Complexed amino acid minerals ***-glycinate chelated minerals:Impact on the performance of old laying hens

The present study was to evaluate the effect of trace minerals(Zn,Mn,and Cu)from complexed amino acid minerals(ZMCAA)and bis-glycinate chelated minerals(ZMCGly)in laying hen diets on performance,internal and external egg quality,yolk mineral deposition,intestinal morphometry,and bone *** 78 to 98 weeks of age,400 White LsL-Lite strain laying hens were d.stributed in a randomized d.sign with 4 treatments with 10 replicates.p.r *** were d.stributed in a 2×2 factorial arrangement using either Zn,Mn,and Cu of ZMCAA or ZMCGly source at 2 levels:low(20,20,and 3.5 mg/kg of Zn,Mn,and Cu,respectively)or high(40,40,and 7 mg/kg of Zn,Mn,and Cu,respectively).The analysis of variance was.p.rformed,and in cases where differences were observed,the means were compared using Tukey?s test(psource and level of trace mineral s.p.lementation had a significant impact on the performance of laying *** fed ZMCAA had higher egg production(p=0.01),egg weight(p=0.02),egg mass.p.0.01),and lower feed conversion ratio(p=0.05)compared to those fed *** ZMCAA s.p.lementation showed higher albumen height(p=0.01),albumen weight(p=0.01),and eggshell thickness.p.0.01).The deposition of Zn(ppd Cu(ps greater for hens received *** weight(p=0.04)and bone densitometry(pre higher with ZMCAA *** the small intestine,ZMCAA resulted in longer villi(p=0.02)and.shorter crypt depth(p=0.01)in the *** and ileum measurements were influenced by the level and.source of trace minerals.p.0.05).Laying hens fed ZMCAA exhibited s.p.rior performance,egg quality,deposition of trace minerals in the egg yolk,and bone density compared to hens fed *** this study,older laying hens s.p.lemented with ZMCAA at lower levels demonstrated adequate levels of s.p.lementation.

Temperature is a key factor that shapes the d.stribution of *** knowledge about how species respond to temperature is relevant to devise strategies for addressing the impacts of climate *** insects are particularly vulnerable to climate change,yet there is still much to learn about their ecology and *** the Yungas ecoregion of Northwestern Argentina,cold-and warm-adapted.species of the orders Ephemeroptera,plecoptera,and Trichoptera(EpT)are segregated by *** modeled the ecological niche of south am.rican EpT species in this region using available data and projected their potential d.stribution in geographic *** were grouped based on their ecogeographic similarity,and we analyzed their replacement pattern along elevation gradients,focusing on the ecotone where opposing thermal preferences *** this interface,we identified critical points where the combined incidence of cold and warm assemblages maximizes,indicating a significant transition *** found that the Montane Cloud Forest holds the interface,with a particularly greater suitability at its lower *** main axis of the interface runs in a N-s direction and falls between 14°C-16°C mean annual *** probability of a particular location within a basin being classified as.p.rt of the interface increases as Kira’s warmth index approaches a score around *** the interface is critical for defining the thermal limits of species d.stribution and d.signing biomonitoring *** in the location of thermal constants related to mountainous ecotones may cause vertical d.splacement of aquatic insects and vegetation *** have recognized.significant temperature thresholds that serve as indicators of suitability for the *** global warming is anticipated to shift these indicators,we suggest using them to monitor the imprints of climate change on mountain ecosystems.

Ion heat transport in electron cyclotron resonance heated L-mode plasma on the T-10 tokamak

Anomalous ion heat transport is analyzed in the T-10 tokamak plasma heated with electron cyclotron resonance heating(ECrH) in second-harmonic extra-ordinary mode. predictive modeling with empirical scaling for Ohmical heat conductivity shows that in ECrH plasmas the calculated ion temperature could be overestimated, so an increase of anomalous ion heat transport is required. To study this effect two scans are presented: over the EC resonance position and over the ECrH power. The EC resonance position varies from the high-field.side to the low-field.side by variation of the toroidal magnetic field. The scan over the heating power is.p.esented with on-axis and mixed ECrH regimes. d.scharges with high anomalous ion heat transport are obtained in all considered regimes. In these d.scharges the power balance ion heat conductivity exceeds the neoclassical level by up to 10 times. The high ion heat transport regimes are d.stinguished by three parameters: the ratio Te/Ti, the normalized electron density gradient r/■, and the ion–ion collisionality νii~*. The combination of high Te/Ti, high νii~*, and r/■=6-10 results in values of normalized anomalous ion heat fluxes up to 10 times higher than in the low transport scenario.

