Soil.contaminated.with pesticid.s may red.ce pl.nt d.vel.pment d.e to their toxicity. The aim of this stud. was to eval.ate the infl.ence on the germination of Zea mayz and Phaseolus vulgaris of the two main intermediates of the 2,4-D degradation, which are 4-chlorophenol (4-CP) and 2,4-dichlorophenol (2,4-DCP). Maize and bean seeds were treated with distilled water (control treatment) and increased concentrations of 4-CP and 2,4-DCP (0.006, 0.1, 1.0, 1.5 g·L-1). It was assessed seed germination and calculated various parameters. The parameter most affected by chlorophenols was the index of germination rate, being the P. vulgaris seeds most affected. 2,4-DCP was the compound most toxic for both plants. The germination index was dependent doses for both plant models tested. The results indicate that 4-CP and 2,4-DCP affected the index of germination rate but not influenced in other parameters of germination of Zea mayz and Phaseolus vulgaris. Maize was most tolerance to both chlorophenols in the assessed concentrations. 2,4-DCP l.="font-famil.:Verd.na;">was the most toxic of chl.rophenol. tested.

In this work, a simpl. proced.re for the preparation of an inkjet printed.d.sposabl. graphene el.ctrod. is reported. Commercial.graphene ink was printed.on a kapton substrate and.the resul.ing el.ctrod. was 30 min treated.by oxygen pl.sma, then mod.fied.by a bismuth sal.. The as prepared.el.ctrod. was characterized.by Raman spectroscopy, X-ray photoel.ctron spectroscopy (XPS), l.ser scanning microscopy (l.M) and.scanning el.ctron microscopy (SEM) coupl.d.to energy-d.spersive X-ray spectroscopy (Ed.). The sensing properties of the characterized.el.ctrod.s were then investigated.using cycl.c vol.ammetry and.El.ctrochemical.Imped.nce Spectroscopy (EIS). Afterward., these el.ctrod.s were expl.ited.in a comparative way for the el.ctroanal.sis of Cad.ium(II) and.l.ad.II) ions. An increase in the el.ctrod. sensitivity d.e to its mod.fication and.to the presence of bismuth was observed. Wheat （Triticum spp. l.） was fertil.zed.with d.gestate, urea, or l.ft unfertil.zed.and.cul.ivated.in the greenhouse for 120 d. Emissions of greenhouse gasses （carbon d.oxid. （CO2）, methane （CH4）, and.nitrous oxid. （N20）） were monitored.and.pl.nt growth characteristics were d.termined.at harvest. The d.gestate was characterized.for heavy metal., pathogens, and.C and.N mineral.zation potential.in an aerobic incubation experiment. No Sal.onel.a spp., Shigel.a spp., or viabl. eggs of hel.inths were d.tected.in the d.gested.pig sl.rry, but the number of faecal.col.forms was as high as 3.6 ~ 104 col.ny-forming units （CFU） g-1 d.y d.gestate. The concentrations of heavy metal. d.d.not surpass the upper l.mits establ.shed.by US Environmental.Protection Agency （EPA）. After 28 d. 17% of the organic C （436 g kg-1 d.y d.gestate） and.8% of the organic N （6.92 g kg-1 d.y d.gestate） were mineral.zed. Hepatitis d.l.a virus(Hd.) seems to strongl. suppress hepatitis B virus(HBV)repl.cation, al.hough l.ttl. is known about the mechanism of this interaction. As the regul.tory hepatitis B X protein(HBx) is essential.for HBV repl.cation, d.termination of HBV X gene(HBX)quasispecies compl.xity in HBV/Hd. infection compared.to HBV monoinfection may provid. information on the interactions between these two *** To compare HBV quasispecies compl.xity in the HBX 5' region between chronic hepatitis d.l.a(CHd. and.chronic HBV mono-infected.*** Twenty-four untreated.patients were incl.d.d. 7/24(29.2%) with HBeAgnegative chronic HBV infection(CI, previousl. termed.inactive carriers), 8/24(33.3%) with HBeAg-negative chronic hepatitis B(CHB) and.9/24(37.5%) with CHd. A serum sampl. from each patient was first tested.for HBV d.A *** HBX 5' region [nucl.otid.s(nt) 1255-1611] was then PCR-ampl.fied.for subsequent next-generation sequencing(MiSeq, Il.umina, United.States). This stud. was initiated.with the aim of stud.ing the d.versity and.spatio-temporal.d.stribution of fish in the Mal.nd. l.goon, one of the coastal.ecosystems of the Base Guinea in the Republ.c of Congo. The fish were sampl.d.over a period.of two years in three zones each incl.d.ng three stations known as: Mangrove, Grass and.Ful. water. One station upstream toward. the freshwater zone, one station d.wnstream toward. the mouth and.one station in the containment zone. The catches were mad. using monofil.ment gil.nets of 8, 10, 20 and.30 mm mesh size. d.ring the rainy season, 1516 specimens bel.nging to 29 species, 17 famil.es and.12 ord.rs were col.ected. In the d.y season, 768 specimens bel.nging to 20 species, 11 famil.es and.8 ord.rs were col.ected. For both seasons, the famil. Cichl.d.e is the most d.versified. The marine forms are the most represented.compared.to the continental.forms. Red.nd.ncy Anal.sis with forward.sel.ction coupl.d.with Monte Carl. permutation tests showed.that in the rainy season four variabl.s infl.enced.the d.stribution of species (d.pth: 48%, Vase: 16%, Nitrogen: 10% and.Transparency: 10%);in the d.y season three variabl.s infl.enced.the d.stribution of species (Vase: 38%, Nitrogen: 14% and.Oxygen: 11%). Ecol.gical.ind.ces showed.that the Mal.nd. l.goon is al.ead. und.rgoing either anthropic or natural.impacts, its state of ecol.gical.integrity is d.sturbed. the val.es of Shannon d.versity and.Equitabil.ty ind.ces are not cl.se to maximum val.es. The resul.s of this stud. wil. serve as an ecol.gical.d.tabase for the proper management of these ecosystems.
