Investigating the impact of atmospheric parameters on sea ice variability in and around Svalbard

Recent research has shown that winter warmings are phenomenally high compared to summer warmings over the poles,especially over the *** the current scenario into account,this paper attempts to understand the atmospheric variables causing sea ice variability over and around the region of Svalbard for seasons;winter,spring,summer and autumn for the span of 42 years(1979-2021).The variability in atmospheric and oceanic parameters namely temperature,precipitation,wind speed,and sea surface salinity are analysed over inter-spatial,inter-seasonal and inter-annual *** are characterized by inter-annual increasing trend in *** 1981-1990 the rise from the decadal mean is found to be 0.39 K·a^(-1),during 1991-2000 it is 0.20 K·a^(-1),during 2001-2010 it is 0.04 K·a^(-1) and during 2011-2020 it is 0.23 K·a^(-1).Interestingly while considering inter-spatial domains,the region southwest to Svalbard seems to be wetter(0.05 mm·(10 a)-1)compared to its northeast(-0.03 mm·(10 a)-1).Across all the three domains,wind speeds are highest during autumn and then decrease subsequently through summer,spring and are least during *** is predominantly from the south,and hence it is suspected to carry hot Atlantic ***,the significant role of salinity in the ocean also plays a key role in governing the fate of sea ice *** long-term forecasts of temperature over seaice of Svalbard are alarming especially for the winter ice(r=-0.84).Correlation matrices between atmospheric and sea ice parameters are shown to gain a better understanding on their inter relation.

Japanese Encephalitis(JE)is a zoonotic mosquito-borne viral disease that primarily affects young children under the age of 15[1].Annually,there are more than 50000 clinical cases and JE causes over 10000 fatalities globally[1].In Japan,South Korea,China and Thailand,where it is now under control or almost entirely eradicated,the disease was initially noted to have a high incidence[1].Later,it expanded to Nepal and India,becoming a serious public health issue in rural regions[1].JE is a flavivirus-based neglected tropical disease that is spread by culicine mosquitoes of the Culex(Cx.)tritaeniorhynchus and *** species[2].

Artificial Neural Network Modeling for Sorption of Cadmium from Aqueous System by Shelled Moringa Oleifera Seed Powder as an Agricultural Waste

A two-layer Artificial Neural Network (ANN) model was developed to predict the removal efficiency of Cd(II) ions from aqueous solution using shelled Moringa Oleifera seed (SMOS) powder. Batch experiments re-sulted into standardization of optimum conditions: biomass dosage (4.0 g), Cd(II) concentration (25 mg/L) volume (200 mL) at pH 6.5. A time of forty minutes was found sufficient to achieve the equilibrium. The ANN model was designed to predict sorption efficiency of SMOS for target metal ion by combining back propagation (BP) with principle component analysis. A sigmoid axon was used as transfer function for input and output layer. The Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm (LMA) was applied, giving a minimum mean squared error (MSE) for training and cross validation at the ninth place of decimal.

Microsponge based drug delivery system for augmented gastroparesis therapy:Formulation development and evaluation

The intention behind the present work was to develop a microsponge based novel dosage form for sustained delivery of ***-emulsion solvent diffusion method was employed using Eudragit RS-100 with various drug-polymer ratios for the preparation of *** optimization purposes,several factors which affect microparticles’physical properties were *** techniques followed for the formed microsponges were DSC,FTIR,SEM,XRD and particle size analysis,along with morphology,drug loading and in vitro drug *** was found that there were no chemical interactions between drugs and polymers used as per DSC and FTIR *** drug-polymer ratio showed remarkable impact on drug content,encapsulation efficiency and particle *** micrographs revealed that microsponges were spherical in shape with porous surface,and had 104±0.22μm mean particle *** microsponges were then loaded in capsules followed by in vitro drug release study;which depicted that microsponges with drug-polymer ratio of 1:2 were more proficient to give extended drug release of 76.38%at the end of 8 h,superior in contrast to conventional marketed formulation Domstal®,which got exhausted incredibly earlier by releasing 82.57%drug at the end of 1⁄2 h ***,the developed microsponge based formulation of domperidone would be an expectant,promising substitute to conventional therapy of gastroparesis,emesis and alike gastric ailments.
