目的:研究损伤严重程度感知(ISP)评分法在测试急性挥鞭样损伤患者中的复测可重复性。方法:在基层保健中心连续对急性阶段患急性挥鞭样损伤患者采用ISP评分。ISP是一种通过数字等级进行评分,其测量范围从0到10,受试者被要求指出他们自认为的受伤严重程度。0代表'无损伤',10代表'严重且永久性损伤'。利用ISP问卷对同一批受试者在招募完成时及7天后进行评分。复测可重复性由一致百分率和在两个时间点进行的Kappa分析进行计算。锚定两端分别标记为'没有损伤'(0)和'严重损伤,可能是永久性损伤'(10)。结果:实验包括94名研究对象(34名男性,60名女性,平均年龄为40.6±10.0岁,范围19-60岁),在刚招募时JSP平均得分为4.9±1.7(评分在2-9之间),一周后ISP平均得分为5.1±2.1(评分在2-9之间)。在ISP的两次重复测量中百分比一致率为86%,Kappa系数为0.79。结论:这项研究表明ISP复测可重复性在预后研究中偏倚风险较低。ISP评分法在急性挥鞭样损伤患者的流行病学研究中具有相当高的可靠性。

tracking mobile nodes in dynamic and noisy conditions of industrial environments has provided a paradigm for many issues inherent in the area of distributed control systems in general and wireless sensor networks in particular. Due to the dynamic nature of the industrial environments, a practical tracking system is required that is adaptable to the changes in the environment. More specifically, given the limited resources of wireless nodes and the challenges created by harsh industrial environments there is a need for a technique that can modify the configuration of the system on the fly as new wireless nodes are added to the network and obsolete ones are removed. to address these issues, two cluster-based tracking systems, one static and the other dynamic, are proposed to organize the overall network field into a set of tracking zones, each composed of a sink node and a set of corresponding anchor nodes. to manage the wireless nodes activities and inter and intra cluster communications, an agent-based technique is employed. to compare the architectures, we report on a set of experiments performed in JADE （Java Agent Development Environment）. In these experiments, we compare two agent-based approaches （dynamic and static） for managing clusters of wireless sensor nodes in a distributed tracking system. the experimental results corroborate the efficiency of the static clusters versus the robustness and effectiveness of the dynamic clusters.

Background： Synthetic microbial consortia are conglomerations of genetically engineered microbes programmed to cooperatively bring about population-level phenotypes. By coordinating their activity, the constituent strains can display emergent behaviors that are difficult to engineer into isogenic populations. to do so, strains are engineered to communicate with one another through intercellular signaling pathways that depend on cell density. Methods： Here, we used computational modeling to examine how the behavior of synthetic microbial consortia results from the interplay between population dynamics governed by cell growth and internal transcriptional dynamics governed by cell-ceil signaling. Specifically, we examined a synthetic microbial consortium in which two strains each produce signals that down-regulate transcription in the other. Within a single strain this regulatory topology is called a ＂co-repressive toggle switch＂ and can lead to bistability. Results： We found that in co-repressive synthetic microbial consortia the existence and stability of different states depend on population-level dynamics. As the two strains passively compete for space within the colony, their relative fractions fluctuate and thus alter the strengths of intercellular signals. these fluctuations drive the consortium to alternative equilibria. Additionally, if the growth rates of the strains depend on their transcriptional states, an additional feedback loop is created that can generate oscillations. Conclusions： Our findings demonstrate that the dynamics of microbial consortia cannot be predicted from their regulatory topologies alone, but are also determined by interactions between the strains. therefore, when designing synthetic microbial consortia that use intercellular signaling, one must account for growth variations caused by the production of protein.

Objective:to assess the correlation between expectations of recovery and whiplash patients' perceptions of injury severity using a simplified *** of recovery have been shown to predict rate of recovery from whiplash injury in population-based *** perception of having more severe pathology or more ominous diagnostic labels has also been associated with a worse ***:Consecutive patients with whiplash-associated disorder grade 1 or 2,presenting in the acute stage to a primary care centre,were asked "do you think that your injury will…" with response options "get better soon;get better slowly;never get better;don't know." Injury severity perception (ISP) was measured with a numerical rating scale which ranged from 0-10,on which subjects were asked to rate how severe (in terms of damage) they thought their injury *** anchors were labeled "no damage" (0) and "severe,and maybe permanent damage" (10).the primary outcome measure was the correlation between the subject's ISP score and expectation of ***:A total of 94 subjects (34 males,60 females,and mean age (40.6±10.0) years,range 19-60 years) were *** initial responses to expectation of recovery were:get better soon (29/94);get better slowly (22/94);never get better (11/94);don't know (32/94).the mean ISP score was 4.9±1.7 (range 2-9 out of 10).there was a high correlation between expectations and ISP scores (Spearman's rank correlation coefficient 0.68).those who expected to recover soon and those who expected to get better slowly had the lowest ISP ***:the more slowly whiplash patients expect to recover,or the less sure they are of recovery,the more severe their initial perceptions of injury.

Androgen deprivation in men leads to increased adiposity, but the mechanisms underlying androgen regulation of fat mass have not been fully defined. Androgen receptor （AR） is expressed in monocytes/macrophages, which are resident in key metabolic tissues and influence energy metabolism in surrounding cells. Male mice bearing a cell-specific knockout of the AR in monocytes/macrophages （M-ARKO） were generated to determine whether selective loss of androgen signaling in these cells would lead to altered body composition. Wild-type （Wt） and M-ARKO mice （12-22 weeks of age, n = 12 per group） were maintained on a regular chow diet for 8 weeks and then switched to a high-fat diet for 8 additional weeks. At baseline and on both the regular chow and high-fat diets, no differences in lean mass or fat mass were observed between groups. Consistent with the absence of differential body weight or adiposity, no differences in food intake （3.0 ± 0.5 g per day for Wt mice vs 2.8 ± 0.4 g per day for M-ARKO mice） or total energy expenditure （0.6 ± 0.1 Kcal h-1 for Wt mice vs 0.5 ± 0.1 Kcal h-1 for M-ARKO mice） were evident between groups during high-fat feeding. Liver weight was greater in M-ARKO than that in Wt mice （1.5 ± 0.1 g vs 1.3 ± 0.0 g, respectively, P = 0.02）. Finally, M-ARKO mice did not exhibit impairments in glucose tolerance or insulin sensitivity relative to Wt mice at any study time point. In aggregate, these findings suggest that AR signaling specifically in monocytes/macrophages does not contribute to the regulation of systemic energy balance, adiposity, or insulin sensitivity in male mice.
