Maintaining the integrity and longevity of structures is essential in many industries,such as aerospace,nuclear,and *** achieve the cost-effectiveness of large-scale systems in petroleum drilling,a strong emphasis on structural durability and monitoring is *** study focuses on the mechanical vibrations that occur in rotary drilling systems,which have a substantial impact on the structural integrity of drilling *** study speciﬁcally investigates axial,torsional,and lateral vibrations,which might lead to negative consequences such as bit-bounce,chaotic whirling,and high-frequency *** events not only hinder the efﬁciency of drilling but also lead to exhaustion and harm to the system’s components since they are difﬁcult to be detected and controlled in real *** study investigates the dynamic interactions of these vibrations,speciﬁcally in their high-frequency modes,usingﬁeld data obtained from measurement while ***ﬁndings have demonstrated the effect of strong coupling between the high-frequency modes of these vibrations on drilling sys-tem *** obtained results highlight the importance of cons.dering the interconnected impacts of these vibrations when designing and implementing robust control ***,integrating these compo-nents can increase the durability of drill bits and drill strings,as well as improve the ability to monitor and detect ***,by exploiting theseﬁndings,the assessment of structural resilience in rotary drilling systems can be ***,the study demonstrates the capacity of structural health monitoring to improve the quality,dependability,and efﬁciency of rotary drilling systems in the petroleum industry.

As the population ages,the burden of age-related diseases becomes ***,over 55 million people suffer from dementia worldwide,with Alzheimer’s.disease being the most common ***,it is becoming clearer that underlying vascular pathology such as cerebral small vessel disease(cs.d)may be a more detrimental cause for dementia(Cuadrado-Godia et al.,2018).It is estimated that 10%-30%of the elderly population and 35%-90%of all dementia patients exhibit signs of *** term cs.d refers to pathology affecting the small vessels of the brain,which can lead to lacunar cerebral infarcts,enlarged perivascular spaces,and cortical hemorrhages(Cuadrado-Godia et al.,2018).Cs.d is often associated with cognitive decline,gait problems,and dementia(Cuadrado-Godia et al.,2018).

A clean environment with low carbon emissions is the goal of research on the development of green and sustainable buildings that use bio-sourced materials in conjunction with solar energy to create more sustainable *** is particularly true in Africa,where there aren’t many studies on the *** current study suggests a 90 m^(2) model of a sustainable building in a dry climate that is movable to address the issue of housing in remote areas,ensures comfort in harsh weather conditions,uses solar renewable resources—which are plentiful in Africa—uses biosourced materials,and examines how these materials relate to temperature and humidity control while emitting minimal carbon *** order to solve the topic under cons.deration,the work is split into two sections:numerical and experimental *** TRNsYs and Revit,the suggested prototype building is examined numerically to examine the impact of orientation,envelope composition made of bio-sourced materials,and carbon *** a hygrothermal investigation,experiments are conducted to evaluate this prototype’s ***,an examination of the photovoltaic system’s production,consumption,and several scenarios us.d tomaximize battery life is included in the *** the biosourcedmaterial achieves a thermal transmittance of 0.15(W.m^(-2).K^(-1)),the results.demonstrate an intriguing finding in terms of *** value satisfies the requirements of passive building,energy autonomy of the dwelling,and injection in-network with an annual value of 15,757 ***,compared to the literature,the heating needs ratio is 6.38(kWh/m^(2).an)and the cooling needs ratio is 49(kWh/m^(2).an),both of which are good *** to international norms,the ins.de temperature doesn’t go above 26℃,and the humidity level is within a comfortable range.

Preparation and Characterization of Boron Thin Film on Iron substrate

The adherent thermal layering was undertaken by chemical vapor deposition （CVd） method using saturated solution of boric acid in ultra pure CH3OH. The influence of temperature was studied by varying temperature from 100 to 600℃ during the process of boron deposition. The most optimum temperature was found to be 200℃. The effect of time span was observed from 6 to 120 h. The generation of micro or nano-scale thickness could be achieved by reducing time span of the experiment. The behavior of CVd was characterized by using scanning electron microscope, absorbance spectrohotometer and atomic emission spectrograph.

Molecular basis for identification of species/isolates of gastrointestinal nematode parasites

Gastrointestinal（GI） parasitism is the most serious constraint throughout the world in small ruminants which causes significant production loss in *** parasites are major contributor to reduce productivity in terms of meat,milk and wool in *** of GI parasite is.done primarily by anthelmintic treatment where choice and schedule of treatment is.done after identification and quantitation of individual *** of GI parasites is.done through microscopic method by identifying specific morphological characteristics of egg and larva（Lsub>3sub>）.since most of parasite eggs are having similar morphological characteristics, identification up to species level through microscopy is not possible in most of *** address this issue,molecular techniques are the viable alternative for identification of species as well as molecular level differences within a species（isolates） of *** dNA bas.d molecular techniques ***,AFLP,RAPd,RFLP,PCR-ssCP,real time PCR,dNA microarray *** been us.d for identification and to assess the genetic diversity among parasite *** identification of species,the characteristic sequence of genomic dNA of different species should differ to allow the delineation of species,but at the same time,no/minor variation within the species should *** contrast,for purpose of identifying population variants（strains/isolates）, a cons.derable degree of variation in the sequence should exist within a *** target regions,including nuclear ribosomal dNA（rdNA）,mitochondrial dNA（mtdNA） or repetitive dNA elements（microsatellite loci）,which show cons.derable variation in the number of repeats within individuals have been employed to achieve the identification of parasites species or strain.

