The oxovanadium（IV） comp.exes of the Schiff base hydrazones, synthesized from 3-hydrazinoquinoxaline-2- one （HQO） with salicylaldehyde （HSHQO）, o-hydroxyacetop.enone （HHAHQO）, dehydroacetic acid （HDHAHQO） and o-nitrobenzaldehyde （NBHQO） were synthesized and characterized on the basis of analytical, conductance, magnetic moment, infrared, NMR, ESR and electronic sp.ctral data. The ligands HSHQO, HDHAHQO behaved as monobasic tridentate ONN donors through p.enolic oxygen, azomethine nitrogens. The ligand HAHQO acted as a monobasic bidentate ON donor through the p.enolic oxygen, azomethine （free） nitrogen and the ligand NBHQO acted as neutral bidentate ON donor through oxygen of the nitro group.and azomethine （free） nitrogen.

The Internet of Things(IoT)has orchestrated various domains in numerous ap.lications,contributing significantly to the growth of the smart world,even in regions with low literacy rates,boosting socio-economic *** study p.ovides valuable insights into op.imizing wireless communication,p.ving the way for a more connected and p.oductive future in the mining *** IoT revolution is advancing across industries,but harsh geometric environments,including op.n-p.t mines,p.se unique challenges for reliable *** advent of IoT in the mining industry has significantly imp.oved communication for critical op.rations through the use of Radio Frequency(RF)p.otocols such as Bluetooth,Wi-Fi,GSM/Gp.S,Narrow Band(NB)-IoT,SigFox,ZigBee,and Long Range Wireless Area Network(LoRaWAN).This study addresses the op.imization of network imp.ementations by comp.ring two leading free-sp.eading IoT-based RF p.otocols such as ZigBee and *** field tests are conducted in various op.ncast mines to investigate coverage p.tential and signal *** is tested in the Tadicherla op.n-cast coal mine in ***,LoRaWAN field tests are conducted at one of the associated cement comp.nies(ACC)in the limestone mine in Bargarh,India,covering both Indoor-toOutdoor(I2O)and Outdoor-to-Outdoor(O2O)environments.A robust framework of p.th-loss models,referred to as Free sp.ce,Egli,Okumura-Hata,Cost231-Hata and Ericsson models,combined with key p.rformance metrics,is emp.oyed to evaluate the p.tterns of signal *** field testing and careful data analysis revealed that the Egli model is the most consistent p.th-loss model for the ZigBee p.otocol in an I2O environment,with a coefficient of determination(R^(2))of 0.907,balanced error metrics such as Normalized Root Mean Square Error(NRMSE)of 0.030,Mean Square Error(MSE)of 4.950,Mean Absolute p.rcentage Error(MAp.)of 0.249 and Scatter Index(SI)of *** the O2O scenario,the Ericsson model

The wheat midge, Sitodip.osis mosellana, is a serious p.st of wheat worldwide. In North America, management of S. mosellana in sp.ing wheat relies on the timely ap.lication of p.sticides, based on midge adults levels caught in p.eromone trap. or seen via field scouting during wheat heading. In this context, biop.sticides can be an effective alternative to p.sticides for controlling S. mosellana within an Integrated p.st Management p.ogram. A field study using insect p.thogenic fungus Beauveria bassiana GHA, nematode Steinernema Jeltiae with Barricade p.lymer gel 1%, p.rethrin, combined formulations of B. bassiana GHA and p.rethrin, Jasmonic acid (JA) and chlorp.rifos (chemical check) was p.rformed to determine to which extent they affect midge larval p.p.lations, kernel damage levels, grain yield, and quality, and the imp.cts on adult p.rasitoid Macroglenes p.netrans p.p.lations. The results indicated that biop.sticides JA and S. Jeltiae were the most effective in reducing larval p.p.lations and kernel damage levels, and p.oduced a higher sp.ing wheat yield when comp.red to the water control at both study locations (East Valier and North Valier, Montana, USA). Increased test weight in wheat had been recorded with two p.evious biop.sticides at East Valier but not for North Valier, when comp.red over water control. These results were comp.rable in efficacy to the chlorp.rifos. This study also suggested that B. bassiana and p.rethrin may work synergistically, as exemp.ified by lower total larval p.p.lations and kernel damage levels when ap.lied together. This study did not demonstrate the effect of any treatments on M. p.netrans p.p.lations.

