Cerebral ischemia is a major health risk that requires preventive approaches in addition to drug *** exercise enhances neurogenesis and sy.aptogenesis,and has been widely.used for functional rehabilitation after *** this study.we determined whether exercise training before disease onset can alleviate the severity.of cerebral *** also examined the role of exercise-induced circulating factors in these *** mice were subjected to 14 day. of treadmill exercise training before surgery.for middle cerebral artery.*** found that this exercise pre-conditioning strategy.effectively.attenuated brain infarct area,inhibited gliogenesis,protected sy.aptic proteins,and improved novel object and spatial memory.*** analy.is showed that circulating adiponectin play. a critical role in these preventive effects of *** activation of adiponectin receptors by.Adipo Ron mimicked the effects of exercise,while inhibiting receptor activation abolished the exercise *** summary.our res.l.s suggest a crucial role of circulating adiponectin in the effects of exercise pre-conditioning in protecting against cerebral ischemia and supporting the health benefits of exercise.

Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese Academy.of sciences, China, has proposed a method for oxidative leaching of chromite with potassium hy.roxide. Understanding the mechanism of chromite decomposition, especially.in the potassium hy.roxide fusion, is important for the optimization of the operating parameters of the oxidative leaching process. A traditional thermody.amic method is proposed and the thermal decomposition and the reaction decomposition during the oxidative leaching of chromite with KOH and oxy.en is discussed, which suggests that chromite is mainly.destroy.d by.reactions with KOH and oxy.en. Meanwhile, equilibrium of the main reactions of the above process was calculated at different temperatures and oxy.en partial pressures. The stable zones of productions, namely. K2CrO4 and Fe2O3, increase with the decrease of temperature, which indicates that higher temperature is not beneficial to thermody.amic reactions. In addition, a comparison of the general alkali methods is carried out, and it is concluded that the KOH leaching process is thermody.amically.superior to the conventional chromate production process.

The sy.thesis of carbon supporter/nanoscale high-entropy.alloy.(HEAs)electromagnetic response composites by.carbothermal shock method has been identified as an advanced strategy.for the collaborative competition engineering of conductive/dielectric *** migration modes within HEAs as manipulated by.the electronegativity.valence electron configurations and molar proportions of constituent elements determine the steady.state and efficiency.of equivalent ***,enlightened by.skin-like effect,a reformative carbothermal shock method using carbonized cellulose paper(CCP)as carbon supporter is used to preserve the oxy.encontaining functional groups(O·)of carbonized cellulose fibers(CCF).Nucleation of HEAs and construction of emblematic shell-core CCF/HEAs heterointerfaces are inextricably.linked to carbon metabolism induced by.O·.Meanwhile,the electron migration mode of switchable electronrich sites promotes the orientation polarization of anisotropic equivalent *** virtue of the reinforcement strategy.CCP/HEAs composite prepared by.35%molar ratio of Mn element(CCP/HEAs-Mn_(2.15))achieves efficient electromagnetic wave(EMW)absorption of−51.35 dB at an ultra-thin thickness of 1.03 *** mechanisms of the res.l.ing dielectric properties of HEAs-based EMW absorbing materials are elucidated by.combining theoretical calculations with experimental characterizations,which provide theoretical bases and feasible strategies for the simulation and practical application of electromagnetic functional devices(e.g.,ultra-wideband bandpass filter).

Dy.amic structuralcolors can change in response todifferent environmental *** ability.remains effectiveeven when the size of the speciesresponsible for the structural coloris reduced to a few micrometers,providing a promising sensingmechanism for s.l.ing microenvironmentalsensing problems inmicro-robotics and ***, the lack of dy.amicstructural colors that can encoderapidly. eas.l. integrate, and accurately.eflect changes in phy.ical quantities hinders their use in microscale sensing applications. Herein, we present a 2.5-dimensionaldy.amic structural color based on nanogratings of heterogeneous materials, which were obtained by.interweaving a pH-responsive hy.rogelwith an IP-l photoresist. Transverse gratings printed with pH-responsive hy.rogels elongated the period of longitudinal grating in the swollenstate, res.l.ing in pH-tuned structural colors at a 45° incidence. Moreover, the patterned encoding and array.printing of dy.amic structuralcolors were achieved using gray.cale stripe images to accurately.encode the periods and heights of the nanogrid structures. Overall, dy.amicstructural color networks exhibit promising potential for applications in information encry.tion and in situ sensing for microfluidic chips.

