The Dali fault system is a prominent active tectonic feature along the southeastern margin of the Tibetan plateau,developed between the Three River fold belt and the south China *** includes three main strands bending eastward,from east to west,the Chenghai,Heqing and Heihuijiang *** deformation along these strands involves both left-lateral strike slip and normal dip ***-lateral strike slip occurs primarily along southern fault segments, oriented *** the north,these faults curve northward,whereas to the south they terminate against the NW-trending Diancang shan *** studies of the interaction between these structures and faults along the boundaries of the Diancang shan massif reveal numerous indications of young to recent fault slip,such as fault scarps,fault gouge or breccia,syn-tectonic sedimentation,tilting,landslides and fault-related *** studies indicate that NE-sW directed normal faulting along middle segments of the Heqing and Heihuijiang faults resulted in relative uplift of the Yulong shan massif and concomitant subsidence of the Heqing and Lijiang ***,NE-sW directed normal faulting along northern and southern boundaries of the Diancang shan massif resulted in uplift of the massif and subsidence of the Qiaohou and Eryuan basins,as well as Erhai *** basins preserve a Pliocene and early Pleistocene sedimentary record,suggesting initiation of the fault system at this ***-sW directed normal faulting along the middle segment of the Chenghai fault resulted in subsidence of the Binchuan Basin, which preserves an early to middle Pleistocene sedimentation ***,NE-sW directed normal faulting along the southern end of the Chenghai fault and the northern boundary of the Diancang shan massif resulted in crustal shortening along the Nancun thrust-fold *** these geological arguments indicate that left-lateral movement along the southern segment of the Chenghai,Heqing and Heihuijiang faul

Although amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and progressive spinal muscular atrophy have been recognized to occur in association with human immunodeficiency virus infection, to our knowledge, brachial amyotrophic diplegia, a form of segmental motor neuron disease, has not been previously reported. Brachial amyotrophic dip legia results in severe lower motor neuron weakness and atrophy of the upper ext remities in the absence of bulbar or lower extremity involvement, pyramidal feat ures, bowel and bladder incontinence, and sensory loss. We describe a human immu nodeficiency virus-seropositive man without severe immunosuppression or prior A IDs-defining illnesses who had brachial amyotrophic diplegia. This disorder may represent one end of a spectrum of motor neuron diseases occurring with this re trovirus infection.

We investigate the effect of the westerly rotation of the lithosphere on the active margins that surround the Americas and find good correlations between the inferred easterly-directed mantle counterflow and the main structural grain and kinematics of the Andes and sandwich arc *** the Andes,the subduction zone is shallow and with low dip,because the mantle flow sustains the slab;the subduction hinge converges relative to the upper plate and generates an uplifting doubly verging *** sandwich Arc is generated by a westerly-directed sAM(south American) plate subduction where the eastward mantle flow is steepening and retreating the subduction *** this context,the slab hinge is retreating relative to the upper plate,generating the backarc basin and a low bathymetry single-verging accretionary *** Central America,the Caribbean plate presents a more complex scenario:(a) To the East,the Antilles Arc is generated by westerly directed subduction of the sAM plate,where the eastward mantle flow is steepening and retreating the subduction zone.(b) To the West,the Middle America Trench and Arc are generated by the easterly-directed subduction of the Cocos plate,where the shallow subduction caused by eastward mantle flow in its northern segment gradually steepens to the southern segment as it is infered by the preexisting westerly-directed subduction of the Caribbean *** the frame of the westerly lithospheric flow,the subduction of a divergent active ridge plays the role of introducing a change in the oceanic/continental plate’s convergence angle,such as in NAM(North American)plate with the collision with the Pacific/Farallon active ridge in the Neogene(Cordilleran orogenic type scenario).The easterly mantle drift sustains strong plate coupling along NAM,showing at Juan de Fuca easterly subducting microplate that the subduction hinge advances relative to the upper *** lower/upper plate convergence coupling also applies along strike to the neigh

Recently,edge preserving smoohting(EPs) method has been introduced to exploration geophysics from remote sensing for reducing noise while preserving discotinuities in seismic *** has been approved to be very helpful for highlighting and analysising faults,channels and fractures in seismic interpretation and placing optimal well locations. In this paper,we extended the basic EPs method to oblique"images"(curves,surfaces and seismic events in 3D seismic cubes) which were assumed to be horizontal in the original *** this study,we tried two(the dip-steering and least-square fitting) approaches,and found that the latter one produced more satisfactory results than the former one *** this extention,EPs can improve the effectness and widen the applications of the basic EPs in geophysics.

