The aim of this research is to demonstrate a novel scheme for approximating the Riemann-Liouville fractional integral *** would be achieved by first establishing a fractional-order version of the 2-point Trapezoidal rule and then by proposing another fractional-order version of the(n+1)-composite Trapezoidal *** particular,the so-called divided-difference formula is typically employed to derive the 2-point Trapezoidal rule,which has accordingly been used to derive a more accurate fractional-order formula called the(n+1)-composite Trapezoidal ***,in order to increase the accuracy of the proposed approximations by reducing the true errors,we incorporate the so-called Romberg integration,which is an extrapolation formula of the Trapezoidal rule for integration,into our proposed *** numerical examples are provided and compared with a modern definition of the Riemann-Liouville fractional integral operator to illustrate the efficacy of our scheme.

Objective:To assess the effect of memantine combined with liraglutide on aluminum chloride(AlCl_(3))and D-galactose(D-GAL)-induced neurotoxicity in ***:male Wistar rats were divided into 5 groups of 5 animals each:the positive control,the negative control,the memantine-treated group,the liraglutide-treated group,and the combination group treated with memantine and ***_(3)and D-GAL were used to induce *** tests,brain beta-amyloid protein,and oxidative stress biomarkers were ***:The morris water maze test indicated an enhanced memory in the combination ***,the combination treatment of liraglutide and memantine resulted in a remarkable reduction in the beta-amyloid protein level in the brain *** inflammation and oxidative stress biomarkers were significantly reduced,and the levels of antioxidant parameters were ***:The combination of liraglutide and memantine exerts neuroprotective effects and enhances memory and cognitive functions in rats with Alzheimer’s disease.

Integrating titanium-based implants with the surrounding bone tissue remains challenging. This study aims to explore the impact of different anodization voltages （20-80V） on the surface topography of two-phase （α/β） Ti alloys and to produce TiO2films with enhanced bone formation abilities. Scanning electron microscopy coupled with energy dispersive spectroscopy （SEm-EDS） and atomic force microscopy （AFm） were applied to investigate the morphological， chemical， and surface topography of the prepared alloys and to confirm the growth of hydroxyapatite （HA） on their surfaces. Results disclosed that the surface roughness of TiO2films formed on Ti-6Al-7Nb alloys was superior to that of Ti–6Al–4V alloys. Ti-6Al-7Nb alloy anodized at 80 V had the highest yields of HA after immersion in SBF with enhanced HA surface coverage. The developed HA layer had a mean thickness of 128.38 ± 18.13 μm， suggesting its potential use as an orthopedic implantable material due to its promising bone integration and， hence， remarkable stability inside the human body.

Air pollution from shipping is becoming a critical issue,particularly in dense hub port *** proposed solution to minimize ship-based emissions at ports is the implementation of an Onshore Power Supply(OPS)*** allows ships to shut off their auxiliary engines and instead connect to the port *** there have been numerous studies conducted on ports in Europe and the United States,little research has been done on Egyptian ***,this paper aims to investigate the feasibility of implementing OPS at Port Said West Port in Egypt,aligning with Egypt Vision 2030’s goals for addressing climate *** research primarily focuses on analyzing data collected from calling ships to generate socio-economic and cost-effectiveness analyses of *** further enhance the environmental benefits of OPS,the paper proposes the use of solar energy as the OPS electricity *** findings of the study revealed that by relying on the national grid,emissions can be reduced by 28%.moreover,it is predicted that this reduction could reach 100%if electricity generation is solely based on solar ***,the economic analysis demonstrates promising profitability,with a payback period of approximately two years.

The effect of variable viscosity and thermal conductivity on steady magnetohydrodynamic（mHD） heat and mass transfer flow of viscous and incompressible fluid near a stagnation point towards a permeable stretching sheet embedded in a porous medium are presented,taking into account thermal radiation and internal heat genberation/*** stretching velocity and the ambient fluid velocity are assumed to vary linearly with the distance from the stagnation *** Rosseland approximation is used to describe the radiative heat flux in the energy *** governing fundamental equations are first transformed into a system of ordinary differential equations using a scaling group of transformations and are solved numerically by using the fourth-order Rung-Kutta method with the shooting technique.A comparison with previously published work has been carried out and the results are found to be in good *** results are analyzed for the effect of different physical parameters,such as the variable viscosity and thermal conductivity,the ratio of free stream velocity to stretching velocity,the magnetic field,the porosity,the radiation and suction/injection on the flow,and the heat and mass transfer *** results indicate that the inclusion of variable viscosity and thermal conductivity into the fluids of light and medium molecular weight is able to change the boundary-layer behavior for all values of the velocity ratio parameter λ except for λ = *** addition,the imposition of fluid suction increases both the rate of heat and mass transfer,whereas fluid injection shows the opposite effect.

