Fluorite Ce0.8Sm0.2O2-δ（SDC） nanopowder with a crystallite size of 15 nm was synthesized by a co-precipitation method. An SDC porous layer was coated onto a BaCo0.7Fe0.2Nb0.1O3-δ（BCFN） mixed conductor to improve its oxygen transport behavior. The results show that the SDC-coated BCFN membrane exhibits a remarkably higher oxygen permeation flux（JO2） than the uncoated BCFN in the partial oxidation of coke oven gas（COG）. The maximum JO2 value of the SDC-coated BCFN is 18.28 mL ·min^-1·cm^-2 under a COG/air flux of 177 mL ·min^-1/353 mL ·min^-1 at 875℃ when the thickness of the BCFN membrane is 1 mm; this JO2 value is 23% higher than that of the uncoated BCFN membrane. This enhancement is likely because of the higher oxygen ionic conductivity of SDC, which supplies oxygen vacancies and accelerates oxygen exchange on the membrane/coating layer/gas three-phase boundary.

A rate-dependent constitutive model for saturated frozen soil is vital in frozen soil mechanics,especially when simultaneously describing the nonlinearity,dilatancy and strain-softening *** distribution of the non-uniform strain rate of saturated frozen soil at the meso-scale due to the local icecementation breakage is described by a newly binary-medium-based homogenization *** on the field-equation-based approach of the meso-mechanics theory,the interaction expression of the strain rate at macro-and meso-scale is derived,which can give the strain rate concentration tensor at different crushed *** the thermodynamics and empirical assumption,a breakage ratio in the rate-dependent form is *** overcomes the limitations of the existing binary-medium-based models that are difficult to simulate rate-dependent mechanical *** on these assumptions,a newly binary-medium-based rate-dependent model is proposed considering both the ice bond breakage and material composition characteristics of saturated frozen *** proposed constitutive model has been validated by the test results on frozen soils with different temperatures and strain rates.

The new H.264 video coding standard achieves significantly higher compression performance than MPEG-2. As the MPEG-2 is popular in digital TV, DVD, etc., bandwidth or memory space can be saved by transcoding those streams into H.264 in these applications. Unfortunately, the huge complexity keeps transcoding from being widely used in practical applications. This paper proposes an efficient transcoding architecture with a smart downscaling decoder and a fast mode decision algorithm. Using the proposed architecture, huge buffering memory space is saved and the transcoding complexity is reduced. Performance of the proposed fast mode decision algorithm is validated by experiments.

AgCuTi-based composite fillers reinforced with Carbon Nanotubes(CNTs) were prepared by mechanical ball milling and ultrasonic agitation. The morphological features, chemical components, and melting characteristics of the composite fillers with different content of CNTs addition were investigated using Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy(FESEM), XRay Diffraction(XRD) and a Differential Scanning Calorimeter(DSC). After being heated at 900 ℃, the microstructure of the composite fillers was examined through FESEM and Transmission Electron Microscopy(TEM) to analyze the interfacial characteristics in the AgCuTi-CNTs *** microstructures of the composite fillers with 0.5 wt% CNTs and 0.1 wt% CNTs were compared. It was found that 0.5 wt% CNTs were favorable for dispersive distribution of the ***-sized TiC particles formed in the reaction of CNTs with Ti, resulting in the transformation of TiCu;with high Ti content and Ti;Cu;phases to TiCu;phase with low Ti content. Additionally,the microstructure evolution of the composite fillers was studied by changing the ratio of Ti/*** showed that CNTs significantly influenced the wettability of the AgCuTi filler. After addition of 0.3 wt% of CNTs, the spreading area of the composite filler on the C/C composite increased by 146.0%.