V_2O_5·nH_2O nanosheets and multi-walled carbon nanotube composite as a negative electrode for s.dium-ion batteries

Two dimensional(2d) transition metal oxides and chalcogenides.demonstrate a promising performance in s.dium-ion batteries(sIBs) application. In this study, we investigated the use of a composite of freeze dried V_2O_5·nH_2O nanosheets and multi-walled carbon nanotube(MWCNT) as a negative electrode material for sIBs. Cyclic voltammetry(CV) results indicated that a reversible s.dium-ion insertion/deinsertion into the composite electrode can be obtained in the potential window of 0.1–2.5 V vs. Na^+/Na. The composite electrodes.delivered s.dium storage capacities of 140 and 45 m Ah g^(-1) under applied current densities of 20 and 100 m A g^(-1), respectively. The pause test during constant current measurement showed a raise in the open circuit potential(OCP) of about 0.46 V, and a charge capacity loss of ～10%. These values are comparable with those reported for hard carbon electrodes. For comparison, electrodes of freeze dried V_2O_5·nH_2O nanosheets were prepared and tested for sIBs application. The results showed that the MWCNT plays a significant role in the electrochemical performance of the composite material.

With the rapid spread of the coronavirus epidemic all over the world,educational and other institutions are heading towards *** the era of digitization,identifying educational e-platform users using ear and iris bas.d multi-modal biometric systems constitutes an urgent and interesting research topic to pre-serve enterprise security,particularly with wearing a face mask as a precaution against the new coronavirus *** study proposes a multimodal system bas.d on ear and iris biometrics at the feature fusion level to identify students in electronic examinations(E-exams.during the COVId-19 *** propos.d system comprises four ***ﬁrst step is image preprocessing,which includes enhancing,segmenting,and extracting the regions of *** second step is feature extraction,where the Haralick texture and shape methods are us.d to extract the features of ear images,whereas Tamura texture and color histogram methods are us.d to extract the features of iris *** third step is feature fusion,where the extracted features of the ear and iris images are combined into one sequential fus.d *** fourth step is the matching,which is executed using the City Block dis-tance(CTB)for student identiﬁ***ﬁndings of the study indicate that the system’s recognition accuracy is 97%,with a 2%False Acceptance Rate(FAR),a 4%False Rejection Rate(FRR),a 94%Correct Recognition Rate(CRR),and a 96%Genuine Acceptance Rate(GAR).In addition,the propos.d recognition sys-tem achieved higher accuracy than other related systems.

Effect of Tempcore Processing on Mitigating Problems of Tramp Elements in Low C steel Produced from Recycled Material

The effect of tramp elements in the steel was intensively studied. It was found that the solubility of tramp elements.decreas.d as the temperature decreas.d under normal cooling conditions. The tramp elements （Cu, Pb, and sn） diffus.d toward the grain boundaries, and intermetallic compounds or rich phases which have low melting points were formed, causing reduction in ductility and failure during the bending test. Rebars with Cu content which were left to air cooling after the last step showed drop in elongation, up to 32 %. On contrast, the samples with high per- centage of tramp elements （Cu, Pb, and sn） in the billet, which were rolled and subjected to Tempcore process, did not show drop in elongation or failure in bending test （especially for rebar with diameter less than 32 mm）; however, copper must be less than 0.35 mass% to prevent the precipitation of Cu-rich zones of critical size in 32 mm. When quench- ing was applied, the tramp elements remained in the interstitial supersaturated solid solution positions ins.de the grains and would not have the chance to diffuse and form precipitates, hindering the copper precipitates from reac- hing the critical size necessary for impairing the properties. This would hinder the occurrence of the harmful effect of the tramp elements on the elongation or the hot shortness after rolling.

Rudists(Bivalvia) from a Cretaceous Platform in Northern Egypt: Taxonomy and Paleobiogeography

New well-preserved rudist materials come from the Barremian–Turonian marine formations in the Yelleg, Minsherah, Maaza, and Raghawi sections in North sinai, northern Egypt. There, 17 discovered rudist species belonging to 13 genera and seven taxonomic families are described in detail as follows: Eoradiolites plicatus(Conrad), Eoradiolites liratus(Conrad), Praeradiolites ponsianus.d'Archiac), Archaeoradiolites sp., Bournonia africana douvillé, Bournonia fourtaui douville, Biradiolites lombricalis.d'Orbigny), Biradiolites zumoffeni douville, Radiolites lewyi lewyi Parnes, Radiolites sauvagesi(d'Hombres-Firmas), durania arnaudi(Choffat), Toucasia carinata(Matheron), Toucasia sp., Neocaprina raghawiensis steuber and Bachmann, sellaea sp., Ichthyosarcolites sp. and Horoiopleura sp.. The Cenomanian deposits in the northern Eastern desert of Egypt only contain E. liratus. The domination of the Cenomanian rudist species in North sinai, however, is attributed to changes in the platform, which passes mainly from carbonate in the north to siliciclastics in the south. The presence of Horiopleura sp. in the late Barremian-early Aptian deposits is.documented for the first time, which suggests the expansion of taxa of the genus Horiopleura douville to North sinai during this interval. The age of the rudist species is.documented from the late Barremian-Turonian formations, with their geographic distribution in the Mediterranean region cons.dered..

Mitigation of the blast load effects on a building structure using newly composite structural configurations

In this study,a nonlinear three-dimensional hydrocode numerical simulation was carried out using AUTOdYN-3d to investigate the effect of blasting of a high explosive material(TNT)against several configurations of the composite *** numerical models were carried out to study the effect of varying the thickness of the walls and the effect of adding an air layer or aluminum foam layer ins.de two layers of concrete in mitigating the effect of blast waves on the structure *** results showed that increasing the thickness of walls has a good effect on mitigating the effect of blast *** a layer of air was added,the effect of blast waves was exaggerated,while when a layer of aluminum foam was added the blast wave effects were mitigated with a reasonable percentage.
