The deterioration of environmental conditions is the major contributory factor to poor health and quality of life that hinders sustainable development in any *** mining is one of the major industries that contribute to the economy of a country but it also impacts the *** chemical parameters of the coal,overburden,soil and sediments along with the coal mine drainage(CMD)were investigated in order to understand the overall environmental impact from high sulphur coal mining at northeastern coalfield(India).It was found that the total sulphur content of the coal is noticeably high compared to the overburden(OB)and *** volatile matter of the coal is sufficiently high against the high ash content of the soil and *** water samples have a High Electrical Conductivity(EC)and high Total Dissolve Solid(TDS).Lower values of pH,indicate the dissolution of minerals present in the coal as well as other minerals in the mine rejects/*** chemical and nano-mineralogical composition of coal,soil and overburden samples was studied using a High Resolution-Transmission Electron Microscopy(HR-TEM),Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy(EDS),Selected-Area Diffraction(SAED),Field Emission-Scanning Electron Microscopy(FE-SEM)/EDS,X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy(FTIR),Raman and Ion-Chromatographic analysis,and Mossbauer *** different geochemical analysis it has been found that the mine water sample from Ledo colliery has the lowest pH value of 3.30,Tirap colliery samples have the highest electrical conductivity value of5.40 ms cm^(-1)Both Ledo and Tirap coals have total sulphur contents within the range 3-3.50%.The coal mine water from Tirap colliery(TW-15 B)has high values of Mg^(2+)(450 ppm),and Br^-(227.17 ppm).XRD analysis revealed the presence of minerals including quartz and hematite in the *** analysis of coal mine overburden(OB)indicates the presence both of pyrite and marcasite which was also

dear editor,It is with great interest that we read the article“Relationship of calcitonin gene-related peptide with disease progression and prognosis of patients with severe traumatic brain injury”(Chen et al.,2018).In this study,the authors evaluated 121 patients who were divided into mild/moderate traumatic brain injury(TBI)(n=61),severe TBI(n=35)and control(n=25)groups,and measured serum levels of calcitonin gene-related peptide(CGRP)and serum endothelin-1(ET-1).They found that low levels of CGRP and high levels of ET-1 were associated with high mortality at 6 *** of morphological abnormalities on CT scans is very important for evaluating patients with TBI because different diagnoses are made based on different imaging findings(Maas et al.,2005).

Air pollution has become a major problem in urban areas due to increasing industrialization and *** this study ambient concentrations of PM1 and metal concentrations as well as source contributions were identified and quantified by using Positive Matrix Factorization(PMF)in receptor modeling in the Metropolitan Area of Porto Alegre,*** PM1 samples were collected on PTFE filters from december 2012 to december 2014 in two sampling *** ion and trace element concentrations were *** average concentrations were 12.8 and 15.2μg/m^(3) for Canoas and Sapucaia do Sul sites,*** ion contributions of PM1 were secondary pollutants such as sulfate and *** elements,especially Cu,Pb,Zn,Cd,and Ni also made important contributions which are directly associated with anthropogenic *** results show significantly higher levels in winter than in *** of the PM1 and the analyzed PM species and elements originated from anthropogenic sources,especially road traffic,combustion processes and industrial activities,which are grouped in 7 major contributing sources.A back-trajectory analysis showed that the long-range transport of pollutants was not relevant in relation to the contribution to PM1 and metal *** work highlights the importance of urban planning to reduce human health exposure to traffic and industrial emissions,combined with awareness-raising actions for citizens concerning the impact of indoor sources.

The Systemic Arterial Hypertension (SAH) stands out among the chronic non-transmissible pathologies that impact the cause and/or aggravation of cardiovascular diseases (CVD) on a global level, as the disease is an underestimated disorder due to non-perceptive symptoms and associated with factors and risk markers of another CVD. Therefore, establishing the risk of progression and aggravation of the SAH, according the Framingham Risk Score (FRS), allows to reducing morbidity and improving preventative measures for DCVs. This observational and transversal study approaches the data collection of patient records at the Health Family Strategy of Senhor do Bonfim, BA, which established differences by descriptive and inferential statistical analysis (correlation and regression). The aspects of hypertension associated with risk factors for atherosclerosis were analyzed, determining the risk of developing cardiovascular events in 10 years by FRS. From 432 families, 746 patients were selected, of which 340 are hypertensive individuals (SAH = 45.57%) and 406 (NSAH = 54.42%) non-hypertensives. Among the SAH the majority (31.17%) was in the age range of 63 - 77, but, in both groups, women were in stronger number. There was greater prevalence in SAH for all the characteristics analyzed, smoking (13.20%), sedentary (29.41%) and cardiovascular accident (22.60%). The SAH group is more susceptive to the CVD progress in 10 years by FRS (P despite the correlations have been significant too, the regression analysis revealed that only Total Cholesterol (P = 0.0086);LDL (P < 0.0001), Glucose (P < 0.0006) and Age (P < 0.0001) have significative association with FRS. Since neodymium magnet possesses an extremely strong magnetic field, resulting from the combination of neodymium, iron and boron, it has become the most used in designing autonomous sumo robots. When it is mounted under the structure of this robot, the magnet produces a large amount of normal force resulting from the interaction between its field lines and the steel frame of the arena, reducing the risk of slipping its wheels. Thus, the heavier a robot, the greater the difficulty for the opponent to remove it from the arena. This article explains the properties of Nd-Fe-Br magnets and analyzes the influence of these characteristics in the relation induction/weight. Additionally, to a comparative analysis, this research analyzes the positioning, geometry and polarization of the magnets under study, based on numerical results obtained using Inventor and K ＆ J Magnets Calculator software, given that these factors influence in their energetic product generation. Furthermore, more than just working with what we believe is a subject of great interest for sumo robot＇s teams, this study encourages their competitiveness, an essential factor for the competition.

Having a better understanding of air pollutants in railway systems is crucial to ensure a clean public *** study measured,for the first time in Brazil,nanoparticles(NPs)and black carbon(BC)on two groundlevel platforms and inside trains of the Metropolitan Area of Porto Alegre(MAPA).An intense sampling campaign during thirteen consecutive months was carried out and the chemical composition of NPs was examined by advanced microscopy *** results showed that highest concentrations of the pollutants occur in colder seasons and influenced by variables such as frequency of the trains and passenger ***,internal and external sources of pollution at the stations were *** predominance of NPs enriched with metals that increase oxidative stress like Cd,Fe,Pb,Cr,Zn,Ni,V,Hg,Sn,and Ba both on the platforms and inside trains,including Fe-minerals as hematite and magnetite,represents a critical risk to the health of passengers and employees of the *** interdisciplinary and multi-analytical study aims to provide an improved understanding of reported adverse health effects induced by railway system aerosols.

Intracranial arterial occlusion is rarely encountered in association with head *** six cases of traumatic occlusion of the anterior cerebral artery(ACA) have previously been *** this paper,the authors describe a case of a posttraumatic occlusion of ACA.A 35-year-old male presented to the emergency room with severe head *** tomography(CT) scan displayed diffuse brain swelling with multiple skull *** up CT scan showed extensive cerebral infarction in the territory of *** patient underwent CT angiography that demonstrated occlusion of the ACA by a fracture of the anterior *** died after 3 *** traumatic occlusion is a rare condition,with poor *** this case,fracture was responsible for dissection and direct obstruction of the artery.