Rutin has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-viral, anti-tumor and immune regulatory effects. However, the neuroprotective effects of rutin in spinal cord injury are unknown. The p38 mitogen activated protein kinase （p38 MAPK） pathway is the most important member of the MAPK family that controls inflammation. We assumed that the mechanism of rutin in the repair of spinal cord injury is associated with the inhibition of p38 MAPK pathway. Allen’s method was used to establish a rat model of spinal cord injury. The rat model was intraperitoneally injected with rutin （30 mg/kg） for 3 days. After treatment with rutin, Basso, Beattie and Bresnahan locomotor function scores increased. Water content, tumor necrosis factor alpha, interleukin 1 beta, and interleukin 6 levels, p38 MAPK protein expression and caspase-3 and -9 activities in T8–9 spinal cord decreased. Oxidative stress related markers superoxide dismutase and glutathione peroxidase levels increased in peripheral blood. Rutin exerts neuroprotective effect through anti-oxidation, anti-inflammation, anti-apoptosis and inhibition of p38 MAPK pathway.

The occurrence of earthquakes is closely related to the crustal geotectonic movement and the migration of mass,which consequently cause changes in *** Gravity Recovery And Climate Experiment(GRACE)satellite data can be used to detect gravity changes associated with large ***,previous GRACE satellite-based seismic gravity-change studies have focused more on coseismic gravity changes than on preseismic gravity ***,the noise of the north–south stripe in GRACE data is difficult to eliminate,thereby resulting in the loss of some gravity information related to tectonic *** explore the preseismic gravity anomalies in a more refined way,we first propose a method of characterizing gravity variation based on the maximum shear strain of gravity,inspired by the concept of crustal *** offset index method is then adopted to describe the gravity anomalies,and the spatial and temporal characteristics of gravity anomalies before earthquakes are analyzed at the scales of the fault zone and plate,*** this work,experiments are carried out on the Tibetan Plateau and its surrounding areas,and the following findings are obtained:First,from the observation scale of the fault zone,we detect the occurrence of large-area gravity anomalies near the epicenter,oftentimes about half a year before an earthquake,and these anomalies were distributed along the fault ***,from the observation scale of the plate,we find that when an earthquake occurred on the Tibetan Plateau,a large number of gravity anomalies also occurred at the boundary of the Tibetan Plateau and the Indian ***,the aforementioned experiments confirm that the proposed method can successfully capture the preseismic gravity anomalies of large earthquakes with a magnitude of less than 8,which suggests a new idea for the application of gravity satellite data to earthquake research.

The hot ductility of a Fe-0.3C-9Mn-2Al medium Mn steel was investigated using a Gleeble3800 thermo-mechanical *** tensile tests were conducted at different temperatures(600-1300℃)under a constant strain rate of 4×10^(−3)s^(−1).The fracture behavior and mechanism of hot ductility evolution were *** showed that the hot ductility decreased as the temperature was decreased from 1000℃.The reduction of area(RA)decreased rapidly in the specimens tested below 700℃,whereas that in the specimen tested at 650℃was lower than 65%.Mixed brittle-ductile fracture feature is reflected by the coexistence of cleavage step,intergranular facet,and dimple at the *** fracture belonged to ductile failure in the specimens tested between 720-1000℃.Large and deep dimples could delay crack *** change in average width of the dimples was in positive proportion with the change in *** wide austenite-ferrite intercritical temperature range was crucial for the hot ductility of medium Mn *** formation of ferrite film on austenite grain boundaries led to strain *** point elongation occurred at the austenite-ferrite intercritical temperature range during the hot tensile test.

Due to unique features, Storage class memory(SCM) technologies such as Phase change memory(PCM) open up new opportunities for architect *** such a scenario, we present a true PCM storage system with an FPGA storage controller to explore ISP *** contributions are summarized as follows.1) Propose a heterogeneous ISP architecture which uses FPGA working as storage controller and accelerator;2) Offer a new research direction for designing storage devices which inherently support ISP; 3) Present a novel storage system which eliminate data transfer; 4) The first evaluation of ISP on a real SCM device; 5) Demonstrate significant performance gains by using efficient data flow and consuming extremely small amounts of host ***, the proposed system can be extended to handle other kinds of data applications by adding corresponding accelerator and data conversion module in *** system can be realized for more aggressive results.
