphenol responsible for astringent and antimicrobial properties of *** fruit was found to increase during ***,a vital medicinal component was detected in traceable amount only in full-ripe *** ***-vin contributes towards body growth,reproduction and red cell *** content of ascorbic acid(vitamin C)which is useful in preventing scurvy decreased significantly as fruit ***:The difference in the medicinal effect of *** fruit at each stage of ripening might be due to the presence of different amount of polyphenol,vitamins and organic acids.

The uncertainties associated with multi-area power systems comprising both thermal and distributed renewable generation(DRG)sources such as solar and wind necessitate the use of an efficient load frequency control(LFC)***,a hybrid version of two metaheuristic algorithms(arithmetic optimization and African vulture’s optimization algorithm)is *** is called the‘arithmetic optimized African vulture’s optimization algorithm(AOAVOA)’.This algorithm is used to tune a novel type-2 fuzzy-based proportional–derivative branched with dual degree-of-freedom proportional–integral–derivative controller for the LFC of a three-area hybrid deregulated power ***,electric vehicle(EV),and DRG sources(including a solar panel and a wind turbine system)are con-nected in ***-2 involves thermal and gas-generating units(GUs),while thermal and geothermal units are linked in *** restrictions such as thermo-boiler dynamics,thermal-governor dead-band,and genera-tion rate constraints are also *** proposed LFC method is compared to other controllers and optimizers to demonstrate its superiority in rejecting step and random load *** functioning as energy storage ele-ments,EVs and DRG units can enhance dynamic responses during peak *** a result,the effect of the afore-mentioned units on dynamic reactions is also *** validate its effectiveness,the closed-loop system is subjected to robust stability analysis and is compared to various existing control schemes from the *** is determined that the suggested AOAVOA improves fitness by 40.20%over the arithmetic optimizer(AO),while fre-quency regulation is improved by 4.55%over an AO-tuned type-2 fuzzy-based branched controller.

After much procrastination,the Indian government has released its much awaited and delayed Arctic Policy document on 17 March 22 with the theme being“Building a Partnership for sustainable Development”.It has been 15 years since India commenced its scientific research in the Arctic region and this policy document,charting out the direction that India aspires to assume will be keenly examined by the diverse stakeholders of the *** being an Arctic Council observer for nearly a decade,India continues to view the Arctic from a mere scientific prism and yet again missed on the opportunity to elucidate her geo-economic,geostrategic,economic and geopolitical aspirations in the hugely vital *** is no gainsaying that the research bases discreetly also act as pillars of geopolitical engagement and indirectly this scientific diplomacy ushers in peace and prevent conflict situations yet a holistic national policy enunciating a roadmap and vision for dealing in a region which has eight sovereign states,thirteen sovereign states as observers,various intergovernmental and inter-parliamentarian outfits,NGOs and a complex governance structure was much awaited.

Influence of feeding crimped kernel maize silage on the course of subclinical necrotic enteritis in a broiler disease model

This experiment was carried out with 375 male broilers(Ross 308) from days 1 to 28 to evaluate the influence of crimped kernel maize silage(CKMs) on the manifestation of subclinical necrotic enteritis,microbiota counts, organic acid production and relative weights of gastrointestinal segments. A necrotic enteritis disease model was applied. Birds were allocated into 3 different dietary treatments: a maizebased feed(MBF, control diet), and 2 diets supplemented with 15%(CKMs15) or 30%(CKMs30) of crimped ensiled kernel maize. The disease model involved a 10-time overdose of an attenuated live vaccine against coccidiosis given orally on day 17, followed by oral inoculation of Clostridium perfringens Type A(s48,10~8 to 10~9 bacteria/bird) twice daily on days 18,19, 20 and 21. scoring of intestinal lesions was performed on days 22, 23, 25 and 28. Ileal and caecal digesta samples were collected for the quantification of selected bacterial groups and organic acids. The results showed that there was no effect of dietary treatments on small intestinal lesion scores(P> 0.05). Lesions scores peaked on days 23 and 25 and decreased again on day 28(P = 0.001). No effect of age on microbiota counts was observed, but feeding of CKMs30 reduced the number of coliforms in ileal contents(P = 0.01). Dietary treatments did not affect organic acid concentrations in ileum and caeca, but there was an effect of age; butyric acid was higher on days 22, 23 and 25 than on day 28(P = 0.04). Acetic acid and propionic acid concentrations in caeca were the highest on days 22 and 28 but the lowest on days 23 and 25. Relative gizzard and caeca weights were increased, and relative ileum weights were decreased when birds were fed CKMs30(P sion, the inclusion of CKMs in broiler diets had no effects on the course of necrotic enteritis but had potential benefits in terms of inhibition of potentially harmful microorganisms.

This paper is designed to introduce new hybrid Vedic algorithm to increase the speed of the multiplier. This work combines the principles of Nikhilam sutra and Karatsuba algorithm. Vedic Mathematics is the mathematical system to solve the complex computations in an easier manner. There are specific sutras to perform multiplication. Nikhilam sutra is one of the sutra. But this has some limitations. To overcome the limitations, this sutra is combined with Karatsuba algorithm. High speed devices are required for high speed applications with compact size. Normally multipliers require more power for its computation. In this paper, new multiplication algorithm for the multiplication of binary numbers is proposed based on Vedic Mathematics. The novel portion in the algorithm is found to be in the calculation of remainder using complement method. The size of the remainder is always set as N - 1 bit for any combination of input. The multiplier structure is designed based on Karatsuba algorithm. Therefore, N × N bit multiplication is done by (N - 1) bit multiplication. Numerical strength reduction is done through Karatsuba algorithm. The results show that the reduction in hardware leads to reduction in the delay.

Objective:To assess the In vivo anlioxid Fanl and hepaloproleclive activity of metlianolic exlracl of Daucus carota(***) seeds in experimental ***:Methanolic extracts of *** seeds is used for hepatoproleclion *** stress were induced in rats by thioacetamide 100 nig/kg *** four groups of rats(two test,standard and toxic control). Two test groups received *** seeds extract[DCsE) at doses of 200 mg/kg and 400 mg/kg. standard group received silymarin(25 mg/kg) and toxic control received only thioacetamide. Control group received only *** the 8th day animals were sacrificed and liver enzyme like serum glutamic pyruvic transaminase(sGPT),serum glutamic-oxaloacetic transaminase(sCOT) and alkaline phosphatase(ALP)were estimated in blood serum and antioxidant enzyme like superoxide disnuituse(sOD),cululase(CAT),glutathione reductase(CKD),glutathione peroxidase(GPX),glutalhione-s-transferase(GsT)and lipid peroxidation(LPO)were estimated in liver ***:A significant decrease in sGPT,sCOT and ALP levels was observed in all drug treated groups as compared to thioacetamide group(Pse of antioxidant enzyme a significant(Pse in ***,GRD,GPX and GsT was observed in all dmg treated groups as compared with thioacetamide *** in case of LPO a significant(P s observed as compared to toxic control ***:DCsE has contributed lo the reduction of oxidative stress and the protection of liver in experimental rals.