A numerical study is performed to investigate the flow and heat transfer at the surface of a permeable wedge immersed in a copper （Cu）-water-based nanofluid in the presence of magnetic field and viscous dissipation using a nanofluid model proposed by Tiwari and Das （Tiwari I K and Das m K 2007 Int. J. Heatmass Transfer 50 2002）. A similarity solution for the transformed governing equation is obtained, and those equations are solved by employing a numerical shooting technique with a fourth-order Runge-Kutta integration scheme. A comparison with previously published work is carried out and shows that they are in good agreement with each other. The effects of velocity ratio parameter ~, solid volume fraction tp, magnetic field m, viscous dissipation Ec, and suction parameter Fw on the fluid flow and heat transfer characteristics are discussed. The unique and dual solutions for self-similar equations of the flow and heat transfer are analyzed numerically. moreover, the range of the velocity ratio parameter for which the solution exists increases in the presence of magnetic field and suction parameter.

Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy （LIBS） technique has been applied to inves- tigate two different types of bacteria, Escherichia coli （B1） and micrococcus luteus （B2） deposited on glass slides using Spectrolaser 7000. LIBS spectra were analyzed using spectrolaser software. LIBS spectrum of glass substrate was compared with bacteria spectra. Ca, mg, Na, K, P, S, C1, Fe, A1, mn, Cu, C, H and CN-band appeared in bacterial samples in air. Two carbon lines at 193.02 nm, 247.88 nm and one hydrogen line at 656.28 nm with intensity ratios of 1.9, 1.83 and 1.53 appeared in bacterial samples B1 and B2 respectively. Carbon and hydrogen are the important components of the bio-samples like bacteria and other cancer cells. Investigation on LIBS spectra of the samples in He and Ar atmospheres is also presented. Ni lines appeared only in B2 sample in Ar atmosphere. From the present experimental results we are able to show that LIBS technique has a potential in the identification and discrimination of different types of bacteria.

Functional statistics is a new technique for dealing with data thatcan be viewed as curves or images. Parallel to this approach, the Near-InfraredReflectance (NIR) spectroscopymethodology has been used in modern chemistryas a rapid, low-cost, and exact means of assessing an object’s chemicalproperties. In this research, we investigate the quality of corn and cookiedough by analyzing the spectroscopic technique using certain cutting-edgestatistical models. By analyzing spectral data and applying functional modelsto it, we could predict the chemical components of corn and cookie *** Functional Classical Estimation (KFCE), Kernel Functional QuantileEstimation (KFQE), Kernel Functional Expectile Estimation (KFEE),Semi-Partial Linear Functional Classical Estimation (SPLFCE), Semi-PartialLinear Functional Quantile Estimation (SPLFQE), and Semi-Partial LinearFunctional Expectile Estimation (SPLFEE) are models used to accuratelyestimate the different quantities present in Corn and Cookie dough. Theselection of these functional models is based on their ability to constructa forecast region with a high level of confidence. We demonstrate that theconsidered models outperform traditional models such as the partial leastsquaresregression and the principal component regression in terms of predictionaccuracy. Furthermore, we show that the proposed models are morerobust than competing models such as SPLFQE and SPLFEE in the sensethat data heterogeneity has no effect on their efficiency.

Wellbore instability in oil and gas industry well drillings is a significant challenge that is linked to shale swelling when shale interacts with free water molecules in the water-based drilling *** design of environmentally benign,biodegradable,and effective shale hydration inhibitors is a prominent objective of contemporary exploration in well-drilling fluids as a replacement for the common KCl which is detrimental to aquatic *** work reports the synthesis and potential of novel green acrylic polymer-amyl ester activated carbon(-C)nanocomposite to hinder shale hydration in formations during *** less hydrophobic acrylic acid-acrylamide-activated carbon-amyl ester(AA-AAm-C-Amyl)and more hydrophobic acrylic acid-acrylamide-octadecene-activated carbon-amyl ester(AA-AAm-OD-CAmyl)composites were synthesized,characterized,and tested with standard methods as a cleaner fluid additive for shale swelling inhibition,and their results compared with that of *** polymer matrixes displayed remarkable thermal *** also indicate that AA-AAm-C-Amyl and AA-AAm-OD-CAmyl composites could stabilize wellbore effectively with 95.2%and 93.7%anti-swelling ratio,and shale recovery capacity of 97%and 95.2%*** surface evaluation of the composite fluidtreated bentonite revealed that the mechanism of inhibition could be based on the collaborative action of nanopore plugging of carbon core and strong adsorption of the polymer component of the materials on clay surfaces via encapsulation and hydrogen bonding to form an impressive filter cake which could actively prevent water invasion into ***,AA-AAm-C-Amyl and AA-AAm-OD-C-Amyl composites could be a sustainable substitute for the conventional KCl as a shale inhibitor for welldrilling.
