Caffeine was applied as a green and natural catalyst for the one-pot,four-component sequential condensation between 2-hydroxy-1,4-naphthoquinone,aromatic 1,2-diamines,ammonium thiocyanate and acid chlorides in the presence of a basic ionic liquid（l-butyl-3-methylimidazolium hydroxide） to afford the corresponding benzo[a][1,3]oxazino[6,5-c]phenazine *** this one-pot transformation,five bonds and two new rings are efficiently *** protocol has the advantages of operational simplicity,high yields,easy workup,avoidance of hazardous or toxic catalysts and organic solvents and high chemo-and regioselectivities.

Mg and its alloys have been introduced as promising biodegradable materials for biomedical implant applications due to their excellent biocompatibility, mechanical behavior, and biodegradability. However, their susceptibility to rapid corrosion within the body poses a significant challenge and restricts their applications. To overcome this issue, various surface modification techniques have been developed to enhance the corrosion resistance and bioactivity of Mg-based implants. PEO is a potent technique for producing an oxide film on a surface that significantly minimizes the tendency to corrode. However, the inevitable defects due to discharges and poor biological activity during the coating process remain a concern. Therefore, adding suitable particles during the coating process is a suitable solution. Hydroxyapatite(HAp)has attracted much attention in the development of biomedical applications in the scientific community. HAp shows excellent biocompatibility due to its similarity in chemical composition to the mineral portion of bone. Therefore, its combination with Mg-based implants through PEO has shown significant improvements in their corrosion resistance and bioactivity. This review paper provides a comprehensive overview of the recent advances in the preparation, characterization, corrosion behavior and bioactivity applications of HAp particles on Mg-based implants by PEO.

In this experimental study,the turbulent flow in a channel with vegetation by using sprouts of wheat on channel bed was *** different aspect ratios of channel were *** Acoustic Doppler Velocimetry was used to measure parameters of turbulent flow over submerged sprouts of wheat,such as velocity *** log law and the Reynolds shear stress distribution were applied. Results indicate that the position of the maximum turbulence intensity superposes on the inflection point situated over the top of submerged vegetation *** analysis shows that near the vegetation bed,the sweeps and ejections appear to be the most dominant phenomenon,while far from the vegetated bed,the outward is dominant *** also show that the aspect ratio plays an important role on the contribution of the different bursting events for Reynolds stress determination.

Inflammation plays an important role in the development of several *** cytokines,including tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),are associated with the induction of *** inflammation contributes to the progression of cancer through several mechanisms,including increased cytokine production and activation of transcription factors,such as nuclear factor-κB(NF-κB).Zerumbone(ZER),a component of subtropical ginger(Zingiber zerumbet Smith),seems to have anti-inflammatory,anti-cancer,and antioxidant *** this study,we aimed to explore the protective function and mechanisms of ZER against TNF-α-induced cancer-promoting *** found that the viability of stimulated human fibroblast cell lines was reduced after treatment with ZER(IC50=18µmol/L),compared to un-stimulated fibroblasts(IC50=40µmol/L).Besides,ZER inhibited mRNA expression and protein secretion of transforming growth factor-β(TGF-β),interleukin-33(IL-33),monocyte chemoattractant protein-1(MCP-1),and stromal cell-derived factor 1(SDF-1),which were produced by TNF-α-induced fibroblasts,as measured by quantitative real time-PCR(qRT-PCR)and ELISA *** mRNA expression levels of TGF-β,IL-33,SDF-1,and MCP-1 showed 8,5,2.5,and 4-fold reductions,***,secretion of TGF-β,IL-33,SDF-1,and MCP-1 was reduced to 3.65±0.34 ng/mL,6.3±0.26,1703.6±295.2,and 5.02±0.18 pg/mL,respectively,compared to the untreated *** addition,the conditioned media(CM)of TNF-α-stimulated fibroblasts increased the NF-κB expression in colorectal cancer cell lines(HCT-116 and Sw48),while in the vicinity of ZER,the expression of NF-κB was *** the significant effects of ZER,this component can be used as an appropriate alternative herbal treatment for cancer-related chronic inflammation.

A convenient and facile one-pot synthesis of stable phosphorus ylides and 1,4-diionic organophosphorus compounds is reported by the reaction of triphenylphosphine, dialkylacetylenedicarboxylates and N-H, C-H or S-H acids in the presence of polyethyleneglycol （PEG）, β-cyclodextrin （β-CD）, glycerine （Gly） or ethyleneglycol （EG） in water. This methodology is of interest due to the use of water as a solvent, thus minimizing the cost operational hazards, and environmental pollution.

Aim:The differentiation capability of guanosine 5′-triphosphate（GTP）was stud-ied using U937 and KG1 ***:Cell cycle was analyzed by PI stainingusing flow *** was measured by Annexin-V-FITC/PI doublestaining using flow *** was observed by morphologicalcriteria,Wright-Giemsa staining and expression of cell surface markers CD 11b ***:Variable GTP concentrations（25-200 μmol/L）at short treatmenttimes（up to 24 h）showed significant anti-proliferative activities among both ***,longer treatment times（up to 72 h）were required to ***-cycle analyses of the GTP-treated cells indicated an increase in S-phase population by 48 h followed by the appearance of a sub-G1peak after 72hof *** effects of GTP on U937 and KG1 cells were accompanied withdifferentiation toward monocyte/macrophage *** was evidenced by asharp increase in the extent of CD 11b and CD 14 expression after 24 h of exposureto *** viability of both cell types did not significantly change during thefirst 24 ***,at longer treatment times（72-96 h）,dramatic decreases inboth the extent of CD14 expression and the cell viabilities were ***-taneous measurement of apoptosis and CD 14 expression in GTP-treated U937cells indicated that cells with lower CD14 content underwent more ***:These finding may pave the way for further pharmaceutical evalua-tion of GTP as a suitable differentiating agent for acute myeloblastic leukemia（AML）therapy.

Five organotin（IV） complexes, were obtained by reaction of SnR2C12 （R = Ph, Me, Bu） with ONO donor Schiff bases. The synthesized complexes have been investigated by elemental analysis and IR, 1H NMR, and ll9Sn NMR spectroscopy. These data show that the Schiff base acts as a tridentate dianionic ligand and coordinates via the imine nitrogen and two oxygen atoms. The X- ray crystallography of complex 4 shows a dimeric structure for this molecule. The in vitro antibacterial activities of the Schiff bases and their complexes have been evaluated against Gram-positive （Bacillus subtilis and Staphylococcus aureus） and Gram-negative （Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa） bacteria and compared with the standard antibacterial drugs.
