Background. Violence agains. women has.become an international public health and.human rights.is.ue in recent d.cad.s. The violence s.ffered.by s.x workers.is.of little interes. for res.arch, yet it cons.itutes.a major health and.s.fety problem. We propos. to as.es. the extent of the phenomenon of gend.r-bas.d.violence (GBV) among s.x workers.(s.s. in the city of Bangui in the CAR. Method.logy: This.is.a d.s.riptive cros.-s.ctional epid.miological s.ud. covering the period.from july to October 2021 carried.out among s.s.in Bangui, the capital of the CAR. Given that the s.s.as.ociation had.only 159 members.in Bangui, an exhaus.ive s.mpling was.retained. Were includ.d.in the s.ud., any s. pres.nt d.ring the d.ta collection period.and.having given their written cons.nt. The parameters.s.ud.ed.were s.cio-d.mographic characteris.ics. age, s.x, res.d.nce, level of ed.cation, marital s.atus. and.characteris.ics.linked.to violence: the notion of violence d.ring their profes.ional activity, the type of violence, the d.claration and.the d.claration if neces.ary, the res.ons. and.management of this.violence. The d.ta collected.was.analyzed.us.ng Epi info vers.on 7 s.ftware. Res.lts. Of the 159 s.s.that counted.the as.ociation, 108 had.been includ.d. The average age was.27.0 years.with extremes.of 14 and.46 years. The age groups.of 25 to 34 years.were the mos. repres.nted.(43.5%). Fifty-s.x s.s.(51.9%) had.reached.the s.cond.ry level. Unemployed.s.s.were in the majority at 74.1%;s.xty-s.x (66) s.s.in our s.mple (61.1%) had.alread. been victims.of violence d.ring the exercis. of their activity s.xual violence was.the mos. repres.nted.(28.5%) followed.by verbal violence (22.4%). s.xty-eight (62.9%) wanted.to s.op the profes.ional activity of s.s.and.93.1% would.accept another income-generating activity in place of s.x work. Conclus.on: It is.neces.ary to s.pervis. s.s.and.protect them within the framework of res.ect for human rights. rather than criminalizing them and.the exploit

The id.ntification of jets.originating from quarks.and.gluons.often referred.to as.quark/gluon tagging,plays.an important role in various.analys.s.performed.at the Large Had.on Collid.r,as.s.and.rd.Mod.l meas.rements.and.s.arches.for new particles.d.caying to quarks.often rely on s.ppres.ing a large gluon-ind.ced.*** paper d.s.ribes.the meas.rement of the efficiencies.of quark/gluon taggers.d.veloped.within the ATLAs.Collaboration,us.ng √s.13 TeV proton–proton collis.on d.ta with an integrated.luminos.ty of 140 fb^(-1) collected.by the ATLAs.*** taggers.with high performances.in rejecting jets.from gluon over jets.from quarks.are s.ud.ed.one tagger is.bas.d.on requirements.on the number of inner-d.tector tracks.as.ociated.with the jet,and.the other combines.s.veral jet s.bs.ructure obs.rvables.us.ng a boos.ed.d.cis.on tree.A method.is.es.ablis.ed.to d.termine the quark/gluon fraction in d.ta,by us.ng quark/gluon-enriched.s.bs.mples.d.fined.by the jet *** in tagging efficiency between d.ta and.s.mulation are provid.d.for jets.with trans.ers. momentum between 500 GeV and.2 TeV and.for multiple tagger working points.

Context: Pulmonary artery catheters.PACs. have been us.d.to guid. therapy in multiple s.ttings. but recent s.ud.es.have rais.d.concerns.that PACs.may lead.to increas.d.mortality in hos.italized.patients. Objective: To d.termine whether PAC us. is.s.fe and.improves.clinical outcomes.in patients.hos.italized.with s.vere s.mptomatic and.recurrent heart failure. d.s.gn, s.tting, and.Participants. The Evaluation s.ud. of Conges.ive Heart Failure and.Pulmonary Artery Catheterization Effectivenes.(Es.APE) was.a rand.mized.controlled.trial of 433 patients.at 26 s.tes.cond.cted.from january 18, 2000, to November 17, 2003. Patients.were as.igned.to receive therapy guid.d.by clinical as.es.ment and.a PAC or clinical as.es.ment alone. The target in both groups.was.res.lution of clinical conges.ion, with ad.itional PAC targets.of a pulmonary capillary wed.e pres.ure of 15 mm Hg and.a right atrial pres.ure of 8 mm Hg. Objective: To d.s.ribe the d.mographic and.evolutionary characteris.ics.of pregnant and.pos.partum women with coronavirus.d.s.as. 2019 (COVId.19) ad.itted.to a med.um-s.zed.hos.ital in Brazil. Method. This.is.a d.s.riptive and.retros.ective s.ud., collected.from med.cal record.0} from March 2020 to October 2021 in a hos.ital located.in Cuiabá (MT). Res.lts. Pregnant and.puerperal women with COVId.19 who need.d.hos.italization were mixed.race, from the metropolitan area, and.carriers.of mod.rate and.s.vere forms.of the d.s.as.. The primary ris. cond.tion found.was.overweight/obes.ty, and.pre-ges.ational d.abetes. hypertens.on, as.hma, and.autoimmune d.s.as. were the mos. prevalent comorbid.ties.in the group. Elevated.lactate d.hyd.ogenas. (Ld.), c-reactive protein (CRP), and.d.d.mer were relevant laboratory find.ngs.in this.group of patients. The mos. frequent maternal outcomes.were res.iratory failure, invas.ve ventilatory s.pport, thromboembolic phenomena, s.ps.s. and.preterm labor. Maternal d.ath occurred.in 6.4% of pregnant women. Mos. maternal d.aths.were of women who lived.in the interior of the s.ate, and.the minority arrived.on ad.quate ventilatory s.pport. Prematurity and.the need.for neonatal intens.ve care unit (NICU) were s.gnificant complications.for neonates. s.illbirth/neonatal mortality occurred.in 11.0%. Conclus.on: The clinical cond.tions.at hos.italization were as.ociated.with wors. living cond.tions.and.lack of acces. to health care, res.lting in increas.d.chances.of s.verity and.wors.ning outcomes.in this.group of women and.neonates.
