AIM:To compare outcomes of conventional and Hangback methods of inferior oblique(IO)recession in V-pattern strabismus with inferior oblique overaction(IOOA).METHODS:Comparative randomized study was conducted consisting of 50 patients,age 6 to 35 y having V-pattern strabismus[>15 prism diopter(PD)]with *** were divided equally in two groups and underwent IO recession,group A by conventional method and group B by Hang-back *** evaluated were reduction in V-pattern and IOOA,shift in torsion,improvement in binocular *** was a residual V-pattern of less than 10 PD at 1 y of follow ***:The mean V-pattern preoperatively and postoperatively at 1 y was 24±5.4 PD and 4.2±3.51 PD in group A and 23.44±6.44 PD and 5.76±3.8 PD in group B *** mean reduction in V-pattern was 20±6.78 PD in group A and 18.2±5.48 PD in group *** mean correction of IOOA was 18.48±3.13 PD in group A and 16±2.93 PD in group *** shift in extorsion was 3.08±1.8 degree in group A and 3.72±2.14 degree in group ***:Both the procedures achieve a significant and comparable reduction in V-pattern and ***-back recession being a landmark free surgery eliminates the need for intrascleral suturing thereby reducing the risk of scleral perforation with possible postoperative adjustment of *** may be considered as a good alternative for IO recession in patients of V-pattern strabismus with mild to moderate amount of IOOA.

In this paper, the problem of robust absolute stability of Lurie system with probabilistic time-varying delay and normbounded parametric uncertainty is considered. The time delay variation range is divided into two sub-intervals. By considering the probability distribution of the time-varying delay between the two sub-intervals and the knowledge of the delay variation range, a novel linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) based stability condition is derived by defining a Lyapunov Krasovskii functional. It is illustrated with the help of numerical examples that the derived stability criteria can lead to less conservative results as compared to the results obtained by the traditional method of using the delay variation range information only.

To meet the demand of raw material, i.e., wood, from the available sources always remained a big challenge for paper industries since the last two decades. For a sustainable supply of raw material in future, major plantation activities were undertaken by paper industries, like West Coast Paper Mills Limited （WCPM）, by constituting a society, i.e., Society for Afforestation, Research and Allied Works （SARA）, Dandeli in 2001. The main aim was to promote afforestation programme through major plantations activities on the degraded lands （under rainfed condition） and to generate employments and capacity building. The WCPM is a leading paper manufacturing industry of the country （under the flagship of Bangur group） located at the bank of Kali River in Dandeli of Uttar Kannada district in State Karnataka. To date, company through SARA has raised captive plantations on more than 50,000 acres of degraded land by farmers in different districts of Maharashtm, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Tamilnadu States under Captive Plantation Project through Contract for Farming （CFF） since 2006 under a simple agreement period of only five years. After five years, society arranged to harvest the first rotation crop of the farmer of 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 plantations and paid the amount of the crop directly to farmers. SARA has a mutual contract with WCPM for purchasing pulpwood. With this, farmers are getting full amount of their crop harvested after five years without any hurdle through SARA. SARA did all the expenditures, i.e., from land development, plantation and harvesting. Under its agroforestry plantation programme, superior planting material of various pulpwood species suited to particular area, i.e., Eucalyptus, Subabul, Casuarina and Acacia were planted on farmer＇s land. Farmers were also encouraged for intercropping, like maize, peanut （groundnut）, chilly, tomato and ginger with plantations. Objective:To look for change in relative renal function and document renal scarring following endoscopic renal pelvic instillation sclerotherapy(RPIS)in patients with chyluria by dimercaptosuccinic acid(DMSA)renal ***:A prospective study was performed between November 2015 and September *** patients with biochemically documented chyluria who underwent RPIS using either 1%-silver nitrate or 0.1%-povidine iodine were *** received either 3-,6-or *** renal scan was performed before and 2e3 months after ***:Of the 34 patients,22 were *** age was 41.08±16.64 years(range,15-70 years).Thirty-two patients(94.1%)responded to therapy while two did not respond even after *** follow-up was 8.94±3.70 *** mean relative renal function(preinstillation)of normal kidney was 50.76%±3.55%while that of affected renal unit(side of instillation)was 49.20%±3.44%(range,43.0%-61.0%).After instillation therapy,the mean relative renal function of normal side was 52.26%±3.57%while that of affected renal unit was 47.50%±3.56%(range,41.0%-54.0%).The relative renal function did not change>5%from the baseline value in any patient except one(in which the differential function increased paradoxically by 12%).Two patients developed renal scar in post-instillation renal ***:Endoscopic sclerotherapy in chyluria is safe and *** relative renal function does not deteriorate by more than 5%.There is a small risk of development of renal *** studies involving larger number of patients are needed to answer this dilemma.

