Risk of cardiovascular death in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma based on the Fine-gray model

BACKgROUND Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is one of the most common types of cancers worldwide,ranking fifth among men and seventh among women,resulting in more than 7 million deaths *** the development of medical tech-nology,the 5-year survival rate of HCC patients can be increased to 70%.How-ever,HCC patients are often at increased risk of cardiovascular disease(CVD)death due to exposure to potentially cardiotoxic treatments compared with non-HCC ***,CVD and cancer have become major disease burdens ***,further research is needed to lessen the risk of CVD death in HCC patient *** This study was conducted on the basis of the surveillance,Epidemiology,and End Results database and included HCC patients with a diagnosis period from 2010 to *** independent risk factors were identified using the Fine-gray model.A nomograph was constructed to predict the CVM in HCC *** nomograph performance was measured using Harrell’s concordance index(C-index),calibration curve,receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve,and area under the ROC curve(AUC)***,the net benefit was estimated via decision curve analysis(DCA).REsULTs The study included 21545 HCC patients,of whom 619 died of ***(status(married)[unmarried:1.370(1.076-1.745),P=0.011],alpha fetoprotein(normal)[0.778(0.640-0.946),P=0.012],tumor size(≤2 cm)[(2,5]cm:1.420(1.060-1.903),P=0.019;>5 cm:2.090(1.543-2.830),Psurgery(no)[0.376(0.297-0.476),Psk factors for CVD death in HCC *** discrimination and calibration of the nomograph were *** C-index values for the training and validation sets were 0.736 and 0.665,*** AUC values of the ROC curves at 2,4,and 6 years were 0.702,0.725,0.740 in the training set and 0.697,0.710,0.744 in the validation set,*** calibration curves showed that the

Moisture-enabled electricity(ME)is a method of converting the potential energy of water in the external environment into electrical energy through the interaction of functional materials with water molecules and can be directly applied to energy harvesting and signal ***,ME can be unreliable in numerous applications due to its sluggish response to moisture,thus sacrificing the value of fast energy harvesting and highly accurate information ***,by constructing a moisture-electric-moisture-sensitive(ME-Ms)heterostructure,we develop an efficient ME generator with ultra-fast electric response to moisture achieved by triggering grotthuss protons hopping in the sensitized ZnO,which modulates the heterostructure built-in interfacial potential,enables quick response(0.435 s),an unprecedented ultra-fast response rate of 972.4 mV s^(−1),and a durable electrical signal output for 8 h without any *** research provides an efficient way to generate electricity and important insight for a deeper understanding of the mechanisms of moisture-generated carrier migration in ME generator,which has a more comprehensive working scene and can serve as a typical model for human health monitoring and smart medical electronics design.

我国风电产业蓬勃发展,离不开国家政策的扶持,若要想可持续发展,依靠市场机制在激烈的竞争中站稳脚步,必须发挥自身的价格优势,这才是由替代能源发展为主流能源的关键,因此降低风电度电成本、提高风力发电效率将至关重要,而发电效率与翼型的气动性能密切相关,优化提高风力机专用翼型的气动性能,是增加风力机风能利用率,提高风力发电效率的关键技术之一。对于优化风力机翼型气动性能的问题,以风力机专用翼型s809翼型为研究对象,采用在翼型后缘开缝的措施,通过数值模拟的方法,研究了雷诺数为50万时翼型开缝后气动性能的变化。结果表明:在5°~10°小攻角范围内,开缝翼型相对于光滑翼型阻力系数大幅上升;0°~13°小攻角条件下,后缘开缝措施会造成翼型的升力系数减小;在14°~20°来流攻角下,后缘开缝措施可以有效提升翼型的升力系数,阻力系数几乎不变,升阻比最大可提升11.4%。通过分析翼型在8°和18°攻角下的流线图和流场云图,在大攻角来流情况下,后缘开缝延迟了流动分离点的位置,抑制了流动分离区域,改善了翼型气动性能。

Background:Bone marrow is the leading site for metastasis from neuroblastoma and affects the prognosis of patients with ***,the accurate diagnosis of bone marrow metastasis is limited by the high spatial and temporal heterogeneity of *** analysis has been applied in various cancers to build accurate diagnostic models but has not yet been applied to bone marrow metastasis of ***:We retrospectively collected information from 187 patients pathologically diagnosed with neuroblastoma and divided them into training and validation sets in a ratio of 7:3.A total of 2632 radiomics features were retrieved from venous and arterial phases of contrastenhanced computed tomography(CT),and nine machine learning approaches were used to build radiomics models,including multilayer perceptron(MLP),extreme gradient boosting,and random *** also constructed radiomics‐clinical models that combined radiomics features with clinical predictors such as age,gender,ascites,and lymph gland *** performance of the models was evaluated with receiver operating characteristics(ROC)curves,calibration curves,and risk decile ***:The MLP radiomics model yielded an area under the ROC curve(AUC)of 0.97(95%confidence interval[CI]:0.95–0.99)on the training set and 0.90(95%CI:0.82–0.95)on the validation *** radiomics‐clinical model using an MLP yielded an AUC of 0.93(95%CI:0.89–0.96)on the training set and 0.91(95%CI:0.85–0.97)on the validation ***:MLP‐based radiomics and radiomics‐clinical models can precisely predict bone marrow metastasis in patients with neuroblastoma.

