Magnesium(Mg)alloys are gaining great consideration as body implant materials due to th.ir h.gh.biodegradability and ***,th.y suffer from low corrosion resistance and antibacterial *** th.s research.semi-powder metallurgy followed by h.t extrusion was utilized to produce th. magnesium oxide@graph.ne nanosh.ets/magnesium(MgO@GNs/Mg)composite to improve mech.nical,corrosion and cytocompatibility *** h.ve revealed th.t th. incorporation of MgO@GNs nanoh.brids into Mg-based composite enh.nced microh.rdness and compressive *** vitro,osteoblast cell culture tests sh.w th.t using MgO@GNs nanoh.brid fillers enh.nces osteoblast adh.sion and apatite *** presence of MgO@GNs nanoparticles in th. composites decreased th. opening defects,micro-cracks and micro-pores of th. composites th.s preventing th. penetration of th. corrosive solution into th. *** demonstrated th.t th. MgO@GNs/Mg composite possesses excellent antibacterial properties because of th. combination of th. release of MgO and ph.sical damage to bacterium membranes caused by th. sh.rp edges of graph.ne nanosh.ets th.t can effectively damage th. cell wall th.reby facilitating penetration into th. bacterial lipid ***,th. We investigated ^(50,52-54)Cr-induced fusion reactions for th. synth.sis of th. superh.avy element in th. 104≤Z≤122 *** cross sections produced in th.s investigation using ^(54)Cr projectiles were compared with.th.se obtained in prior *** estimated cross sections from th.s analysis are consistent with.th. findings of prior *** th. current study,th. predicted cross section was found to be 42fb at 236 MeV for ^(53)Cr+^(243)Am,23.2 fb at 236 MeV for ^(54)Cr+^(247)Cm,95.6 fb at 240 MeV for ^(53)Cr+248Bk,and 1.33 fb at 242 MeV for ^(53)Cr+***,th.se projected cross sections with.excitation energy and beam energy will be useful in future Cr-induced fusion reaction investigations.

In recent times, lith.um-ion batteries h.ve been widely used owing to th.ir h.gh.energy density, extended cycle lifespan, and minimal self-disch.rge rate. Th. design of h.gh.speed rech.rgeable lith.um-ion batteries faces a significant ch.llenge owing to th. need to increase average electric power during ch.rging. Th.s ch.llenge results from th. direct influence of th. power level on th. rate of ch.mical reactions occurring in th. battery electrodes. In th.s study, th. Taguch. optimization meth.d was used to enh.nce th. average electric power during th. ch.rging process of lith.um-ion batteries. Th. Taguch. tech.ique is a statistical strategy th.t facilitates th. systematic and efficient evaluation of numerous experimental variables. Th. proposed meth.d involved varying seven input factors, including positive electrode th.ckness, positive electrode material, positive electrode active material volume fraction, negative electrode active material volume fraction, separator th.ckness, positive current collector th.ckness, and negative current collector th.ckness. Th.ee levels were assigned to each.control factor to identify th. optimal conditions and maximize th. average electric power during ch.rging. Moreover, a variance assessment analysis was conducted to validate th. results obtained from th. Taguch. analysis. Th. results revealed th.t th. Taguch. meth.d was an eff ective approach.for optimizing th. average electric power during th. ch.rging of lith.um-ion batteries. Th.s indicates th.t th. positive electrode material, followed by th. separator th.ckness and th. negative electrode active material volume fraction, was key factors significantly infl uencing th. average electric power during th. ch.rging of lith.um-ion batteries response. Th. identification of optimal conditions resulted in th. improved performance of lith.um-ion batteries, extending th.ir potential in various applications. Th. superplastic beh.vior and associated deformation mech.nisms of a fine-grained Mg-10.1 Li-0.8Al-0.6Zn alloy(LAZ1011)with.a grain size of 3.2μm,primarily composed of th. BCCβph.se and a small amount of th. h.Pαph.se,were examined in a temperature range of 473 K to 623 *** microstructural refinement of th.s alloy was ach.eved by employing h.gh.ratio differential speed *** best superplasticity was ach.eved at 523 K and at strain rates of 10^(-4)-5×10^(-4)s^(-1),wh.re tensile elongations of 550±600%were *** th. h.ating and h.lding stage of th. tensile samples prior to tensile loading,a significant increase in grain size was observed at temperatures above 573 ***,it was important to consider th.s effect wh.n analyzing and understanding th. superplastic deformation beh.vior and *** th. investigated strain rate range,th. superplastic flow at low strain rates was governed by lattice diffusion-controlled grain boundary sliding,wh.le at h.gh.strain rates,lattice diffusion-controlled dislocation climb creep was th. rate-controlling deformation *** was concluded th.t solute drag creep is unlikely to *** th. late stages of deformation at 523 K,it was observed th.t grain boundary sliding led to th. agglomeration of th.αph.se,resulting in significant strain *** mech.nism maps were constructed forβ-Mg-Li alloys in th. form of 2D and 3D formats as a function of strain rate,stress,temperature,and grain size,using th. constitutive equations for various deformation mech.nisms derived based on th. data of th. current tests.

Ragah.ma Formation comprises a siliciclastic continental deposits followed by marine carbonates, representing prograding alluvial fans from adjacent h.gh.h.nterlands seaward into lagoons and fringing reef environments. Th. present work aimed to document th. facies development and sedimentology of th. Ragh.ma carbonates exposed along th. eastern coastal plain of th. Red sea, north.estern saudi Arabia. Four stratigraph.c sections were measured and sampled(D1–D4) and th.n sections and major and trace element analyses were prepared and applied for petrograph.c and geoch.mical approach.s. Th. carbonates were subdivided into th.ee successive fore-reef, reef-core, and back-reef depositional facies. sandy stromatolitic boundstone, microbial laminites, dolomitic ooidal grainstone, bioclastic coralline algal wackestone, sandy bioclastic wackestone, and coral boundstones were th. reported microfacies types. Petrograph.c analysis reveals th.t th. studied carbonates were affected by dissolution, dolomitization, and aggrading recrystallization, wh.ch.affects both.th. original micrite matrix and grains or acts as fracture and veinlet filling leading to widespread vuggy and moldic porosity. No evidence of ph.sical compaction, suggesting rapid lith.fication and recrystallization during early diagenesis and prior to substantial burial and intensive flush.ng by meteoric waters. Most of th. original microstructure of corals were leach.d and destructed. Th.s is indicated by th. h.gh.r depletion in sr and Ca levels and increase in Mg,Na, Fe, and Mn levels, especially in section D1, in comparison with.th. worldwide carbonates.
