In this work, the syntheses of new thermally stable poly（amide-imide）s with pendant 2-pyridyl-l,3,4-oxadiazole units in n-butyl methyl imidazolium bromide as reaction media have been reported. A new dicarboxylic acid has been derived from the reaction of diamine, 2-（5-（3,5-diaminophenyl）-1,3,4-oxadiazole-2-yl）pyridine （POBD）, and trimellitic acid anhydride. Polymers were prepared from the reaction of the diimide-diacid （DIDA） and different aromatic diamines in butyl methyl imidazolium bromide, [bmim] [Br], in the pr.s.nce of triphenyl phosphite （TPP） as condensing agent without needing any extra components. The prepared poly（amide-imide）s were characterized by FTIr, elemental analysis, and through the synthesis of a model compound. The prepared polymers were soluble in polar and aprotic solvents, such as DMF, DMsO, NMP and DMAc. The inherent viscosity of the polymer.s.lutions was in the range of 0.52-1.33 dL/g measured in concentrated H2sO4 at a concentration of 0.125 g/dL at （25 ± 0.5）℃. The r.s.lts are compared with the r.s.lts obtained from common direct polycondensation with NMP as solvent. Polymers obtained in ionic liquid showed higher inherent viscosity than that of polymers obtained via classical method in NMP. Thermal properties of the polymers were studied with DsC and TGA methods.

In this paper, the effects of viscous and Ohmic heating and heat genera- tion/absorption on magnetohydrodynamic flow of an electrically conducting Casson thin film fluid over an unsteady horizontal stretching sheet in a non-Darcy porous medium are investigated. The fluid is assumed to slip along the boundary of the sheet. similar- ity transformation is used to translate the governing partial differential equations into ordinary differential equations. A shooting technique in conjunction with the 4th order runge-Kutta method is used to solve the transformed equations. Computations are car- ried out for velocity and temperature of the fluid thin film along with local skin friction coefficient and local Nusselt number for a range of values of pertinent flow parameters. It is observed that the Casson parameter has the ability to enhance free surface velocity and film thickness, whereas the Forchheimer parameter, which, is r.s.onsible for the inertial drag has an adverse effect on the fluid velocity inside the film. The velocity slip along the boundary tends to decrease the fluid velocity. This investigation has various applications in engineering and in practical problems such as very large scale integration （VLsI） of electronic chips and film coating.

Zn is a commonly used alloying element for Mg alloys owing to its beneficial effects on mechanical properties. To improve the mechanical and corr.s.on properties of WE43B Mg alloys, the effects of 0–0.7wt% Zn addition on the micr.s.ructure and properties of sample alloys were investigated. Addition of Zn to as-cast WE43B alloy promoted the formation of the Mg12Nd phase;by contr.s., after T6 heat treatment, the phase composition of WE43B alloys with and without Zn addition remained mostly the same. A long-period stacking ordered phase was predicted by CALPHAD calculation, but this phase was not observed in either the as-cast or heat-treated Zn-containing WE43B alloys. The optimum temperature and duration of T6 heat treatment were obtained using CALPHAD calculations and hardness measurements. Addition of Zn r.s.lted in a slight reduction in the average grain size of the as-cast and T6 heat-treated WE43B alloys and endowed them with increased corr.s.on r.s.stance with little effect on their mechanical properties.

There is a strong evidence supporting the hypothesis of synaptic dysfunction as a major contributor to neural circuit and network disruption underlying emotional and mood dysregulation in psychiatric disorders(simmons et al.,2024).Diverse sets of distinct molecular.s.gnaling pathways converge on the synapse to regulate synaptogenesis,synaptic function,and synaptic plasticity in brain regions and circuits through complex interactions organized by numerous multivalent protein scaffolds,including the family of proteins known as A-kinase anchoring proteins(AKAPs).

Our previous investigation examined the superplastic behavior of an extruded Ni-28.5Al-20.4Fe alloy. Its tensile properties were determined at temperature from 1123 K to 1323 K and initial strain rates from 1.04×10-2s-1 to 1.04×10-4s-1. A maximum elongation of 233% was obtained at 1123 K and a strain rate of 5.2×10-4s-1. Furthermore, micr.s.ructural featur.s. such as decrease in the average grain size after deformation at 850 °C and 980 °C, the pr.s.nce of many dislocation-free grains adjacent to grains with a high dislocation density, indicate that dynamic recr.s.allization has occurred as an efficient accommodation mechanism. sEM examination of the fracture sample after.s.perplastic deformation reveals many voids on the fracture surface. By correlating with the r.s.lt of TEM observation, it is suggested that the superplastic deformation in this alloy should be controlled by a grain boundary sliding-based mechanism accommodated by the movement of dislocation and dynamic recr.s.allization.