Objective To investigate changes in the urinary metabolite profiles of children exposed to polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs)during critical brain development and explore their potential link with the intestinal *** Liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry was used to determine ten hydroxyl metabolites of PAHs(OH-PAHs)in 36-month-old ***,37 children were categorized into low-and high-exposure groups based on the sum of the ten ***-high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry was used to identify non-targeted metabolites in the urine ***,fecal flora abundance was assessed by 16s rRNA gene sequencing using Illumina *** The concentrations of 21 metabolites were significantly higher in the high exposure group than in the low exposure group(variable importance for projection>1,Pst of these metabolites were positively correlated with the hydroxyl metabolites of naphthalene,fluorine,and phenanthrene(r=0.336–0.531).The identified differential metabolites primarily belonged to pathways associated with inflammation or proinflammatory states,including amino acid,lipid,and nucleotide ***,these distinct metabolites were significantly associated with specific intestinal flora abundances(r=0.34–0.55),which were mainly involved in *** Higher PAH exposure in young children affected metabolic homeostasis,particularly that of certain gut microbiota-derived *** investigation is needed to explore the potential influence of PAHs on the gut microbiota and their possible association with neurodevelopmental outcomes.

Human-specific insertions play important roles in human phenotypes and *** we reported a 446-bp insertion(Insert-446)in intron 11 of the TBC1D8B gene,located on chromosome X,and traced its origin to a portion of intron 6 of the EBF1 gene on chromosome ***,Insert-446 was present in the human Neanderthal and Denisovans genomes,and was fixed in humans after human-chimpanzee *** have demonstrated that Insert-446 acts as an enhancer through binding transcript factors that promotes a higher expression of human TBC1D8B gene as compared with orthologs in *** addition,over-expression TBC1D8B promoted cell proliferation and migration through“a dual finger”catalytic mechanism(Arg538 and gln573)in the TBC domain in vitro and knockdown of TBC1D8B attenuated tumorigenesis in *** of Insert-446 prevented cell proliferation and migration in cancer and normal *** results reveal that the human-specific Insert-446 promotes cell proliferation and migration by upregulating the expression of TBC1D8B *** findings provide a significant insight into the effects of human-specific insertions on evolution.

BACKgROUND The expression pattern of gamma aminobutyric acid(gABA)receptor subunits are commonly altered in patients with schizophrenia,which may lead to nerve excitation/inhibition problems,affecting cognition,emotion,and *** To explore gABA receptor expression and its relationship with schizophrenia and to provide insights into more effective *** This case-control study enrolled 126 patients with schizophrenia treated at our hospital and 126 healthy volunteers who underwent physical examinations at our hospital during the same *** expression levels of the gABA receptor subunits were detected using 1H-magnetic resonance *** recognized cognitive battery tool,the MATRICs Consensus Cognitive Battery,was used to evaluate the scores for various dimensions of cognitive *** correlation between gABA receptor subunit downregulation and schizophrenia was also *** significant differences in gABA receptor subunit levels were found between the case and control groups(Psignificant difference was also found between the case and control groups in terms of cognitive function measures,including attention/alertness and learning ability(Pspecifically,as the expression levels of gABRA1(α1 subunit gene),gABRB2(β2 subunit gene),gABRD(δsubunit),and gABRE(εsubunit)decreased,the severity of the patients’condition increased gradually,indicating a positive correlation between the downregulation of these 4 receptor subunits and schizophrenia(Pssion levels of gABRA5(α5 subunit gene)and gABRA6(α6 subunit gene)showed no significant correlation with schizophrenia(P>0.05).CONCLUsION Downregulation of the gABA receptor subunits is positively correlated with *** other words,when gABA receptor subunits are downregulated in patients,cognitive impairment becomes more severe.

与传统契约论对国家合法性的论证思路一致,卢梭的人性论亦从对“自然”和自然人的分析出发,在此基础上逐步建构理想和应然的国家状态。卢梭的独特性在于:将人性的根本定义为自然的情感和良心;在人的理性能力之外,提出基于自然的自由以完善认识的乐观主义认识论,进而推导出能善和向善的人性论。卢梭据此实现了个人与国家、政治与道德的一致性论证。卢梭偏重情感的善好人性论是对启蒙时代理性人性论的补正,完善了启蒙的意义,同时也启示我们在当下重新审视与还原人性的独特、高贵和尊严。