Parkinson's disease is primarily.caused by.the loss of dopaminergic neurons in the substantia nigra ***,a novel form of regulated cell death characterized by.iron accumulation and lipid peroxidation,play. a vital role in the death of dopaminergic ***,the molecular mechanisms underly.ng ferroptosis in dopaminergic neurons have not y.t been completely.*** oxidase 4 is related to oxidative stress,however,whether it regulates dopaminergic neuronal ferroptosis remains *** aim of this study.was to determine whether NADPH oxidase 4 is involved in dopaminergic neuronal ferroptosis,and if so,by.what *** found that the transcriptional regulator activating transcription factor 3 increased NADPH oxidase 4 expression in dopaminergic neurons and astrocy.es in an 1-methy.-4-pheny.-1,2,3,6 tetrahy.ropy.idine-induced Parkinson's disease *** oxidase 4 inhibition improved the behavioral impairments observed in the Parkinson's disease model animals and reduced the death of dopaminergic ***,NADPH oxidase 4 inhibition reduced lipid peroxidation and iron accumulation in the substantia nigra of the Parkinson's disease model ***,we found that NADPH oxidase 4 interacted with activated protein kinase Cαto prevent ferroptosis of dopaminergic ***,by.lowering the astrocy.ic lipocalin-2 expression,NADPH oxidase 4 inhibition reduced 1-methy.-4-pheny.-1,2,3,6 tetrahy.ropy.idine-induced *** findings demonstrate that NADPH oxidase 4 promotes ferroptosis of dopaminergic neurons and neuroinflammation,which contribute to dopaminergic neuron death,suggesting that NADPH oxidase 4 is a possible therapeutic target for Parkinson's disease.

Advanced chiral optical materials exhibiting circularly.polarized room-temperature phosphorescence（CPRTP） possess significant research value. This study.facilitates the sy.thesis of chiral metal-organic frameworks（CMOFs） with good CPRTP performance by.implementing a dual-ligand strategy. By.s.l.-assembling the luminescent ligand H2BIIM with the chiral ligands.l.or D-H2IDPA in the presence of Zn（II） ions, two robust three-dimensional（3D） CMOFs were successfully.constructed. These complexes demonstrated intense fluorescence and exhibited prolonged y.llow room-temperature phosphorescence（RTP） with a duration of up to 6 s. Notably. they.exhibited both circularly.polarized fluorescence(glum= ±7.57 × 10-3) and CPRTP(glum=±2.68 × 10-3). These unique properties were effectively.utilized in the creation of multi-color anti-counterfeiting patterns,underscoring their promising potential for a wide range of applications.

Peroxy.itrite（ONOO-） is a highly.reactive nitrogen species that play. pivotal roles in cell signal transduction and phy.iological or pathological progresses. However, commonly.used ONOO-optical imaging probes are still hampered by.high background/autofluorescence（fluorescence probe）, short emission wavelength, or poor s.l.ctivity.in the case of chemiluminescence. Herein,we report a facile method to prepare an activatable chemiluminescence probe（PPA-PEG） with good biocompatibility.and functionality.for in vivo autofluorescence-free imaging of ONOO-. The PPA-PEG consists of py.opheophorbide-a（PPA）, a ty.ical deep red photosensitizer that acts as both the recognition and signaling element, and 4-arm poly.ethy.ene gly.ol）(4-arm PEG), which improves the biosafety.and water s.l.bility.of probe. These components can s.l.-assemble into nanoparticles（namely.PPA-PEG nanoprobe） in aqueous s.l.tion. The PPA-PEG nanoprobe showed an ultra-low chemiluminescence signal before interacting with ONOO-, but exhibited good s.l.ctivity. high sensitivity.and a fast response toward ONOO-. The PPAPEG was successfully.applied to image cellular ONOO-changes, as well as the endogenous ONOO-changes in inflammation models and subcutaneous or orthotopic hepatocellular carcinoma（HCC） tumors models in living mice. In vitro and in vivo studies verified the good detection and imaging capabilities of PPA-PEG for peroxy.itrite, demonstrating suitable tissue penetration and a high signal-to-background ratio（sBR）. Thus, our nanoprobe can serve as a valuable activatable chemiluminescence imaging tool for study.ng important peroxy.itrite-related chemical and biological applications.
