The laser-damage performance of optics is known to be negatively affected by microscale particle contamination induced by the operational *** work investigates the properties of particles accumulating in various locations near critical optics inside the OMEgA EP grating compressor chamber during quarterly operational periods over a 2-year *** particles found were characterized using optical microscopy,scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive X-ray *** analysis indicates significant concentrations of micrometer-to nanometerscale particles inside the vacuum chamber,with higher values observed near the port leading to the OMEgA EP target *** distribution of the chemical composition of these particles varies between collection *** understanding of the mechanisms of particle generation and transport remains uncertain,the hypothesis is that this particle load represents a risk for contaminating the surfaces of high-value optics located inside the chamber,including the compression gratings and deformable mirrors,and therefore affecting their laser-damage resistance and overall operational lifetime.

The luminescent phosphor powder in the fluorescent lamp constitutes 2%of the lamp’s *** can be mentioned that fluorescent wastes are a crucial raw material to produce rare earth *** the present study,microwave leaching process was conducted to dissolve rare earth elements yttrium(Y),europium(Eu),and remaining rare earth elements(REEs)present in the phosphor powder of the fluorescent *** the yields were *** the microwave leaching process,the effects of the temperature(80-160℃),acid type(hydrochloric acid(HCl),nitric acid(HnO_(3)),sulphuric acid(H_(2)sO_(4))),acid concentration(0.5-6 mol/L),solid to liquid ratio(0.1:10-0.5:10)and reaction time(5-90 min)parameters on leaching efficiencies of varying rare earth elements and calcium were *** highest yield was obtained in the direct microwave leaching of fluorescent waste with the experimental conditions of 6 mol/L HCl,160℃,0.1:10 solid-to-liquid ratio(s:L),and 90 *** energy calculations were made,and kinetic models of the reactions were obtained,and it is observed that Y and Eu dissolution is diffusion-controlled,on the other hand,lanthanum(La),cerium(Ce),and terbium(Tb)were examined to be chemical reaction ***,calcium(Ca)and gadolinium(gd)seem coherent with the mixed ***,mathematical models of all experimental studies are created with the response surface box-behnken method and the correlation coefficients of all the models are over 90%.

A weakly magnetized sheath for a collisionless, electronegative plasma comprising positive ions,electrons, and negative ions is investigated numerically using the fluid approach. The electrons are considered to be non-Maxwellian in nature and are described by Tsalli's distribution. such electrons have a substantial effect on the sheath properties. The study also reveals that non-Maxwellian distribution is the most realistic description for negative ions in the presence of an oblique magnetic field. In addition to the negative ion temperature, the sheath potential is also affected by the nonextensive parameters. The present research finds application in the plasma processing and semiconductor industry as well as in space plasmas.

Microalgae have been recommended as superior candidate for fuel production because of their advantages of higher photosynthetic efficiency, biomass & lipid productivity, and faster growth rate as compared to other energy crops. To meet up all these criteria, we have developed a continuous outdoor micro-algal raceway pond reactor(RPR) and a lab scale indoor tubular photo bioreactor(PbR) for biofuel production. An attempt to utilise indigenous sources of nutrients to improve the economics also revealed that micro-algal culturing can also be used as a mode of nutrient removal and water treatment. The photosynthetic rate and lipid production were enhanced by arresting daytime cell division and promoting night-time cell division. A 50% lipid improvement was observed for the particular algal consortia. Microscopic studies revealed that temporal phase separation could be achieved by adjusting nutrient distribution pattern. To monitor temporal phase separation, it is required to know DnA multiplication model. Quantification of g DnA in RPR confirmed that cell division happens during the night which positively affects the photosynthetic efficiency and lipid productivity of microalgae.

This paper proposes a new two dimensional（2D） analytical model for a germanium（ge） single gate silicon-on-insulator tunnel field effect transistor（sg sOI TFET）. The parabolic approximation technique is used to solve the 2D Poisson equation with suitable boundary conditions and analytical expressions are derived for the surfacepotential,*** is derived further by using the electric fields. The results show that ge based TFETs have significant improvements ***heanalytical model results with the technology computer aided design（TCAD） simulation results and also comparing them with results from a silicon based TFET.
