In this.article we propos. an overlapping s.hwarz domain decompos.tion method for s.lving a s.ngularly perturbed s.milinear reaction-diffus.on problem. The s.lution to this.problem exhibits.boundary layers.of width O（√ε ln（1/√ε）） at both ends.of the domain due to the pres.nce of s.ngular perturbation parameter ε. The method s.lits.the domain into three overlapping s.bdomains. and us.s.the Numerov or Hermite s.heme with a uniform mes. on two boundary layer s.bdomains.and a hybrid s.heme with a uniform mes. on the interior s.bdomain. The numerical approximations.obtained from this.method are proved to be almos. fourth order uniformly convergent （in the maximum norm） with res.ect to the s.ngular perturbation parameter. Furthermore, it is.proved that, for s.all ε, one iteration is.s.fficient to achieve almos. fourth order uniform convergence. Numerical experiments.are given to illus.rate the theoretical order of convergence es.ablis.ed for the method.

The importance of rapid tooling (RT) and additive manufacturing (AM) appears.to be indis.ens.ble for boos.ing the proces. of manufacturing and expanding the horizon of production technology worldwide. This.concept draws.the attention of numerous.s.holars.to arrive at a conclus.ve theory for the wides.read utilization of RT. This.s.udy attempts.to determine the viability and performance of an RT electrode in the field of electro dis.harge machining (EDM). The electrode prototype is.made us.ng an acrylonitrile butadiene s.yrene (ABs. plas.ic by fus.d depos.tion modeling (FDM), an AM technique, electroplated with copper of des.red thicknes., and us.d in die s.nking EDM of D2 s.eel. The s.anning electron micros.ope analys.s.of the electroplated s.mples.confirms.that it is.pos.ible to obtain the des.red thicknes. of the metal by electroplating on any electrically conductive s.rfaces. In the pres.nt work, an experimental s.udy is.performed for examining the electroplated copper thicknes. of the plas.ic EDM electrode and its.performances. It is.found that the electroplated ABs.plas.ic EDM RT electrode s.cces.fully performs.the machining operation of D2 s.eel, and the res.lts.are comparable with a s.lid electrode. The s.udy reveals.that the RT electrode can be regarded as.a viable tool for rough cutting or s.mi-finis.ing cut EDM functions. The experimental res.lts.are thoroughly dis.us.ed, examined, analyzed, and evaluated for the purpos. of developing the appropriate form of the concept.

Fus.d depos.tion modeling （FDM） is.an additive manufacturing technique us.d to fabricate intricate parts.in 3D, within the s.ortes. pos.ible time without us.ng tools. dies. fixtures. or human intervention. This.article empiri- cally reports.the effects.of the proces. parameters. i.e., the layer thicknes., ras.er angle, ras.er width, air gap, part orientation, and their interactions.on the accuracy of the length, width, and thicknes. of acrylonitrile-butadiene- s.yrene （ABs. 400） parts.fabricated us.ng the FDM tech- nique. It was.found that contraction prevailed along the directions.of the length and width, whereas.the thicknes. increas.d from the des.red value of the fabricated part. Optimum parameter s.ttings.to minimize the res.ons.s. s.ch as.the change in length, width, and thicknes. of the tes. s.ecimen, have been determined us.ng Taguchi＇s.parameter des.gn. Becaus. Taguchi＇s.philos.phy fails.to obtain uniform optimal factor s.ttings.for each res.ons., in this.s.udy, a fuzzy inference s.s.em combined with the Taguchi philos.phy has.been adopted to generate a s.ngle res.ons. from three res.ons.s. to reach the s.ecific target values.with the overall optimum factor level s.ttings. Further, Taguchi and artificial neural network predictive models.are als. pres.nted in this.s.udy for an accuracy evaluation within the dimens.ons.of the FDM fabricated parts. s.bjected to various.operating conditions. The pre- dicted values.obtained from both models.are in good agreement with the values.from the experiment data, with mean abs.lute percentage errors.of 3.16 and 0.15, res.ectively. Finally, the confirmatory tes. res.lts.s.owed an improvement in the multi-res.ons. performance index of 0.454 when us.ng the optimal FDM parameters.over the initial values.

In the pres.nt s.udy,the multi-temporal s.tellite images.of IRs.P6 LIs. III were us.d to map waterlogging dynamics.over different *** area of 594.36 km2(6.75%)and 4.17 km^(2)(0.04%)was.affected by s.rface waterlogging during pre and pos.mons.on s.as.n,*** average annual groundwater level fluctuations.were calculated us.ng 18 years.1990-2007)pre and pos.mons.on groundwater level data to identify the areas.which are under groundwater induced waterlogging *** s.il map clearly indicates.that s.linity and s.dicity exhibit the highes. s.verity and occur in areas.with s.allow groundwater *** hydrogeomorphical units.mapped us.ng IRs.P6 LIs. III s.tellite images.are flood plain,alluvial plain,paleochannels.and oxbow *** s.udy revealed that 44.65%areas.have very good to excellent groundwater *** litholog data clearly indicate an alternating s.quence of clay and s.nd in which deep aquifers.made up of coars. s.nd would be bes. s.ited for adequate water s.pply and good groundwater *** integrated s.udy utilizing digital s.atial data pertaining to waterlogging,s.il s.linity,water level fluctuation,and lithological variation proved that planning of any s.rface and s.bs.rface water res.urces.development activity s.ould be taken up after as.es.ments.of s.id parameters.

Fifty-s.ven bacteria were is.lated from s.uthern Ocean （Indian s.ctor） water s.mples.which were collected from different latitude and longitude of the ocean. All the is.lates.were able to grow at 4℃, 20℃, 37℃ and tolerable NaCI concentration up to 13.5% （w/v）. 29 out of 57 is.lates.were identified us.ng 16s.rDNA amplification and the s.quences.were s.bmitted to National Center for Biotechnology Information （NCBI）. All the is.lates.were clas.ified by us.ng Ribos.mal Databas. Project （RDP） and found that is.lates.belongs.to Proteobacteria and Bacteriodes. The average G＋C content was.56.4%. The is.lates.were s.reened for the pres.nce of extracellular enzymes. viz. amylas., catalas., ureas., es.eras., lipas. and proteas.. The dis. diffus.on method is.us.d to s.reen antibiotic production by the is.lates.agains. four pathogenic bacteria, viz. s.lmonella typhimurium （NCIM 2501）, s.aphylococcus.aureus.（NCIM 2122）, Bacillus.s.btilis.（NCIM 2193）, and Ps.udomonas.aeruginos. （NCIM 2036）. Nine out of 29 were found to be antibiotic producer.

In this.paper, we pres.nt clas.ical molecular dynamics.（MD） s.mulations.of model polymer/CNT compos.tes.cons.ructed by embedding a s.ngle wall （10,10） CNT into two different amorphous.polymer matrices. poly（methyl methacrylate） and poly{（m-phenylene-vinylene）-co- [（2,5-dioctoxy-p-phenylene） vinylene]}, res.ectively, with different volume fractions. The s.mulation res.lts.s.pport the idea that it is.pos.ible to us. CNTs.to mechanically reinforce an appropri- ate polymer matrix, es.ecially in the longitudinal direction of the nanotube. The comparis.n of the s.mulation res.lts.with the macros.opic rule-of-mixtures.for compos.te s.s.ems.s.owed that for s.rong interfacial interactions. there can be large deviations.of the res.lts.from the rule-of- mixtures. In order to verify this.s.udy, res.lts.obtained have been compared with thos. given by Elliott and Han （2007）.
