Mshpy23:a user-friendly,parameterized model of magnetosheath conditions

Lunar Environment heliospheric X-ray Imager(LEXI)and Solar wind−Magnetosphere−Ionosphere Link Explorer(SMILE)will observe magnetosheath and its boundary motion in soft X-rays for understanding magnetopause reconnection modes under various solar wind conditions after their respective launches in 2024 and *** conditions,namely,plasma density,velocity,and temperature,are key parameters for predicting and analyzing soft X-ray images from the LEXI and SMILE *** developed a userfriendly model of magnetosheath that parameterizes number density,velocity,temperature,and magnetic field by utilizing the global Magnetohydrodynamics(MHD)model as well as the pre-existing gas-dynamic and analytic *** this parameterized magnetosheath model,scientists can easily reconstruct expected soft X-ray images and utilize them for analysis of observed images of LEXI and SMILE without simulating the complicated global magnetosphere ***,we created an MHD-based magnetosheath model by running a total of 14 OpenGGcM global MHD simulations under 7 solar wind densities(1,5,10,15,20,25,and 30 cm)and 2 interplanetary magnetic field Bz components(±4 nT),and then parameterizing the results in new magnetosheath *** compared the magnetosheath model result with THEMIS statistical data and it showed good agreement with a weighted Pearson correlation coefficient greater than 0.77,especially for plasma density and plasma ***,we compiled a suite of magnetosheath models incorporating previous magnetosheath models(gas-dynamic,analytic),and did two case studies to test the *** MHD-based model was comparable to or better than the previous models while providing self-consistency among the magnetosheath ***,we constructed a tool to calculate a soft X-ray image from any given vantage point,which can support the planning and data analysis of the aforementioned LEXI and SMILE missions.A release of the code has been uploaded to a Git

The Soft X-ray Imager(SXI)is part of the scientific payload of the Solar wind Magnetosphere Ionosphere Link Explorer(SMILE)*** is a joint science mission between the European Space Agency(ESA)and the chinese Academy of Sciences(cAS)and is due for launch in *** is a compact X-ray telescope with a wide field-of-view(FOV)capable of encompassing large portions of Earth’s magnetosphere from the vantage point of the SMILE *** is sensitive to the soft X-rays produced by the Solar Wind charge eXchange(SWcX)process produced when heavy ions of solar wind origin interact with neutral particles in Earth’s *** provides a mechanism for boundary detection within the magnetosphere,such as the position of Earth’s magnetopause,because the solar wind heavy ions have a very low density in regions of closed magnetic field *** sensitivity of the SXI is such that it can potentially track movements of the magnetopause on timescales of a few minutes and the orbit of SMILE will enable such movements to be tracked for segments lasting many *** is led by the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom(UK)with collaborating organisations on hardware,software and science support within the UK,Europe,china and the United States.

Long-read sequencing with nanopore technology has been widely utilized for the identification of the full-length sequence of rNA molecules."It is especially suitable for the identification of circular rNAs(circrNAs),which are regulatory molecules that are regarded as promising non-invasive biomarkers for various human malignancies,including breast cancer.2 The impact of circrNAs derived from the protein arginine methyltransferase 1(PrMT1)gene has not been clarified yet,even though the effect of PrMT1-mediated methylation on breast cancer cell characteristics has been well established.

疝修补术是一种常见手术,大多数医生认为这是一种小手术。但是有些医生却不这么认为。疝修补术的创造者是Bassini(1884),他发明了腹股沟疝的根治性治疗方法:切开腹股沟的三层,即腹内斜肌、腹横肌、腹横筋膜,进入了腹膜前间隙,以高位结扎疝囊和以上三层缝合至腹股沟韧带。这种手术方式只有2.7%的复发率,因此引起世界范围内的争相仿效。但同时问题也接踵而至,提睾肌仍然残留,没有切开的层面不缝合,没有重叠加强修补,采用提睾肌或腹直肌加强修补,使用筋膜瓣,减张切开。这种讹误使人们对Bassini的工作产生了怀疑。自1906年采用russsel(lLancet,1906,2:1197-1203.)的疝囊结扎手术直到1953年。此后Shoudice诊所使Bassini原则重新流行,并被奉为疝修补的金标准而历时数十年。cheatle引入了后路腹膜前疝修补术(BrMedJ,1920,2:68-69)。Acquaviva和Bourret设计了第一个植入假体(尼龙),后来被聚丙烯取代。这些贡献为rives、Stoppa、Wantz及Gilbert等后来者的修补方法,Ger的腹腔镜修补法以及一些不常见的疝修补术铺平了道路。chevrel(1979)创建了GrEPA,这就是后来的欧洲疝学会,后来又和美国疝学会一起创建了《Hernia》杂志。Nilsson(1993)制定了全国性疝登记制度,致力于更低的复发率和更好的前瞻性研究。在21世纪,Lichtenstein疝修补术逐渐占据主流地位。疝学者接受了系统性结缔组织疾病是腹部疝和盆底脱垂的原因。这种病因可以解释为什么植入物推迟了复发但并没有根除复发。更好的解决方法还有待研究和应用。

Soil Organic carbon Pools Under Switchgrass Grown as a Bioenergy crop compared to Other conventional crops

