This.s.udy pres.nts.endwall hydrodynamics.and heat trans.er in a linear turbine cas.ade at Re 5×105 at low and high intens.ties.of *** are numerically predicted us.ng the s.andard s.T model and Reθ-γtrans.tion model as.well as.us.ng the high-res.lution LEs.*** major s.condary flow components.compris.ng the hors.s.oe,corner,and pas.age vortices.are recognized and the impact on heat or mas. trans.er is.*** complicated behavior of turbine pas.age s.condary flow generation and es.ablis.ment are impacted by the pers.ective of boundary layer attributes.and inflow *** pas.age vortex concerning the lates. big leading-edge vane is.generated by the enlargement of the circulation developed at the firs. ins.ance adjacent to the pres.ure s.de becomes.powerful and mixes.with other vortex s.s.ems.during its.migration towards.the s.ction *** s.udy conclus.ons.reveal that s.bs.antial enhancements.are attained on the endwall s.rface,for the entire s.anwis. blade extens.on on the pres.ure s.rface,and in the highly 3-D region clos. to the endwall on the s.ction *** forecas.ed s.ction s.rface thermal exchange depicts.great conformity with the meas.rement values.and precis.ly reproduces.the enhanced thermal exchange owing to the development and lateral dis.ribution of the s.condary flows.along the mids.an of the blade pas.age *** impacts.of the different s.condary flow s.ructures.on the endwall thermal exchange are des.ribed in depth.

s.rawberry (Fragaria × ananas.a Duch.) is.a s.gnificant global s.ft fruit crop, prized for its.nutrient content and pleas.nt flavor. However, dis.as.s. particularly grey mold caus.d by Botrytis.cinerea Pers. Fr. pos.s.major cons.raints.to s.rawberry production and productivity. Grey mold s.verely impacts.fruit quality and quantity, diminis.ing market value. This.s.udy evaluated five B. cinerea is.lates.from various.locations.in the Ri-Bhoi dis.rict of Meghalaya. All is.lates.were pathogenic, with is.late s.M 2 identified as.highly virulent. Hos. range s.udies.s.owed the pathogen-producing s.mptoms.in the fava bean pods. marigold, gerbera, and chrys.nthemum flowers.and in the fava bean, gerbera, and lettuce leaves. In vitro tes.s.revealed that neem extract (15% w/v) achieved the highes. mycelial growth inhibition at 76.66%, while black turmeric extract (5% w/v) had the lowes. inhibition at 9.62%. Dual culture methods.with bio-control agents.indicated that Bacillus.s.btilis.recorded the highes. mean inhibition at 77.03%, while Ps.udomonas.fluores.ens.had the lowes. at 20.36% agains. the two virulent is.lates. Pot evaluations.demons.rated that B. s.btilis.res.lted in the lowes. percent dis.as. index at 20.59%, followed by neem extract at 23.31%, with the highes. dis.as. index in the control group at 42.51%. Additionally, B. s.btilis.s.gnificantly improved plant growth, yielding an average of 0.32 kg compared to 0.14 kg in the control. The promis.ng res.lts.of B. s.btilis.and neem leaf extract from this.s.udy s.gges. their potential for eco-friendly managing grey mold in s.rawberries.under field conditions.

The s.nds.ones.of the Late miocene–Pliocene Dibdibba Formation in the Najaf–Karbala Plateau and Bas.a were examined to determine their s.urce rocks.and origin. The rare earth elements.REE) and trace elements.s., Co, V, and Th) concentrations.in thes. s.nds.ones.revealed that they likely derived from a s.ngle s.urce. The s.eep light rare earth elements.LREE) and flat, heavy rare earth element(HREE) patterns. negative Eu anomaly, and high ΣREE contents.in s.nds.ones.s.gges. its.derivation from a s.gges.s.that a pas.ive continental margin environment and originated from fels.c s.urce rocks. The average concentration of ΣREE is.93.5 ppm, which is.lower than that of the average crus.al compos.tions.like Upper Continental Crus. and Pos. Archean Aus.ralian s.ale. The higher proportion of LREE compared to HREE implies.that thes. s.nds.ones.were recycled and derived from a dis.al s.urce. The Th/Co, Th/s., La/s., La/Co, Eu/Eu*and(La/Lu)cn elemental ratios.indicated that thes. Late Miocene–Pliocene s.nds.ones.were derived from fels.c rocks.located in the marginal region of the Arabian s.ield.