Mechanism of Haibat sultan Mountain Land-slide in Koya, North Iraq

Haibat sultan Mountain is a long range with elevation of about 860 m (a.s.l.);the Pilaspi Formation forms its carapace in Koya vicinity, with relief difference of about 300 m from Koisanjaq plain. The Pilaspi Formation consists of well thickly to massively bedded dolostone and dolomitic limestone with thickness of about 120 m in Koya vicinity. The main trend is NW - sE being a limb of Bustana anticline representing part of the southwestern limb, with dip amount that ranges from (15 - 30). On 11th of November 2015 a landslide had occurred after a heavy rainfall along Koya - Dukan main road. The type of the slide was plane sliding due to daylight slope, which was formed after the road cut. The length of the slide area: along the road is 90 m with height of 40 m forming almost a parallelogram shape;the thickness of the slid beds is about 2.5 m. The estimated volume of the slid mass is 9000 msup>3sup>. The main cause of the landslide is the presence of daylight slope, high slope angle;more than the dip angle, presence of old crack surfaces which are filled by reddish brown clayey residual soil. After the he heavy rain fall, which lasted for 20 hours, the infiltrated rain water in the bedding planes in the well bedded, cracked, and jointed beds has increased the pore pressure and decreased the internal friction angle;therefore, the sliding has occurred. The root of the slid mass is below the base of the paved road;therefore, that part which is above the paved road has slid. The remaining part is highly cracked and partly accumulated in the base of the slid mass. Fortunately, the height of the slid mass is only 40 m and the relief difference between the crown area and the toe area is about 50 m;otherwise the slid mass would be larger than the present slid mass. From the field inspection, it is very clear that the involved area is very unstable and in critical equilibrium. Design and experiment of seed furrow cleaning device based on throwing and sliding for no-till maize seeding

In order to solve the serious problems of seeds are covered by residual film and overhead by straw during no-till seeding,a seed furrow cleaning device for no-till maize seeding was developed,which adopted a collaborative cleaning method of rotating spring teeth and curved sliding *** movement process and motion trajectory of throwing residual film and straw were *** maximum distance of throwing to one side in horizontal and maximum height in vertical were *** motion trajectory of adjacent spring teeth was analyzed by Matlab,the motion trajectories of adjacent spring teeth at different speeds of 120 r/min,150 r/min and 180 r/min were achieved,the theoretical analysis results showed that the area of omitted area decreased with the increase of rotation *** on theoretical and simulation analysis of critical parameters,the forward speed of machine,rotation speed of spring teeth,and dip angle between spring teeth and rotary disc were selected as the influencing *** cleaning rate(sCR)and residual film cleaning rate(RFCR)were selected as the response values for three factors and three levels of orthogonal experiment *** optimal combination of the selected parameters was obtained,and the field test verification was also *** results showed that the rotation speed of spring teeth,forward speed and dip angle of spring teeth significantly affect sCR and RFCR were in decreasing *** field test results indicated that when forward speed was 6 km/h,rotation speed of spring teeth was 180 r/min and dip angle of spring teeth was 40°,sCR and RFCR were 88.27%and 84.31%,*** study provides a reference for the development of no-till seeder in Xinjiang and the northwestern regions of China.

采用酶免疫法测定１００例老年高血压病和正常对照组３０倒尿转铁蛋白（Ｔｆ）、白蛋白（Ａｌｂ）、Ｎ－乙酰－β－Ｄ－氨基葡萄糖苷酶（ＮＡＧ）及视黄醇结合蛋白（ＲＢＰ），以及动态血压监测。结果：血压昼夜节律正常（Ａ组）４７例，异常（Ｂ组）５３例。Ｂ组的２４ｈ收缩压（ＳＢＰ）、夜间收缩压（ｎＳＢＰ）、夜间舒张压（ｎＤＢＰ）、收缩压负荷（ＳＢＰ－Ｌ）、舒张压负荷（ＤＢＰ－Ｌ）均明显高于Ａ组（Ｐ＜０．０５或＜０．０１），且Ｂ组的尿Ｔｆ、Ａｌｂ、ＩｇＧ、ＮＡＧ、ＲＢＰ显著升高（均为Ｐ＜０．０１）。结果表明，血压昼夜节律异常的患者夜间血压持续在较高的水平，具有较高的血压负荷，故肾脏损害严重。了解血压节律的变化，对预测高血压靶器官损害具有一定的意义。

南（中国）海争端潜在替代方案之分析

本文的目的是分析和提出解决南（中国）海主权争端僵局的潜在替代方案。该地区的背景和现状表明．主权争端不太可能在可预见的未来得到解决。基于国际法的传统争端解决机制，包括外交谈判和第三方仲裁，尽管被许多外交官和学者所推荐，但至少在不久的将来不太会在南（中国）海起到作用。由于在贯彻实施这些机制方面可能存在的困难，油气储备“共同开发”以及海洋环境和共享资源“区域合作”被提了出来，作为规避这些主权争端的备选方案。然而，本文认为，油气储备的共同开发在不久的将来同样不太可能起到作用．因为它也有与传统机制同样的弱点，任何解决方案都可能受到主权的影响。另一方面，合作已被公认为国际法和国际关系中的一个必要和基本原则．加之周边各方根据《联合国海洋法公约》和许多其他国际环境公约做出了许多“公域”合作的法律承诺，该地区有关公域的一些合作活动通常都是在双边或多边的基础上开展的。尽管在最终解决主权争端上没有进展。但对所有相关国家而言．在不久的将来，南（中国）海的区域合作也许是一种可行的替代方案。一如既往，所有各方的政治意愿对这种努力的成功是至关重要的。
