An Efficient Indoor Localization Based on Deep Attention Learning model

Indoor localization methods can help many sectors,such as healthcare centers,smart homes,museums,warehouses,and retail malls,improve their service *** a result,it is crucial to look for low-cost methods that can provide exact localization in indoor *** this context,imagebased localization methods can play an important role in estimating both the position and the orientation of cameras regarding an ***-based localization faces many issues,such as image scale and rotation ***,image-based localization’s accuracy and speed(latency)are two critical *** paper proposes an efficient 6-DoF deep-learning model for image-based *** model incorporates the channel attention module and the Scale Pyramidmodule(SPm).It not only enhances accuracy but also ensures the model’s real-time *** complex scenes,a channel attention module is employed to distinguish between the textures of the foregrounds and *** model adapted an SPm,a feature pyramid module for dealing with image scale and rotation variance ***,the proposed model employs two regressions(two fully connected layers),one for position and the other for orientation,which increases outcome *** on standard indoor and outdoor datasets show that the proposed model has a significantly lower mean Squared Error(mSE)for both position and *** the indoor 7-Scenes dataset,the mSE for the position is reduced to 0.19 m and 6.25°for the ***,on the outdoor Cambridge landmarks dataset,the mSE for the position is reduced to 0.63 m and 2.03°for the *** to the findings,the proposed approach is superior and more successful than the baseline methods.

Conventional generation emulation for power grids with a high penetration of wind power

Integrating large-scale wind plants with the electricity grids has many challenges for grid *** the variability and uncertainty of wind power,coordinating between different technologies of generation in the same grid can be considered the main problem,specifically for short-term frequency ***,a large penetration of wind power generation in modern power grids has a risky influence on the power-system ***-generation plants have contradictory behaviour compared to classic thermal plants,especially in active generated power-shortage events due to the variable nature of wind *** experience in wind plants keeps part of the available wind power unloaded,using what are known as deloading *** deloading techniques are usually applied to emulate the thermal-plant-governor function and confirm a proper spinning reserve for any active-power *** techniques decrease the generated power from wind plants continuously from maximum point tracking ***,the practical capacity,annual generated energy and economical income of wind plants are *** addition,grid-protection and control sub-schemes are set and designed according to the well-known conventional responses of thermal plants,which increase the need for thermal-plant-behaviour *** this paper,instead of the usual deloading methods,a supercapacitors scheme is proposed with wind turbines to emulate the response of conventional power *** study discusses the technical and economic benefits of the proposed addition of supercapacitors in the wind-plant-planning *** frequency grid-code indices are selected to evaluate studied *** results of the IEEE four-generation two-area system determines the effectiveness of suggested schemes *** System Advisor model(SAm)program estimates the economic benefits of a typical US study case compared with the existing wind-deloading technique.

The zwitterionic compound,levofloxacin,was determined for the first time at different pH values in pure samples,pharmaceutical preparations and spiked serum and urine *** types of potentiometric sensors including poly(vinyl chloride)membrane electrode,carbon paste electrode and screen printed electrode,containing the ion pair levofloxaciniumphosphomolybdate as the electroactaive species,were used for this *** effect of pH is the key factor in determining the ratio of the different species that can exist in the medium(zwitterionic,monocationic,dicationic,anionic and neutral),and so it is the controller of the electrochemical *** different sensors were fully characterized and optimized in terms of composition,pH effect,selectivity,response and *** different sensors showed reliable reversibility and could be utilized for the determination of the drug in real spiked physiological fluids with reliable recovery values.

many of the plants of genus Salsola are edible halophytes which are known for their use in treatment of inflammation as well as their nutritional *** study aims at comprehensive chemical profiling of two Salsola species that are widely distributed in arid areas;*** and ***,using UHPLC-QqQ-mS in an attempt to decipher the bioactive constituents of the aerial parts of the selected plants and their ex-vivo antiinflammatory activity.73 chromatographic peaks were annotated where phytosterols dominated the metabolites in *** while phenylalkylamines were the major constituents detected in ***-DA model coefficients plot indicated that tetradecanoic acid,beta sitosterol and pentacosane were positively correlated to discrimination of *** species while N-feruloyloctopamine,N-feruloyltyramine,and ferulic acid,were positively correlated to discrimination of *** ***,fractions of ***,reduced the 5 upregulation of TNF-αcaused by LPS to levels lower than those produced by piroxicam while the petroleum ether and n-butanol fraction of *** were more effective than piroxicam in reducing IL-6 gene *** coefficients plot depicted that methyl palmitate,aegicin,cleomiscoside,beta sitosterol and sitostanol possessed strong positive correlation to the down regulation of the pro-inflammatory marker TNF-α,IL-1βand IFN-γwhile only norepinephrine derivatives were the major metabolites that showed strong positive correlation to the inhibition of IL-6 pro-inflammatory *** results obtained may help to explain chemically,the potential anti-inflammatory effect of the various Salsola species fractions increasing the value of the Salsola species as a putative functional foods.