Changes in glacial lakes and the consequences of these changes, particularly on the development of water resources and management of glacial lake outburst flood(GLOF) risk, has become one of the challenges in the sustainable development of high mountain areas in the context of global warming. This paper presents the findings of a study on the distribution of, and area changes in, glacial lakes in the Koshi basin in the central *** on the number of glacial lakes and their area was generated for the years 1977, 1990, 2000, and 2010 using Landsat satellite images. According to the glacial lake inventory in 2010, there were a total of 2168 glacial lakes with a total area of 127.61 km^2 and average size of 0.06 km^2 in the Koshi basin. Of these,47% were moraine dammed lakes, 34.8% bedrock dammed lakes and 17.7% ice dammed lakes. The number of glacial lakes increased consistently over the study period from 1160 in 1977 to 2168 in 2010, an overall growth rate of 86.9%. The area of glacial lakes also increased from 94.44 km^2 in 1977 to 127.61 km^2 in 2010, a growth rate of 35.1%. A large number of glacial lakes in the inventory are small in size(≤ 0.1km^2). End moraine dammed lakes with area greater than 0.1 km^2 were selected to analyze the change characteristics of glacial lakes in the basin. The results show that, in 2010, there were 129 lakes greater than 0.1 km^2 in area; these lakes had a total area of 42.92km^2 in 1997, increasing to 63.28 km^2 in 2010. The distribution of lakes on the north side of the Himalayas(in China) was three times higher than on the south side of the Himalayas(in Nepal).Comparing the mean growth rate in area for the 33 year study period(1977-2010), the growth rate on the north side was found to be a little slower than that on the south side. Target based association rules extract the correlation between targets in and around strategically specified regions. These rules can be used to predict and estimate the future results and find the faulty targets, etc. To extract these rules efficiently and effectively data preparation is required. The existing mechanisms of data preparation have the problem of redundancy in the data. As a consequence, extra energy is required for the sensors which used to monitor the targets. In this paper, authors propose a novel data preparation approach for target based association rule mining from the point of coverage wireless sensor networks, which reduces the redundancy in the data and thus enhances the performance of the network.

The Ypresian Cambay Shale Formation at Vastan and Mangrol lignite mines in Gujarat, western India, has yielded a rich vertebrate fauna with numerous taxa of European affinities. Here we report a new, approximately contemporary vertebrate assemblage from two fossiliferous layers in the nearby mine of Tadkeshwar. These layers have yielded a similar mammal fauna with the co-occurrence of the perissodactyl-like cambaytheriid Cambaytherium thewissi, the adapoid primates Marcgodinotius indicus and cf. Asiadapis cambayensis, and the hyaenodontid lndohyaenodon raoi. The presence of these species in both Vastan and Tadkeshwar mines and at different levels suggests that the deposits between the two major lignite seams represent a single land mammal age. Apart from the aforementioned species there is a new, smaller species of Cambaytherium, and a new genus and species of esthonychid tillodont. This fauna also contains the first large early Eocene vertebrates from India, including an unidentified Coryphodon-like pantodont, a dyrosaurid crocodyliform and a new giant madtsoiid snake. Among the Tadkeshwar vertebrates several taxa are of Gondwana affinities, such as Pelomedusoides turtles, dyr- osaurids, and large madtsoiids, attesting that the early Eocene was a crucial period in India during which Laurasian taxa of European affinities co-existed with relict taxa from Gondwana before the India-Asia collision. Our results suggest that terrestrial faunas could have dispersed to or from Europe during episodes of contact between the Indian subcontinent and different island blocks along the northern margin of the Neotethys, such as the Kohistan Ladakh island-arc system. Gondwana taxa might represent remnants of ghost lineages shared with Madagascar, which reached the Indian subcontinent during the late Cretaceous; alternatively they might have come from North Africa and passed along the southern margin of the Neotethys to reach the Indian subcontinent. New Design Methodologies for High Speed Low-Voltage 1-Bit CMOS Full Adder Circuits

New methodologies for l-Bit XOR-XNOR full- adder circuits are proposed to improve the speed and power as these circuits are basic building blocks for ALU circuit implementation. This paper presents comparative study of high-speed, low-power and low voltage full adder circuits. Simulation results illustrate the superiority of the proposed adder circuit against the conventional complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor （CMOS）, complementary pass-transistor logic （CPL）, TG, and Hybrid adder circuits in terms of delay, power and power delay product （PDP）. Simulation results reveal that the proposed circuit exhibits lower PDP and is more power efficient and faster when compared with the best available 1-bit full adder circuits. The design is implemented on UMC 0.18 μm process models in Cadence Virtuoso Schematic Composer at 1.8 V single ended supply voltage and simulations are carried out on Spectre S.