Urban green spaces(UGs)are relevant to city well-being,as recognized by the United Nations’sustainable development Goals(sd.s).However,few studies have studied the temporal use of *** work assessed the seasonal,weekly,and daily use of three urban green spaces(Vingis.p.rk,Bernardino Garden,and Jomantas.p.rk)in Vilnius(Lithuania).The study is based on an on-site observation-based.survey,which recorded users’characteristics,activities,and weather conditions during summer and *** results showed that UGs’s seasonal,weekly,and daily use differed according to park and users’*** with a higher diversity of facilities had a high seasonal difference in the number of observed *** numbers were higher in the summer for activities with children,social activities,sports,and water activities than in the *** park had the lowest variability in user *** variables were linked to changes in users’*** precipitation and lower temperature were associated with reducing the number of users and the diversity of registered *** of the stationary activities were observed during *** diversity of the observed activities was associated with the available facilities rather than the park *** d.stribution of stationary activities was spatially correlated with facility/equipment(benches.p.aygrounds,sports,and fitness equipment)and proximity to water *** results of this study are relevant for UGs d.sign,planning,and management.

Immune response to inactivated bacterial vector carrying the recombinant K39 antigen of Leishmania infantum in mice

The stockholm Convention on persistent Organic pollutants.p.ps)is a legally binding instrument for 186 parties(status:April 2023).Accordingly,among other responsibilities,countries are obliged to report the production,import,or export of the pOps listed in Annexes A,B,or C;provide information to registers;maintain inventories;and monitor the presence of pOps in the *** the broader context of international chemicals and waste management,producer responsibilities,harmonized reporting,and compliance with national and international regulations,Ecuador has addressed the newly listed group of perfluorinated alkyl substances.p.As)in its national implementation plan and.sent selected products from its national market for pFAs *** products analyzed came from the initially listed fields of specific exemptions and acceptable purposes,including:fire-fighting foams.p.otographic aids;greasers/degreasers;various kinds of paper/packaging;textiles;and leather,coatings,cleaners,metal plating,and *** results showed that the three pFAs.p.esently listed in the stockholm Convention could be quantified in only a few samples;additional pFAs,not yet listed in the Convention also had low detection *** the number of samples was limited,the samples covered a large spectrum of sample matrices,making it possible to conclude that—once these products become waste and are regulated under the Basel Convention—they would not constitute a d.sposal ***,verification of the presence of pFAs in products on the market is expected to pose an analytical challenge for both,developed and developing countries.

Generalized polynomial chaos expansion by reanalysis using static condensation based on substructuring

This.p.per presents a new computational method for forward uncertainty quantification(UQ)analyses on large-scale structural systems in the presence of arbitrary and dependent random *** method consists of a generalized polynomial chaos expansion(GpCE)for statistical moment and reliability analyses associated with the stochastic output and a static reanalysis method to generate the input-output data *** the reanalysis,we employ substructuring for a structure to isolate its local regions that vary due to random *** allows for avoiding repeated computations of invariant substructures while generating the input-output data *** substructuring with static condensation further improves the computational efficiency of the reanalysis without losing ***,the GpCE with the static reanalysis method can achieve significant computational saving,thus mitigating the curse of dimensionality to some degree for UQ under high-dimensional *** numerical results obtained from a simple structure indicate that the proposed method for UQ produces accurate solutions more efficiently than the GpCE using full finite element analyses(FEAs).We also demonstrate the efficiency and.scalability of the proposed method by executing UQ for a large-scale wing-box structure under ten-dimensional(all-dependent)random inputs.