BACKGROUND Down syndrome(DS)is one of the most common causes of intellectual *** with DS have varying intelligence quotient(IQ)that can predict their learning *** To assess the brain metabolic profiles of children with DS and compare them to standard controls,using magnetic resonance spectroscopy(mRS)and correlating the results with *** This case-control study included 40 children with DS aged 6-15 years and 40 age and sex-matched healthy children as *** was used to evaluate ratios of choline/creatine(Cho/Cr),N-acetyl aspartic acid/creatine(NAA/Cr),and myoinositol/creatine(mI/Cr(in the frontal,temporal,and occipital lobes and basal ganglia and compared to controls and correlated with *** Children with DS showed significant reductions in NAA/Cr and mI/Cr and a non-significant reduction in Cho/Cr in frontal lobes compared to ***,we observed significant decreases in NAA/Cr,mI/Cr,and Cho/Cr in the temporal and occipital lobes and basal ganglia in children with DS compared to ***,there was a significant correlation between IQ and metabolic ratios in the brains of children with *** Brain metabolic profile could be a good predictor of IQ in children with DS.

Correlation between Wnt Signalling Inhibitors (Dickkopf-1 & Sclerostin) and the Intimal medial Thickness in Children on maintenance Hemodialysis

Background: Wnt signalling inhibitors (Dickkopf-1 and Sclerostin) signalling play a role in vascular development and may contribute to calcification. Aim: To investigate the association between Dickkopf-1 and sclerostin serum concentrations in children undergoing maintenance hemodialysis with intimal medial thickness and peak systolic velocity of the main arteries. Patients and methods: A study was conducted on 40 children undergoing maintenance hemodialysis and controls of the same age and sex. The study measured the initial medial thickness (ImT) and peak systolic velocity (PSV) of the main vessels (carotid, ulnar, and femoral). Dickkopf-1 and sclerostin serum levels in both groups were assessed, and a routine investigation was performed. Results: The findings indicate that the levels of serum Dickkopf-1 and Sclerostin were significantly higher in the hemodialysis group 2540.65 (2215.4 - 2909.2 pg/ml) and 1.17 (0.85 - 2.03 ng/ml)respectively (P = 0.001), compared to their control group it was 1110.45 (885.45 - 1527.65 pg/ml) and 0.28 (0.25 - 0.32 ng/ml)) respectively P = 0.001. Additionally, there was a significant increase in intima-media thickness (ImT) with a decrease in peak systolic velocity (PSV) in the main blood vessels, including the carotid, ulnar, and femoral arteries. A significant correlation was also observed between Dickkopf-1 and sclerostin levels and ImT of the carotid, ulnar, and femoral arteries. Conclusion: Wnt signalling inhibitors (Dickkopf-1 and Sclerostin) exert effects beyond the bone and significantly contribute to early vascular calcification in pediatric patients undergoing maintenance hemodialysis.

Composites are composed of multiphase materials, where each phase has specific properties that differ from those of the other phases which can effect on the whole properties of composite. Nanocomposites are class of materials that contain at least one phase in the nanometric size range and can be produced by any suitable technique for preparing nanomaterials. Composites are an interesting class of materials that have recently been used in numerous applications, including structural, biomedical, electronics, and environmental applications. In composites, reinforcements might be fibers, particulates, or whiskers. mechanical alloying(mA) is a promising technique for producing nanocomposite materials that are difficult or impossible to prepare via conventional techniques. In this review, we provide an overview of nanocomposites prepared by the mA process. The mechanism of milling and other milling parameters are overviewed, and insights into sintering categories and parameters are also presented.

Linearly and Quadratically Separable Classifiers Using Adaptive Approach

This paper presents a fast adaptive iterative algorithm to solve linearly separable classification problems in R *** each iteration,a subset of the sampling data （n-points,where n is the number of features） is adaptively chosen and a hyperplane is constructed such that it separates the chosen n-points at a margin and best classifies the remaining *** classification problem is formulated and the details of the algorithm are ***,the algorithm is extended to solving quadratically separable classification *** basic idea is based on mapping the physical space to another larger one where the problem becomes linearly *** illustrations show that few iteration steps are sufficient for convergence when classes are linearly *** nonlinearly separable data,given a specified maximum number of iteration steps,the algorithm returns the best hyperplane that minimizes the number of misclassified points occurring through these *** with other machine learning algorithms on practical and benchmark datasets are also presented,showing the performance of the proposed algorithm.

Predictive value of serum lactate dehydrogenase in diagnosis of septic shock in critical pediatric patients:A cross-sectional study

Objectives:To determine the predictive value of lactate dehydrogenase(LDH)in the diagnosis of septic shock and its association with other prognostic scores in critical pediatric ***:A cross-sectional study was performed at Children’s Hospital of Cairo University between June 2019 and December 2019.A total of 200 pediatric patients were divided into the septic shock group[100 critically ill patients with septic shock from the pediatric intensive care unit(PICU)]and the control group(100 patients with only sepsis).LDH was determined in the first 24 hours of *** sensitivity and specificity of LDH in diagnosis of septic shock were assessed;the levels of related indicators of patients with different etiologies were compared;correlations between LDH,Paediatric Index of mortalityⅡ,and Pediatric Sequential Organ Failure Assessment(pSOFA)were ***:median LDH was 512μL(406.50-663.00)in the septic shock group and was significantly higher than that[190μL(160.00-264.50)]in the control group(Pmedian LDH in children with chest infecion was higher than that in children with other diagnoses(P=0.047).A good positive correlation was found between pSOFA and LDH(r=0.503,Pmmatory marker in the diagnosis of septic shock and is valuable for PICU admission decisions.