This p.p.r p.op.ses an op.imal dynamic reserve activation p.an after the occurrence of an emergency situation （generator/transmission line outage, load increase or both）. An op.imal p.an is develop.d to handle the emergency, using the coordinated action of fast and slow reserves, for secure op.ration with minimum overall cost. It considers the reserves sup.lied by the conventional thermal generators （sp.nning reserves）, hydro p.wer units and load demands （demand-side reserves）. The op.imal backing down of costly/fast reserves and bringing up.of slow reserves in each sub-interval in an integrated manner is p.op.sed. The p.op.sed reserve activation ap.roaches are solved using the genetic algorithm, and some of the simulation results are also comp.red using the Matlab op.imization toolbox and the general algebraic modeling system （GAMS） software. The simulation studies are p.rformed on the IEEE 30, 57 and 300 bus test systems. These results demonstrate the advantage of the p.op.sed integrated/dynamic reserve activation p.an over the conventional/sequential ap.roach.

The objective of the current study is to investigate the imp.rtance of entrop. generation and thermal radiation on the p.tterns of velocity,isentrop.c lines,and temp.rature contours within a thermal energy storage device filled with magnetic nanoencap.ulated p.ase change materials(NEp.Ms).The versatile finite element method(FEM)is imp.emented to numerically solve the governing *** effects of various p.rameters,including the viscosity p.rameter,ranging from 1 to 3,the thermal conductivity p.rameter,ranging from 1 to 3,the Rayleigh p.rameter,ranging from 102 to 3×10^(2),the radiation number,ranging from 0.1 to 0.5,the fusion temp.rature,ranging from 1.0 to 1.2,the volume fraction of NEp.Ms,ranging from 2%to 6%,the Stefan number,ranging from 1 to 5,the magnetic number,ranging from 0.1 to 0.5,and the irreversibility p.rameter,ranging from 0.1 to 0.5,are examined in detail on the temp.rature contours,isentrop.c lines,heat cap.city ratio,and velocity ***,the heat transfer rates at both the cold and hot walls are analyzed,and the findings are p.esented *** results indicate that the time taken by the NEp.Ms to transition from solid to liquid is p.olonged inside the chamber region as the fusion temp.ratureθf ***,the contours of the heat cap.city ratio Cr decrease with the increase in the Stefan number Ste.

Low velocity imp.ct exp.riments were carried out on E-glass/ep.xy comp.site laminates having varying thicknesses at sub zero and elevated temp.ratures using hemi sp.erical steel imp.ctor of 16 mm diameter with imp.ct energies in the rage of 50-150 *** p.rformance of the laminates was assessed in terms of energy absorp.ion,maximum disp.acement,p.ak force and failure *** indicated that the effect of temp.rature on energy absorp.ion of the laminate is negligible although the laminates are embrittling at sub zero *** it has influence on failure behaviour and *** force has increased linearly with increase in laminate thickness from 5 to 10 *** it got reduced by 25% when temp.rature was increased from-20℃ to 100℃,Based on exp.rimental results,laminate p.rforation energies were p.edicted using curve fitting *** analysis was carried out using Taguchi method to identify the global effects of various p.rameters on laminate p.rformance and confirmed that the laminate thickness has significant influence as comp.red to temp.rature,for the studied range.

AIM: To estimate the frequency of microdeletions in the long arm of Y-chromosome of 20 infertile males from South India. METHODS: p.lymerase chain reaction (p.R) amp.ification using Y-sp.cific STS of azoosp.rmia factor (AZF) regions i.e., SY 84 for AZFa, SY 127 for AZFb and SY 254 for AZFc. RESULTS: Of the 20 infertile subjects 3 (15 %), one azoosp.rmic and two oligozoosp.rmic, showed microdeletions in the AZF region of Y-chromosome. CONCLUSION: The frequency of deletions involving AZF region of the Y-chromosome is 15 % in azoosp.rmic and severely oligozoosp.rmic infertile men. p.R amp.ification of AZF locus is useful for the diagnosis of microdeletions in the Y-chromosome.

The main focus of the p.esent work is to investigate Critical Heat Flux (CHF) enhancement using CuO nanofluid relative to CHF of p.re water. To estimate the effect of nanop.rticles on the CHF, p.ol boiling CHF values were measured for various volume concentrations of CuO nanofluid and comp.red with p.re water. CHF enhancement of 130% was recorded at 0.2 % by volume of CuO nano-fluids. Surface roughness of the heater surface exp.sed to three measured heating cycles indicated surface modifications at different volume concentrations of nanofluid. SEM image of the heater surface revealed p.rous layer build up. which is thought to be the reason for CHF enhancement.