Switchgrass （Panicum virgaturn L.） has been proposed as a sustainable bioenergy crop because of its high yield potential, adap- tation to marginal sites, and tolerance to water and nutrient limitations. A better understanding of the potential effects of biomass energy crop production practices on soil biological properties and organic matter dynamics is critical to its production. Our objective was to evaluate changes in c pools under a warm-season perennial switchgrass in different soils compared to typically-grown crops col- lected at college Station, Dallas, and Stephenville, TX in February 2001. Sampling depths were 0-5, 5-15, and 15-30 cm. Switchgrass increased soil organic c （SOc）, soil microbial biomass c （SMBc）, mineralizable c, and particulate organic matter c （POM-c） com- pared to conventional cropping systems. Soil c concentrations were in the order： long-term coastal bermudagrass [cynodon dactylon （L.） Pers.] 〉 switchgrass or kleingrass （Panicum coloratura L.） planted in 1992 〉 switchgrass 1997 〉 conventional cropping systems. Soil c concentrations tended to increase with increasing clay content. Greater microbial biomass c followed the order of Dallas 〉 college Station 〉 Stephenville, and ranged from approximately 180 mg c kg-1 soil at Stephenville to 1 900 mg c kg-1 soil at Dallas. Particulate organic c was more sensitive than other fractions to management, increasing as much as 6-fold under long-term coastal bermudagrass compared to conventional cropping systems. Our study indicated that conversion of conventional cropping systems into switchgrass production can sequestrate more SOc and improve soil biological properties in the southern USA.

Mixed Wastes Vitrification by Transferred Plasma

Thermal plasma technology provides a stable and long term treatment of mixed wastes through vitrification processes. In this work, a transferred plasma system was realized to vitrify mixed wastes, taking advantage of its high power density, enthalpy and chemical reactivity as well as its rapid quenching and high operation temperatures. To characterize the plasma discharge, a temperature diagnostic is realized by means of optical emission spectroscopy （OES）. To typify the morphological structure of the wastes samples~ scan- ning electron microscopy （SEM）, and X-ray diffraction （XrD） techniques were applied before and after the plasma treatment.

Heat shock protein 90 inhibition by 17-DMAG lessens disease in the MrL/Ipr mouse model of systemic lupus erythematosus

Elevated expression of heat shock protein 90 （HSP90） has been found in kidneys and serum of systemic lupus erythematosus （SLE） patients and MrLIMp-FasIprIFasJpr（MrLIIpr） autoimmune mice. We investigated if inhibition of HSP90 would reduce disease in MrL/ Ipr mice. In vitro, pretreatment of mesangial cells with HSP90 inhibitor Geldanamycin prior to immune-stimulation showed reduced expression of IL-6, IL-12 and NO. In vivo, we found HSP90 expression was elevated in MrL/Ipr kidneys when compared to c57BL/6 mice and MrIJIpr mice treated with HSP90 inhibitor 17-DMAG. MrIJIpr mice treated with 17-DMAG showed decreased proteinuria and reduced serum anti-dsDNA antibody production. Glomerulonephritis and glomerular IgG and c3 were not significantly affected by administration of 17-DMAG in MrIJIpr. 17-DMAG increased cD8＋ T cells, reduced double-negative T cells, decreased the cD4/cD8 ratio and reduced follicular B cells. These studies suggest that HSP90 may play a role in regulating T-cell differentiation and activation and that HSP90 inhibition may reduce inflammation in lupus.

The identification of jets originating from quarks and gluons,often referred to as quark/gluon tagging,plays an important role in various analyses performed at the Large Hadron collider,as Standard Model measurements and searches for new particles decaying to quarks often rely on suppressing a large gluon-induced *** paper describes the measurement of the efficiencies of quark/gluon taggers developed within the ATLAS collaboration,using √s=13 TeV proton–proton collision data with an integrated luminosity of 140 fb^(-1) collected by the ATLAS *** taggers with high performances in rejecting jets from gluon over jets from quarks are studied:one tagger is based on requirements on the number of inner-detector tracks associated with the jet,and the other combines several jet substructure observables using a boosted decision tree.A method is established to determine the quark/gluon fraction in data,by using quark/gluon-enriched subsamples defined by the jet *** in tagging efficiency between data and simulation are provided for jets with transverse momentum between 500 GeV and 2 TeV and for multiple tagger working points.

Process Tolerant and Power Efficient SrAM cell for Internet of Things Applications

The use of Internet of Things(IoT)applications become dominant in many *** on-chip data processing and computations are also increasing *** battery enabled and low leakage memory system at subthreshold regime is a critical requirement for these IoT *** cache memory designed on Static random-Access Memory(SrAM)cell with features such as low power,high speed,and process tolerance are highly important for the IoT memory ***,a process tolerant SrAM cell with low power,improved delay and better stability is presented in this research *** proposed cell comprises 11 transistors designed with symmetric approach for write operations and single ended circuit for read operations that exhibits an average dynamic power saving of 43.55%and 47.75%for write and 35.59%and 36.56%for read operations compared to 6 T and 8 T SrAM *** cell shows an improved write delay of 26.46%and 37.16%over 6 T and 8T and read delay is lowered by 50.64%and 72.90%against 6 T and 10 T *** symmetric design used in core latch to improve the write noise margin(WNM)by 17.78%and 6.67%whereas the single ended separate read circuit improves the read Static Noise Margin(rSNM)by 1.88x and 0.33x compared to 6 T and 8T *** read power delay product and write power delay product are lower by 1.94x,1.39x and 0.17x,2.02x than 6 T and 8 T cells *** lower variability from 5000 samples validates the robustness of the proposed *** simulations are carried out in cadence virtuoso simulator tool with Generic Process Design Kit(GPDK)45 nm technology file in this work.
