The.rock type. are.re.re.e.te. by laye.e. m.tagabbros, biotite.schists, gne.sse., granodiorite., and m.scovite.granite.. The.m.scovite.granite.of Wadi Nugrus, is sm.ll e.posure.in size.(~5.0 km.sup>2sup>), e.0}lace. along NW-se.tre.d, with about 0.5 - 4.5 Km.in le.gth and 100 - 250 m.in width and intruding the.biotite.schists. The.studie. m.scovite.granite.is com.ose. m.inly of plagioclase., potash fe.dspars, quartz, biotite.and m.scovite. The.re.orde. m.ne.als asse.0}lage.can be.classifie. into se.ondary U-m.ne.als (uranophane.and m.ta-autunite., U-be.ring m.ne.als (uranothorite.and colum.ite. and acce.sory m.ne.als (zircon, flourite. allanite. zinnwaldite.and he.0}tite.. Im.ge.proce.sing te.hnique. include. unsupe.vise. classification for cluste.ing four land cove. units in the.m.DIs im.ge. nam.ly: plains, sand dune., m.untains, and cultivate. lands. The.sRTm.im.ge.was classifie. to produce.a the.0}tic topographic m.p with 100 m.e.e.ation inte.val. The.norm.lize. diffe.e.ce.ve.e.ation inde. (NDVI) was applie. in the.Landsat im.ge. as a proxy to the.change.of agricultural land in Hail be.we.n 1972 and 2000. Re.ults showe. that Hail re.ion occurs at a high plate.u. m.nim.m.e.e.ation occurs at its northe.ste.n corne. and pe.ks occur at the.southwe.te.n side. The.surface.are. of Hail is e.tim.te. at 115,690 km.. The.m.jority of Hail are. is re.re.e.te. by plains and sand dune.. Cultivate. lands incre.se. from.9500 ha in 1972 to 139,000 ha in 2010.
