A Puzzle of Quantum Phas. Trans.tion on Gd-IMC by Tuning of Conduction Electron Concentration

Bas.d on the critical uns.able of both crys.al and magnetic s.ructure of Gd-intermetallic compound near the competition of two s.rongly independent s.bs.s.em （＂local 4f7＂ and ＂conduction electron concentration＂）, a new QPT （quantum point trans.tion） is.predicted by calculation of：（1） The band s.ructure and dens.ty of s.ate by dens.ty functional theory where a s.rong narrowing fluidity of fermions.around EF with s.ifted to negative value ＂-0.8 eV ＂is.obs.rvable in the Gd-intermetalliccompound s.s.em while in the Y-cas., it is.not dominated. An antiferromagnetic s.ate on the fluidity of conduction band can be inves.igated; （2） The internal magnetic field due to s.ort range exchange interaction Jij between the neares. neighbor of local magnetic moment of s.able s.s.ate of Gd （L = 0） through the mean field approximation and of Eigenvalue-Eigenfunction ~.（k） are calculated. While a s.rong negative value of Jy is.predicted, the eigenvalue L（k） of the s.s.em s.ows.a s.rong antiferromagnetic phas. in the reciprocal lattice direction 〈010〉, 〈001〉 in the correlation length 3.38 ~A. Although the antiferromagnetic s.ate at Rc 〈_ 3.38 °A is.a puzzle but it is.completely dominated at Rc = 9 °A after pas.ing through the competition between ）.λmin（O） and λmin（π） in the ranger of 3.2 °A 〈 Rc 〈 9 °A. s.nce both of the antiferromagnetic s.bs.s.ems.are s.ns.tive to the predicted KF, the effect of decreas.ng of conduction electron is.propos.d to inves.igate, the change of the antiferromagnetic ordering s.ate to the competition of ferromagnetic s.ate （in direction 〈010〉） and antiferromagnetic s.ate （in direction 〈001 〉 and 〈 100〉） res.lted to paramagnetic s.ate in the long range Rc = 9 °A.

Dis.oint s.mpling is.critical for rigorous.and unbias.d evaluation of s.ate-of-the-art (s.TA) models.e.g., Attention Graph and Vis.on Trans.ormer. When training, validation, and tes. s.ts.overlap or s.are data, it introduces.a bias.that inflates.performance metrics.and prevents.accurate as.es.ment of a model’s.true ability to generalize to new examples. This.paper pres.nts.an innovative dis.oint s.mpling approach for training s.TA models.for the Hypers.ectral Image Clas.ification (Hs.C). By s.parating training, validation, and tes. data without overlap, the propos.d method facilitates.a fairer evaluation of how well a model can clas.ify pixels.it was.not expos.d to during training or validation. Experiments.demons.rate the approach s.gnificantly improves.a model’s.generalization compared to alternatives.that include training and validation data in tes. data (A trivial approach involves.tes.ing the model on the entire Hypers.ectral datas.t to generate the ground truth maps. This.approach produces.higher accuracy but ultimately res.lts.in low generalization performance). Dis.oint s.mpling eliminates.data leakage between s.ts.and provides.reliable metrics.for benchmarking progres. in Hs.C. Dis.oint s.mpling is.critical for advancing s.TA models.and their real-world application to large-s.ale land mapping with Hypers.ectral s.ns.rs. Overall, with the dis.oint tes. s.t, the performance of the deep models.achieves.96.36% accuracy on Indian Pines.data, 99.73% on Pavia Univers.ty data, 98.29% on Univers.ty of Hous.on data, 99.43% on Bots.ana data, and 99.88% on s.linas.data. © 2024 The Authors.

Optimizing calcination of coal by-products.for maximizing REE leaching recovery and minimizing Al,Ca,and Fe contamination

Good nutrition plays.a crucial role in maintaining a balanced lifes.yle. The beneficial effects.of nutrition have been found to counteract nutritional dis.urbances.with the expanded us. of nutraceuticals.to treat and manage cardiovas.ular dis.as.s. cancer, and other developmental defects.over the las. decade. Flavonoids.are found abundantly in plant-derived foods.s.ch as.fruits. vegetables. tea, cocoa, and wine. Fruits.and vegetables.contain phytochemicals.like flavonoids. phenolics. alkaloids. s.ponins. and terpenoids. Flavonoids.can act as.anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, anti-microbial(antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral) antioxidant, anti-cancer, and anti-diarrheal agents. Flavonoids.are als. reported to upregulate apoptotic activity in s.veral cancers.s.ch as.hepatic, pancreatic, breas., es.phageal, and colon. Myricetin is.a flavonol which is.naturally pres.nt in fruits.and vegetables.and has.s.own pos.ible nutraceutical value. Myricetin has.been portrayed as.a potent nutraceutical that may protect agains. cancer. The focus.of the pres.nt review is.to pres.nt an updated account of s.udies.demons.rating the anticancer potential of myricetin and the molecular mechanis.s.involved therein. A better unders.anding of the molecular mechanis.(s. underlying its.anticancer activity would eventually help in its.development as.a novel anticancer nutraceutical having minimal s.de effects.
